Great and very helpful video! I just swapped a hellcat cluster into my 2012 Pursuit. Came out looking very clean thanks to your video.
Nice!
All dodge and Chrysler parts for the most part are plug and play
Including this one I’m guessing?
Nice video. Have you try to swap the front trim of the charger cluster on the challenger one ? In order to not have to use the fabric
I did the swap, for some reason my A/C all show in Celsius for some reason, won’t let me switch it back to Fahrenheit. I click US, it puts itself back to Metric.
Sold my car over 3 years ago but remember having a similar issue. However it was only my outside temp that would show in Celsius. The a/c was in Fahrenheit.
nice video was just about to buy a 2015 charger cluster for my 2011 charger but now im going with the challenger cluster looks way better
Thanks, that is gong to look nice!
Did it ever work out? Kind of debating buying a challenger cluster but don’t wanna waste 200+
@@Roy_Lamont didnt work for me… what year charger you got?
@@roadrunners6202 y didn’t it work I was gonna do the same thing
@@carlosadams8198 from my testing i tried 2015 chally cluster in my 2011 pursuit v8 it turns on but says transmission error… i put the exact cluster in my friends 2012 pursuit and it worked no problem… would only do if u have 2012 and up charger
So you can change to any cluster on 15 charger i heard somewhere online that if you switch cluster that the car wont start because incorrect cluster and needs to be programmed to that vechile with vin is this true???
Not sure about that. That didn’t happen with my car.
How did you adjust the mileage to be the same as your cars?
Go to the 7 minute mark! 😉
Let me ask a question. I bought my gen 3 hemi and nag 1 transmission for my duster. I also bought a 2012 cluster charger cluster to put in my duster. My question is does the ecu harness plug into the cluster or is that a separate wiring harness?
Sorry. Not sure. Keep me posted.
I have a question I have a rt I think if the speed meter are the same fit rt and scat pack I wanted to change the speed meter bc I like the logo of the bee 🐝
If you have a Tazer, you can change the logos.
This is clean
Can I do this on a charger 11?
I think @dubb45 on instagram did, check out his IG.
also love the 68 charger 🔥
Thanks! 👊🏻
I’m very late to this video. I never knew you could swap the clusters so thank you for this video! I have a basic 2015 se so mine doesn’t have the 0-60 timer on it. Do you know if the 0-60 timer would work as well or is the whole swap basically for like a new look?
It’s been a minute. No longer have the car. Think I activated that with a Tazer.
Do you have any problems with the speed being off? I see you originally had a 140mph cluster and went to a 160mph cluster. Does it adjust
No, it’s electronic, the speedometer is on point.
@@68Charger Thanks for the reply. I've really been wanting to do this, I love those gauges. I was really worried about the speed being off because I have a 140mph cluster too. Also, how did you get the miles flashed on it again to reflect your car?
Yeah, the Challenger cluster had about 9k miles on it, I got it adjusted over what my car had and waited until I hit that mileage to switch over.
@@68Charger how did you get the mile reader adjusted?
Could you have swapped the guts of the challanger cluster into the charger cluster so it would fit?
No, they were completely different.
Did you have any problems with the fuel gauge being stuck at full?
I did not encounter that issue.
Mine says range is low but it didn’t say the same for the fuel gauge, putting fuel in a little while so
What did DUBB45 charge to do the recalibration of the odometer?
I can’t remember. It think it came out under 100 after shipping both ways.
Dodge should have kept the Challenger Cluster for the 2015+ Chargers. Honestly it looks better and more like muscle car heritage.
Damn I knew I wasn't trippin. The clips were too big! I thought it was gonna be plug and play 🤦🏾♂️
Yeah man, I thought it would just be a simple swap. I decided to just go for it when I found a Challenger cluster for $40.
@@68Charger yea it's all good. I got them cut off and put it in. Thanks for this video 😎
@@lilboosie5 awesome, man! Glad it helped you.
How much does he charge to program mileage Boss?
@@hemilove3601 oh I have no idea. I'll have to get the alpha obd to do that
why didnt you just swap the guts. since there same interiors
They were not the same size.
Did you need a taser or it jus plugs right in?
It’s been a minute, no longer have the car. Think it was a direct plug and play.
What year of challenger was the doner for your swap?
I think it was a 2016 cluster
So did the new cluster make ur car show different miles at first
Correct, the mileage has to get adjusted to match my car’s
Do you know if this type of cluster works in a 06 model
Not sure, don’t think it will.
Would a challenger gauge work in a Chrysler 300? I bet it’ll look great
It might. I just wonder about the bezel fitting in with the Challenger cluster.
I’m working on that I have a redeye cluster I want to use on my Redeye300 build … with enough fab it’s possible I’m sure
I have srt8 challenger 392 2012 will it work on mines?
I don’t think it will.
How did the gas gauge work..lol
It worked when I plugged it in
Will it work on a 2013 charger r/t???
Maybe, I know you can install 16+ Charger clusters with a Tazer.
Do a challenger 2015+ cluster will fit 11-14 chargers?
They might, I know you can use a 15+ Charger cluster in 11-14s with a Tazer.
do the tazer need to be plug in all the time for that?
Would this work on like a 07 type charger?
Not sure, but would think it wouldn’t.
@@68Charger think imma have to full swap the interior might plan on it tho
