I just came upon this, Kasper. I think I'm going to repeat your build. I loved the drilled holes mistake - it was truly a human moment - and made the success that much sweeter. I don't understand the flight control systems out there, so I'm still doing research. I just wanted to tell you the video was great.
Great build! Glad you went into detail in the manufacturing process. Would you mind sharing what dimensions you cut your carbon fiber arms and landing gear to? I'd like to do a similar build.
Great video, thanks for taking the time to make it. I'm working on designing my own heavy lift system based off of this design, and I have one question about your arm mount issue at 7:40 - would it have worked to simply shim the top plate up with some washers to give the proper clearance over the arms? As I understand it, angled arms offer some stability advantages. Is there any reason why some washers or a slightly taller top half of the arm mounts would have caused problems?
Nice drone . What about top and bottom of the frame . Diagram? Schematics or some more details please . I wanna build this drone using one Nora+ from CUAV . Appreciate
Thanks for the information If I understood correctly you had PCBWay cut the carbon fiber. I went to there sit and couldn't find that option. Please point me in the right direction. Thanks
Kasper - great video! Do you have any issue running those motors with the 4-in-1 50A esc? I have the same FC/ESC combo and I am considering reproducing your build in the next few weeks.
Hi, I just found your channel as I want to build my own drone, I have now got a 3d printer and some parts from Runcam direct from the US, so will be taking on board some of your valuable information. Thankyou for sharing with us. (ps Subscribed and rung the bell!!)
I was planning to build myself a massive drone with a separate propellor in the rear, like a mashup behind a mq9 and a drone, but my 3d printer crapped itself, so I have to buy a new one.

Hi Kurt
Thanks, I really appreciate that. I hope you succeed in your build.
The GPS being farther away from the electronics will help.
You can also twist the cable for EMF mitigation.
I will try that!
@@kaspersorensen did it work?
what's the time of this drone to fly
How much weight can this thing lift?
Hey thanks for the detailed parts list and the advice about the drill press!!!
Built my 7" with the speedybee f405 v4 60a 30x30 flight controller stack. Turned out great. Now you got me wanting to build a heavy lifter lol

Thanks man. The legs are 25 cm, and the arms protrude 32 cm from the hub so their total lenght is about 35 cm
Only 320 likes he definitely deserves more

You are right, and I also think washers could have solved it, still I believe it is a design flaw.
please your my only hope can you tell me how did you connect hr resever to the flightcontroler
what was the cost ? and if you use a bit cheaper materials ?
Hi, nice video but i have a question, Whats the avaliable payload on this one? How much can it lift?
Do you have a wiring diagram? I am trying to figure out the wiring between the receiver and the speedy bee, and the DJI unit with the speedy bee.

how's that xt60 connector holding up with those motors?
Hi, great drone! How did you calculate how much battery you needed as far as amps and mah
Thanks for the information

Kasper, great video. I am having trouble finding Tom's design files, can you send me a link?
What is the maximum weight it can lift?
I have not done any max test, but it easily lifts 2,2 kg.
How to get frame design file please reply sir

Use the naza m lite FC you will never hve flip over problems😊

So cool 😎
Hey how do I inquire about a purchase?
Is it possible to contact you ? I have some questions. As i am looking to build my own drone as well.
Would you sale a kit?
Can I put M2 Browning on it?
Can u share the 3d file please, id like to build it

I think gps should place height than flight controller
HOW MUCH IS THE BUILD
About 1000 USD excluding radio and DJI goggles. If you have a 3D printer you can shave about 200 dollers off.

Kasper! interesting ,📽
Thanks!
Hi grate build.
How much does the whole thing weigh?
Hi Josh
Total flying weight is 2850 gram. Where the batteri is 750 gram of that

@@kaspersorensen sick man! thats quite a bargain for a drone with such great utility. nice work
Have you tested its payload yet ?!
I have not done any max test, but it easily lifts 2,2 kg.
@@kaspersorensenDo you mean 2.2 KG ?
maby some cushoning in the legs but great video and great build, and he I am just a backseat driver ha

I want to start a business so that why i need drone
If you buy a drone at the beginning its easier to start
How long can it fly
