These lads put more into a song than many put into an album.
Most Black Sabbath songs have a lot of change ups, it's like two or three songs in one. The bassist Geezer Butler wrote most of their lyrics, and everyone in the band was a Christian.
After Every Day Comes and Goes, the main riff of Under The Sun was reintroduced and continued until the very end. So Every Day Comes and Goes was essentially the meat between the 2 pieces of bread.
This song is long overdue.
Remember the lyrics are by the bass player, Geezer Butler, who is Catholic.
Thanks for the reaction Brad - always loved when you and Lex did Sabbath.
"Every Day Just Comes and Goes" is the middle movement of the song. The whole sone is referred to as "Under the Sun". Sabbath was required to have a certain amount of tracks/songs on their album...so they double named songs to get by that
Yup. War Pigs/Luke's Wall. Who the hell is Luke? 😂
Brad never feel muzzled you rock keep up the great work 👏👏👏
Bill Ward 🔥🥁
Ozzy never wrote Black Sabbath's lyrics. The bassist (Geezer Butler) wrote all the lyrics during the Ozzy era of Sabbath (1968-1978). And Sabbath actually preached Christianity believe it or not.
He wrote 'The Writ' from Sabotage.
Ozzy chipped in on some
👌👍
back when these albums were made the producers would take longer songs and title them as multiple songs to make the record more appealing. No one want an album with only 5 songs on it.
Black Sabbath songs don't have choruses. They're usually a main riff, verses, and changeup in the middle.
🔥🔥😁
Where's Lex?
Brad my man, you should just speak your mind mate, and live free. What you have to say may be a revelation to someone.
