Drygt tio år efter vinsten med ”Euphoria” gör Loreen comeback i Melodifestivalen.
Loreen har uppmärksammats för bland annat sin röst och sitt artistiska uttryck. ”Euphoria” blev en världshit som nådde förstaplatsen på topplistorna i 21 länder. I dag räknas det bland Eurovision Song Contests största klassiker genom tiderna.
År 2012 fick Loreen sitt porträtt upphängt bland en samling andra framstående svenskar på Arlanda flygplats "Stockholm Hall of Fame". År 2020 valdes Loreen och "Euphoria" också in i Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame vid dess instiftande. Hon tävlade även i Melodifestivalen 2011 och 2017.

@@BlackStarASMR yes, she has playback of herself singing, that’s true. My point though is, while almost everybody else had the stage full of dancers, Loreen was on stage alone. Less is more!
@@DanielErik Oh yes, she's on the stage alone, like 2012 Euphoria. It's a style copy. And oh yes, it's the same kind of square stage again. The bridge is the same kind of whimmering tonality like in Euphoria 2012. And she has semi playback here. It doesn't matter if it's her voice in the playback or not. Playback is playback. So it's not live singing, it's semi live singing. Nevertheless it's still a decent song and still a decent performance. But it's not original. It feels like it was produced with the aim to win Eurovision again ... with the same kind of the song, the same kind of structure, the same kind of visuals and with the same kind of many other aspects.

You can hear the entire audience singing with her throughout the song and cheering for her, which is immense! I watch mello every year and trust me when I say that this is very rare, I can't even remember it EVER being this intense. Truly a force of nature, so incredibly grateful that we're able to witness this.

I prefer this performance than Eurovision's one because of the staging, it was a shame they couldn't bring those LEDs, but I'm still glad she won

I love it too, but this is the performance she did after she won so it is a little but light hearted and "sloppy". She will do it differently in ESC.

This is literally the best performance I saw from here with this song. Bring this honest and playful interaction with the public and little deviations from the main melody to Liverpool . In my opinion, it lifted the performance even more.
Georgina (Honest Vocal Coach) called these deviations as Kate Bush-like.
The winning performance was actually better than the previous one. Loreen delivered big and she deserves to win Eurovision. 🇬🇷

Pues de verdad que intento ver lo magnífico de esta canción, pero es que se me parece demasiado a Euphoria. Ya que el impulso de su fama la iba a hacer representante de Suecia sí o sí, creo que podrían haber arriesgado un poco más. Ella tiene voz para hacer brillar cualquier cosa, por eso me decepciona un poco que vaya con una canción y una puesta en escena que recuerdan directamente a su victoria en el certamen :(

I think i identified precisely why this song moved me so much.
She's the only person on stage during Melodifestivalen that actually felt like a real person, totally genuine, no faked facial expressions, no faked emotions, all legitimate and genuine, and giving 100% of her entire soul in the song. Not in the usual self-delusional way to gain fame or try to feign immersion, but actual real true surrender to the music and letting what it means wash over her even if it breaks her.
This is what a real artist is like, that will be remembered for decades.
You cant fake this. Faces dont lie. We've evolved millions of years to detect when a smile or tear is fake.
And thats why its so rare. So many other artists, even "AAA" artists, dont ever dare to give 100%, they always hold back a bit in fear of messing up.
