I believe that Tokyo is the most modern ,rich and progressive city in the world better than New York City, Paris, London, Berlin,Sydney or even Shanghai.
Garbage cans are not generally found in public in Tokyo after there was a bad terrorist attack that involved leaving chemical weapons in garbage cans many years ago Train stations usually do have some but only behind the fare gates. Many also only have washrooms at this point. So I would suggest looking for them before you leave the fare paid area. Convenience stores usually have garbage cans and in general it is often expected that you can bring your garbage back to the shop you got it from. People often don't drink or eat things on the go, they'll stand outside the store and finish it and then take their garbage back in. Otherwise you're pretty much stuck just holding on to your garbage all day. Btw there is not really any downtown Tokyo, it's a very polycentric city so it's tough to say that any one district is the middle. The actual middle that everyone agrees on is the imperial palace in the middle that you called 'Chiyoda city' hehe (that's just a ward, lots of other things in there). Otherwise anything on the Yamanote Line is considered relatively central. Tokyo is massive I hope you enjoy it, it's my favorite city in the world
I'm Japanese. Thank you for this very entertaining video! The accommodation in the second half is a room where you have to take your shoes off before entering ^^; The way to tell the difference between accommodation where you have to take your shoes off and accommodation where you don't have to is, if there is a step or a square enclosed space just inside the entrance, you should take your shoes off there before entering the room. This is something that foreigners traveling here often don't know, but I hope it will be helpful. I look forward to seeing more great videos in the future ^^
You are now in Tokyo! If I should happen to run into you guys, I would like to say hello. Tokyo has become less safe recently, so please be careful of suspicious characters and drunks in the downtown area. Welcome to Japan! Have fun!
The RUclips algorithm directed me towards this video. You two have great on camera chemistry and make the video more fun because of it. I look forward to future content and will check out the older stuff.
that's something i learned from who knows where, that there are no public trashcans in Japan. and that they have a crazy sorting system. wish our trash inn the Phils was as well organized
yes, trash bin are very rare in japan, but there are usually available near vending machines, or 7-11/lawson/family mart or tourist spot street food though.
I presume you were in Tokyo in August but as a Japanese who was born and is living in Tokyo I wish you had avoided this brutally and horribly tropical hot summer. I wouldn’t go out for walk outside air conditioned house unless required to, but you might be young enough to… I hope you enjoyed here in Tokyo but next time just avoid July and August! Btw as far as central Tokyo business district is concerned you don’t have to worry about declining birthrate of Japan bc businesses people won’t stop coming there including from states as long as financial markets maintain to some extent of market cap and remain international.
29:50 the indoor streets are called "arcades" and they are open super early, but close really early too. You have to get out to the side streets with the all night bars/food joints.
Thank you for coming to Japan. 20:40 If the place where You heard the SAMURAI-like voice was a building called SAINEIKAN, it might have been the training voices of the Imperial Police officers.
i've watched a few reactions on those expensive fruit, you're really paying for the "perfection" and rarity because the taste is good but not that much better. they function as gifts mostly
Welcome to hot Japan! You've done a good job of choosing a location that's easy to get to from Marunouchi to Nakano. Will there be a sequel? I'm looking forward to it.
No offense but in Japan some basics for tourists, no eating while walking, shoes should be taken off even in a small apartment room, after 10pm no loud voices , backpacks should be carried in front. Enjoy Japan and all the best tasting food !
Walls in Japan are often paper thin (in some cases they're literally made of paper!). The Japanese are also very quiet people, unlike Americans! Their normal "indoor voices" were likely still too much for the neighbours. Even here in the UK, we say that we can hear Americans coming before we even see them! 😆😉
Hi, I'm BESTY who lives in Tokyo! I'm glad you guys stayed my city 🫶

The public trnsport and the subways or train lines are so efficient in Tokyo.
You are now in Tokyo! If I should happen to run into you guys, I would like to say hello.
Tokyo has become less safe recently, so please be careful of suspicious characters and drunks in the downtown area.
Welcome to Japan! Have fun!
Welcome to JAPAN 🎉
Enjoy your journey😊😊
Yah, I'm waiting for this
19:00 Maybe 'Tokyo tower' 🗼and 'Sky tree' 👍✨
Tokyo tower : 333m (Red)
Sky tree : 634m (Blue)
The Emperor of Japan actually resides in that palace. That's why with the high security.
Isaac, loved your imitation of “ The Hair “. 👍
A long time ago, I liked cocoa cigarettes and ate them often. Summer in Japan is hot and humid, so please be careful of heatstroke
Brown things in the ramen are menma (fermented bamboo shoots). They're sweet because they're simmered in a sweet stock
yay tokyo
Yes , it’s Japanese custom for shoes to be taken off even if it’s a small apartment .
The RUclips algorithm directed me towards this video. You two have great on camera chemistry and make the video more fun because of it. I look forward to future content and will check out the older stuff.
I think it is pickled bamboo shoot that you were wondering in the ramen.
I wish it's not summer when you go there lol. It's better to walk around if it is not too hot
Welcome to Tokyo, my place🎉
that's something i learned from who knows where, that there are no public trashcans in Japan. and that they have a crazy sorting system. wish our trash inn the Phils was as well organized

Like my friend Pee Wee would say: "Take a picture, it will last longer." Ha, Ha!
Wow Japan 🎉
Everything is delicious in Japan.
Welcome to Japan🇯🇵❤
7:41 I'm hungry now. I'm going out and I'm getting ramen.

How's japan compared to Taipei?

It’s impolite to wear your backpack on public transport. Carry it in front of you

Adding a bunch of stuff to your first bowl of authentic Japanese ramen before trying it is certainly a choice.
i've watched a few reactions on those expensive fruit, you're really paying for the "perfection" and rarity because the taste is good but not that much better. they function as gifts mostly
Bruh's , The ancient ailen of Japan are the 7 members of XG lol 😅👽
The katsu should definitely be crunchy, it doesn't really make good takeout 😅

Now you can see why I laughed at you guys for saying Singapore was the most modern city in Asia. 🤣 You guys have no clue about East Asia.
Maybe the walls are super thin?
But it was kinda rude for the neighbors to bang the wall.
yeah walls in japanese building typically thin unless you're staying in soundproofed 5 star hotels or penthouse/classy apartments

Wearing shoes in the Room!
what the point of going to japan, everything looks the same in japan, you just go to your local dojo and it looks japan already lol😂
two of the best city in Asia, Shanghai and Tokyo, period . next stop Shanghai
HEHEHE
No, garbage is not welcome in Shanghai😓
The place you guys are going to is Korea, not Japan!
30:03 'Chateraise'
I recommend this shop!!!
It's ice cream and cake shop!
The sweets of this shop are inexpensive and soo yammy!!!🥺🍦🧁💕
