I’m on day 4 after surgery and still can’t believe my teeth look so good. Dr. Roberts is a master at what he does and this has been the best investment in myself I have ever made. Thank you Smile Clinic for giving me a new lease on life!
So glad to hear it! Dr. Roberts certainly is fantastic and does incredible work. I love that you said it is an investment in yourself, because it really is. Thanks for your comment!
@@karenmatthews2881 it’s a different price for each individual that depends on many factors. They have financing options available to choose from. Typically though it’s the price of a new car, a nice new car like Lexus price. I can honestly say though that it was totally worth it for me as I now have my finals in and I get so many compliments on how nice my teeth look but more importantly how great they work when eating food.
How do you clean under the bridge? Is brushing, mouthwash and water floss enough? Also, can you do this in stages If you have good front teeth and bad molors, you could do 2 bridges for the molors (on 4) and the front teeth later on (on 2)? Last question, what if someone has gum issues, is this still a viable option?
Great questions. (1) Yes, brushing and flossing (along with standard dental cleanings) is enough to maintain the health of a 3 on 6™ smile. (2) Yes, you can do this in stages, but your doctor will likely recommend doing it together so that the implants aren't affected by issues (ie, infection) in other areas of the mouth. (3) Yes, if you have periodontal disease or other problems, you are still a candidate. When the teeth are pulled the gum disease goes away and we make sure each patient is ready and healthy to receive implants before placing them.
I have a few questions for ya. I’m not at that point yet, but I foresee I’ll be looking to get your 3on6 in the future. I like this option much more than the Allon4 for obvious reasons. I’m looking at extraction of #19 soon and want to do bone grafting with implant. Two dentists are offering to do it. The more expensive used Straumann vs the other that uses Nobel Active. My questions for 5:345:45 you are, any preference between the 2? The Straumann is much more expensive. Also, if I go through this now, could you use or work around this implant to do the 3on6? If you could answer, it’d be great. Thanks
It's very difficult to give specific clinical advice without seeing a patient in office. Both implant manufacturers you listed are reputable. We can often use a patient's existing implants with a 3 on 6 case, but it really depends on where it was placed and how healthy the implant is.
Also, it seems people getting your 3on6 walk out WITH their new teeth right away which seems AWESOME! How is that possible when I’m being told my one implant will take 3 months to heal before putting in the abutment and crown?
Patients get a new set of teeth their day of surgery, but these will not be their final teeth. The patient will be on a soft food diet for about 3 months while the implant heals, but they will have that temporary set of teeth so they can smile and feel confident during this time. Then after that 3 month period they will receive their final set of zirconia teeth.

My poor mother go to the dentist just to have her lower denture that was a little loose fixed. Then the dentist persuaded her to have two implants in her lower jaw. And she asked him if the implants could be removed if she wanted for some reason to have them removed. But after she agreed to the implants she regretted having them. But now the dentist said that it is not possible to get them out. She wished she never had said yes to have implants.

Unlike most dental offices, we do offer warranties. However, being eligible for the warranty depends on some factors which does also include personal hygiene and habits. If a patient doesn't follow the guidelines, their dental work is no longer under warranty. You can read more about it here: www.utahsmileclinic.com/guarantee. Usually using tobacco products will make someone ineligible for a warranty.
