The headphone port makes it so you can use disability HIDs in place of the buttons if you needed it (like the accessibility controllers from Xbox and Playstation) which is very very neat!
Or just foot pedals. Which it ships with. Pretty cool. Foot pedals already can be used as accessibility devices. Good accessibility is a win for everyone.

It has the feel of a halfway-okay mechanical keyboard and it has the look of a famicom accessory... this fits nicely into a venn diagram for a whole bunch of people, I'm sure.
I personally really like the keyboard; I even own the nes version, but you should know better than to expect a channel like hipyo tech to like a clicky keyboard.
As someone who messed with eletronics that used the 3.5 mm jacks they are able to transfer electrical signals...its still used today with some conference equipment.
No other keyboard I’ve heard has sounded that close to the early 80s apple keyboards. I miss those clicks. Those were the clicks of my childhood. The only other click that would be almost as satisfying would be the click of a 70s Remington typewriter.
Genuinely excited to see if you can mod it. I have not been able to figure out how to open it. I just swapped out the Box Whites for some Akko Lavenders. Love it either way.

Wow. The graphics on that keyboard transported me back to 1987 or 88 when my dad had his first computer. A Sanyo with a green monochrome screen. The keyboard looked pretty similar, graphics wise. That's wild.
Kailh click bar switches sounds great. A lot of 'enthusiasts' are just so big of a snob that anything sounding remotely different from their holy panda or gateron ink black is considered horrible.
Nothing wrong with clicky switches, using an ION x ai03 Equinox with Kailh Crystal Pink clicky switches myself and it sounds amazing. The only thing that is bad is click-JACKET switches, now those deserve the hate, but not click-bar switches.

I ended up with the model m 8 bit do and I love it, and then I noticed the keys were very clacky to match the old ibm original, and I liked it, but my wife didn’t while she was trying to sleep. So then began my search for C R E A M Y T H O C K. I grabbed some prelubed Glorious Lynx switches at Best Buy just to try out something new and I got this thing nice and thocky. Sad part is, every time I type on it I think “I wish hipyo could feel this and tell me what he thinks” lol
Given I'm someone who uses linear switches, like the MX speed silvers, a this board is an absolute win! Looks amazing, hot swappable, 80% with media controls, and no tactile buckling! Sign me up!
i dont get why keyboards are so expensive in dollar. i got my gmk for 33 dollars, pbt dye-sub japanese keycaps kit for 11 dollars and ktt white kang v3 switches for 6 dollars (70) total: 50 dollars (R$ 250)

The thing about keyboards is that you have a general idea of the sound profile of the keyboard you're buying just by the switches it comes with. In this case, he knows it's a clicky switch, and he doesn't like it, so why review it in the first place? He's clearly going to be biased against it, and thus fail to provide an unbiased point of view.
i modded this keyboard and removed all the springs inside the switches. now it sounds amazing. by default it sounds very loud and clicky. people have problem opening it up but i could open it easily and it's pretty mod friendly.
