Drygt tio år efter vinsten med ”Euphoria” gör Loreen comeback i Melodifestivalen.
Loreen har uppmärksammats för bland annat sin röst och sitt artistiska uttryck. ”Euphoria” blev en världshit som nådde förstaplatsen på topplistorna i 21 länder. I dag räknas det bland Eurovision Song Contests största klassiker genom tiderna.
År 2012 fick Loreen sitt porträtt upphängt bland en samling andra framstående svenskar på Arlanda flygplats "Stockholm Hall of Fame". År 2020 valdes Loreen och "Euphoria" också in i Melodifestivalens Hall of Fame vid dess instiftande. Hon tävlade även i Melodifestivalen 2011 och 2017.

This will ALWAYS be the definitive version of this song: the camera work, lighting and display are God Tier.
Plus she is feeling it and hurting with the sadness of the words, and loving it.
At Eurovision it was ruined: the production looked cheap, there was bad camera work, the mood lighting was non existent, and she was stressed because she knew all of the above took away from her vision, because of the stage limitations in Liverpool.
I'll watch this version till the day I die. Its a masterpiece

@Chris Perry she sure did. Cos I HAMMERED this version up till Eurovision, and saw her live at Semi 1. I didn't think she was gonna win cos the production didn't translate across.

It's interesting how a heat in a small arena in Sweden can get things done but a huge BBC crew in a bigger arena can not get it right..

This is still her BEST performance of this song. I’m kind of disappointed that Sweden was unable to replicate the epicness of this performance in Liverpool due to the technical limitations, but happy that she won, it was so well deserved.
But this will always be my favorite performance of hers, it was just so ethereal and otherworldly.
The roof in Liverpool was too weak for this screen (it weights 1800kg) and would have take too long for the staff to fix

Surely then other artists should get the platform that Melodifestivalen gave Loreen to inspire others. Tone, for example, is blazing the stage for trans artists and showing them that transitioning is not the end of a musical career.

That performance was perfect on every aspect, especially staging's complexity (upper led screen cinematic animations) + camera angles (transition at 1:50 is spectacular, way more impactful than in Eurovision). If she had the opportunity to identically replicate this, of course the televote would have been better. Maybe not first place, but at least 280-290 points (so 40-50 more). Now, i remember why i was blown away first time i saw this. Congrats to Loreen and Sweden, at least next year we are sure to have a slick production so she will be able to show this stunning performance at its full potential again

They could not even film the symbols, which is Loreen's main point with the staging. They also had issues with smoke machine. They had the worst shots ever when filming her. SVT and Loreen did not hold back their feelings about the way the staging was handled and things got heated between the delegation and BBC..
Same emotions as 11 years ago. Even bigger, indescribable. Chills from head to toe, tears. So many beautiful emotions. Sweden is my winner this year. Loreen my queen.

This whole performance feels like a music video to me. Everything is perfect here. Loreen’s voice, music, stage and acting is flawless. Definitely the winner. She's got this and only hers to loose.
They have some great camera man , operators and sound engineers. It’s worthy to pay these people a bit more for such a great quality!
But that can be a problem. Sweden stagings use to be so inmersive that looks like an interval act being played in a different stage. The biggest example is 2018. Hope this year they fit more to the Eurovision stage.
Having seen footage shot from the audience, it does not look nearly as good. Hopefully they find a good balance.
@@jqxok I’m pretty sure that ESC team will work around the clock to allow us to experience the magic of the world's best music competition despite the additional challenges, that’s if she will be given the chance to represent Sweden again on the Eurovision stage. Loreen’s talent deserves to be celebrated and be recognized all over the world in my opinion.

Yes this performance is way better than one in Liverpool.
Yeah, the staging in Liverpool destroyed so much (as if she was stuck in a small cage trying to get out, and they excluded the best part all together with the tattoos / signs in the sky 2:24). I think she lost a lot of votes from the viewers because of the poor staging in Liverpool. And the monitor / screen they used over there also had really wide edges / boarders and poor lighting/effects on the 'ground' where she was supposed to be free in a dessert under the sky.
@@staffan144 Yeah that just shows how good Swedens production team and camera team really are! Much better than BBC. BBC had such a hard time to keep up with Swedens perfection. If everyone saw what we in Sweden saw and what we voted for then they would also have given her 12 points aswell and not just the jury. Loreen deserved the win! To bad they won't be knowing what they missing.
@@alvdansen7172 the small screen (with 20 cm edges... and the non-light ground/surface) was the biggest difference. In Liverpool it looked like she was trapped in a small cage trying to get out, as opposed to being free in the desert under the sky (with the symbols/tattoos)
This is one of the best love songs ive ever heard without being too much of something ( too dramatic, too sad, too shallow, too depressing etc ). It hit all the sweet spots all around like music, vocals, lyrics, pressence on stage and above all very emotional, true to what it tries to say. Songs can be catchy, can be alot of things. But powerful love songs like this which combine so much are super rare. I could see myself dancing while crying at the same time with this and thats unique. I see this song as a very easy win for Sweden. Well done

@@homerj9286 they had some real hard times over there getting the perfomance right. It's a challenging number and they struggled to get it right, it didnt turn out right in the end but that's life. I can imagine the stress when that led thing thing came down over her head. I would be pretty nervous knowing what had happened earlier. But we know what she is capable of. Nerves came through and tons of pressure too knowing this was gonna be to break the record with most wins in eurovision. Ton of pressure, quite literally ...it could have crushed anyone 😂

Embarrassing how melodifestivalen had a better and higher quality venue than eurovision... usually the eurovision performance is the best and most epic, but they had to make the box so much smaller and didn't even have a screen on the bottom one 💀did Loreen so dirty

Loreen performing in Eurovision again would bring tears to my eyes. She means a lot for me since I had really hard times in school and euphoria helped me a lot through those times. She is the reason why I‘m obsessed with Eurovision, and I‘m thankful for it. I had non-stop goosebumps while listening to Tattoo. Please Sweden, vote for her! I think I’ve watched this performance over 30 times already😅 I can‘t get enough of it…her voice, her presence, the lights, the staging…She is like a mystical warrior queen in the desert…The best moments in the song for me are the bridge and the final chorus…the energy and her voice are unbelievable! I love how this song is about love, and about grief, but in the end what makes this a timeless masterpiece is that it’s a deeply spiritual song. Loreen's song is truly something special. It's a song that really touches the heart and has incredible power. When I hear Loreen sing, I feel like she really means every word she sings, and that makes me believe in the message of the song. Plus, the melody is so catchy and it's hard not to be affected by it.
I really believe that Loreen will win Eurovision this year. She has previously won the competition and knows what it takes to succeed. In addition, she has an amazing voice and a stage presence that is truly impressive. The song's message about taking responsibility and making the world a better place is also something that I think many people will relate to and appreciate.
