When I was growing up in the 60s, I remember that at Christmas time we sat by the fireplace and dad put on Jussi Björling's O holy night, I was probably 6-7 years old and I remember how his voice gave me goosebumps, now almost 60 years later I get the same feeling when Erik sings, Jussi was one of the world's best tenors, Erik is one of the world's best vocalists!🫶🏻

As a Roman Catholic who loved Midnight Mass, where we lit candles, held hands with family, friends, and strangers, and were filled with good food, love, a firm belief in Jesus, Joseph, and Mary, and crying because it was perfection, come being a teen on the streets of NY, to all of the crap that comes with being an adult and losing so many loved ones. I just wanted to say yes the vocals were amazing, but I also wanted to give total props to the pianist. The vocals were so powerful but the pianist never once got lost in the mix. I just wanted to say yes the vocals were amazing, but I also wanted to give total props to the pianist. The vocals were so powerful but the pianist never once got lost in the mix. Absolutely stunning. A month ago I lost my dad and this was his all time favorite song. I so wish that he could of heard this.
