When I got to the part where you draw the line across the screen just after doing the clouds, and drag the color underneath the line the whole screen changes to that color. Don’t think I missed a step. Not sure why it’s not functioning the way it did on this video.
Looking back, the opacity of the highlights on the trees and bushes probably could've been more like 50%, so that they didn't blend in too much into the snow. Of course, this is from the perspective that the highlights weren't actually snow.

yeah. I tweaked my own version of it so that the snow wouldn’t blend in with the highlights.
