    I’ve learned to torch up a socket that fits in the bearing. The heat will transfer, better than putting a crank in the freezer

      I sure will! In about a week or so I will put together a video on the basics of jetting these bikes and offer tips and then I can use it as a reference for future videos so others can follow along and get into the carb. Its a good request that I been needing to get to and thanks for the request. Its long over due but very soon! Thanks again!

    Dude, it does not matter when I owe it.Which way you face the steel plate?Which you just said about it makes it easier on the clutch to not grab is total bullshit

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  4 месяца назад

      Well tell that to yamaha. They are the ones who suggest putting the steal in that way. And thats how I find them on all new bikes

    I have a 2006 and just now noticing I don’t have a neutral switch position sensor , what year did Yamaha introduce this and does it have any performance affect on my engine?

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад +2

      They first started using it on the American model in 2011. It has no performance gain at all. All it does is tell the CDI when its in neutral so the CDI can run a different timing map in Neutral to help lower the exhaust note down some which helps pass tech inspection on some race events

    Question I’m rebuilding my yz250f right now and I have rebuilt other engines before but I’ve never used a feeler gauge next to the crank. Should I do that for this bike?

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад +2

      On 4 strokes with timing chains they lock the crankshaft down on one of the crank bearings to keep the crank from walking left or right. Usually the clutch side of the crank. Usually a collar under the main crank bolt and gear that reaches down to the right crank bearing to lock it into the right place. So on a 4 stroke you don't have to worry about crank centering. You will be good

    Did you ever try out the 9 version of the br10ecmix 🤙🏻

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад

      Yes I did. And it was surely a winner on the 250. It did exactly the same as on the 125, it seems to increase top end and smoothen the revs some. Also seems to give a better power and bike feels faster.. I'm sticking with it for now

    • @jojokarli

      👌🏻 nice I was in two minds wether to get the br10ecmix or br9ecmix for the 125

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Год назад +1

      Oh. My bad. I thought u was asking about the 250. On the 125 I tried the br9ecmix and didn't notice a difference between that and the br10ecmix so I just went back to the 10. On the 250 I'm using the br9ecmix. But on the 125 I'm using the br10ecmix

      @@UpAllNight91 no spooge problems running a colder plug or is that even a concern all things being equal? I ride alot of trails along with track. Do you keep it year round? Probably not to cold in Florida

      @@UpAllNight91 oh btw I obtained the boyesen x wing. The model number is same for the rm 250, and it popped up significantly cheaper on ebay. Rode it last week, not super sure if it did a whole lot. I was trail riding in the woods, it can be kinda difficult to feel the difference there., Im going to take to the track and see if i notice it, less variables there and just easier to pull off and change out at the truck. But if your interested I could mail it out to yah to test and possibly make a video on it. I think your probably a bit more in tune with the yz than me. Plus I think you would be the only person on yt to test it that wasn't sponsored. Same as your vforce vs boyesen reeds video

      Its easier on the back to get the motor in and out without the cylinder on it.
