Man I need a walkthrough on how to hook the electricity part up to the original one

Basically what I did was looked at the original made sure the plug in faced the correct way in this case the clip retainer part faces upward away from the circuit board when you plug it in remove the plastic clip part from the wires it will not plug into the connector without removing it. Then I heat shrinked the two wire ends to make sure they didn't move I heat shrinked each individually and then heat shrinked both of them together so they couldn't come apart or slide backwards and pushed them into the factory cluster plug in the rest is pretty straightforward. You won't use the dial knob that comes with the kit that's designed to be used externally and plug into battery power. I cut it out of the setup and just heat shrinked the cut wires just in case something touched them so they wouldn't short out. Honestly I never did anything like this before so it was a bit nerve wrecking but it still works great other than the display part not being fully visible due to the slight difference in the backlighting setups but the gauges are all accurate and honestly I barely even notice it anymore. Sorry if I'm not detailed enough in the video I'm a pretty amateur RUclips person yet so I still have a lot of stuff to learn everything I do isn't edited so I can get a bit long winded and it's all recorded on a smartphone so it's pretty rough yet but I'm working on it.

Watch my first video about it the links in the description I will be honest it's not a hundred percent perfect fit it's decent but it could definitely be better the spot where it displays your mileage and alerts it cuts off the top portion of it so you can only read half of the letters but unfortunately I have not been able to find one that fits the later model years this one is for a 06-10 Dodge Magnum Charger and Challenger they are extremely similar but just different enough to be annoying if you want it perfect looking.
