Do you know where I can find the same exact drone that Sean Kingston had. That carry up to 500 lbs and it was only 85k ?? Or do you know where I can find a drone like this for under 100k and holds up to 500lbs

The $250,000 cost of the Guardian is because it's intended to carry humans, therefore it must be made using aerospace-grade parts. You can buy hobby-grade parts and motors and assemble a drone with enough lifting capacity to carry a human for much less than that. But you would be insane to actually ride it. Because hobby-grade parts fail, _a lot._ Aerospace grade parts have to be reliable enough that you can have more than a million of them in the field, and the failure rate is in single digits. This drives the cost way up, and you end up with a quarter million dollar drone.
the griff aviation guardian is used for State-of-the-art payloads can be ordered that have been specifically designed for the Armed Forces, Law Enforcement, Fire Service and Search And Rescue teams. GRIFF Aviation also offers specialist payloads for tasks such as wind-turbine maintenance, as well as heavy-load cargo missions.
I wonder where you can find parts for them if you wanted to DiY your own, the typical drone parts are underperforming for what some of us want when we decide on a project.
The heavy lifter at the end... I can see the military companies putting together a promotional film showing a fully loaded out soldier hanging under this in an upright position, suspended by a couple of thin cables, being dropped into a deployment directly, instead of riding a helicopter.... then we pull back and see that there are hundreds, or thousands of them all coming down and being dropped off like that. Sounds like the next insane stunt Tom Cruise can do for an upcoming movie.
Cool concept but at that point the number you’d need to achieve that you’d be better off doing a helicopter assault. The only thing I can see along your line of thinking would be more of a stealthy drop of a spec ops team
