Drygt tio år efter vinsten med ”Euphoria” gör Loreen comeback i Melodifestivalen.
Loreen har uppmärksammats för bland annat sin röst och sitt artistiska uttryck. ”Euphoria” blev en världshit som nådde förstaplatsen på topplistorna i 21 länder. I dag räknas det bland Eurovision Song Contests största klassiker genom tiderna.
År 2012 fick Loreen sitt porträtt upphängt bland en samling andra framstående svenskar på Arlanda flygplats "Stockholm Hall of Fame". År 2020 valdes Loreen och "Euphoria" också in i Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame vid dess instiftande. Hon tävlade även i Melodifestivalen 2011 och 2017.

Melodifestivalen looks absolutely crazy. The production is so good, maybe even better than Eurovision. Congrats to Sweden and Loreen! I really hope Eurovision 2024 has this type of production, too! 🇩🇪❤️🇸🇪
It was even better than Eurovision, Eurovision were on a budget compared to melodifestivalen.

What really touches my heart is how you can hear people howling and cheering throughout the entire song, that almost NEVER happens. You could just feel how loved Loreen and this song is. Immense experience!
I was there yesterday & the atmosphere was electric! 😱 People were going crazy in a way that doesn’t even translate through the TV 😭
Yeah but that’s only in Sweden and surrounded by Swedish fans. Same in Finland, Käärijä was 100% cheered but that’s because all the fans were Finns

The production here (camera direction, audio quality) is sooooo much better than what we got a Liverpool. Looking forward to next year.

This song is average at best and she doesnt deserve winning Eurovision again with a copy/pasted calculated G’son song just because she has an artistic staging. People get fooled by that and forget its a song competition, sadly. The hype is real.
@@paulmarkwilkinson8778 The same guy who has written about 100 MF and national selection songs in different countries. No one outside of MF wants to use him as a songwriter, that says a lot. He borrows and copies here and there, and with that amount of manufactured songs, how many new ideas can he have? The song is nothing special. Thats the reason they focus on the stage show, because the song would have NEVER won MF if anyone else did it.

There is also hidden back vocalists on the performance. On the chorus part, you should hear back vocalists' voice. But, that's true that her voice is amazing.
I think i identified precisely why this song moved me so much.
She's the only person on stage during Melodifestivalen that actually felt like a real person, totally genuine, no faked facial expressions, no faked emotions, all legitimate and genuine, and giving 100% of her entire soul in the song. Not in the usual self-delusional way to gain fame or try to feign immersion, but actual real true surrender to the music and letting what it means wash over her even if it breaks her.
This is what a real artist is like, that will be remembered for decades.
You cant fake this. Faces dont lie. We've evolved millions of years to detect when a smile or tear is fake.
And thats why its so rare. So many other artists, even "AAA" artists, dont ever dare to give 100%, they always hold back a bit in fear of messing up.
That's what I love about her. When she succeeds, she succeeds without relying on cheap and elaborate gimmicks. Granted the box can be considered a gimmick, however it's simple and minimal at best and it adds to the general aesthetic of her vocals, rather than taking away from it.

No entiendo como esta mujer no es mundialmente famosa, es extraordinaria! Ojalá gane Eurovisión de nuevo.
creo q el error de las divas eurovisivas es tratar de encajar con un sonido anglo en lugar de seguir en la línea de sus canciones de eurovision. Hurricane se hizo daño al hacer una versión en inglés de loco loco donde la instrumental es súper genérica y no tiene el poderío balkanico q tiene la original. Eleni saco triumph q parece cualquier canción genérica dance de usa cuando si hubiese sacado algo como aeraki to thiliko le hubiese ido muy bien. Quizá no un top 1 en billboard pero mínimo se hace un nombre.

Her performance is beyond words. The way she makes other people feel what she feels in her voice and her movement is stunning. This and euphoria staging is so simple and yet the best we have seen and brings out magin on stage!

If her 2012 entry was a 'masterpiece' she would have been a world star by now and all these years, like Celine Dion, and she would not need to attempt to go to Eurovision again and again. And gson songs are not masterpieces, they are copy pasted cheap material.

She's the best thing Sweden's given to the world since ABBA and arguably one of the best vocalists in the world for over a decade now! Yet Swedes let her flop time after time after Euphoria, even though 90% of the stuff she's put out since has been top quality, especially in comparison to all the literal trash that's been elevated by the industry. Absolutely captivating performance. It's as if everything just came together for the right purpose at the right time. Loreen is an incredible artist and credit must also go to the song composers and producers, and the set designers and other people involved in this performance. Very rare to see this type of a performance on a stage.
Loreen's the Queen! Svt Melodifestivalen should post her final performance, after winning the Swedish national contest, it was absolutely incredible, and so much better than this version where the stage and light seem somewhat blurred due to smoke. What an artist and singer she is, she wins it all because her voice and music is true quality at an international amazingly high level. 🖤🙂

Starting to like this performance more and more. The sound of the smoke machines at the beginning makes it so powerful! And the fact that she almost completely disappears in the smoke sometimes, makes it more mysterious and then powerful when she appears again.

The fog machines are tricky. Remember Georgia 2015, where you couldn't see the performer from certain angles for like half a song. They will have to figure it out. Also I heard quite a bit of noise from the microphone that I didn't hear during the semifinal.
