He does that all the time, and then tells that joke, and people keep coming back. It's why he hates people and thinks they're stupid.

I think that we don't tend to want to take a crap on Stalin in the US to this day, solely by dint of the fact that the USSR - then under the General Secretariat of the Communist Party thereof as led by Joseph Stalin - was our Ally during WWII.

They weren't his friends. Most of the people killed were part of the SA, who were originally Hitler's paramilitary wing, but they then wanted to take over for themselves. Hitler had the SA leadership killed to prevent them from attempting to gain power.

The usual answer to ranking mass-killers according to number of people killed is that it's actually not about that.
