As an Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahdo Christian, I thank you brother. Coz so may times my African brothers think that Christianity come with the colonial power to our continent. Just to add a story
Did you know at Ethio Italian war, the Italian killed Ethiopian Monks, Bishops and believers because they opposed the colonial Italia. Europeans didn't come with Christianity to the horn of Africa, they try to end it. I encourage all Africans to study about the Copts(Egyptian), Nubian and Ethiopian Christianity to know more about our true Christian background.

Why are Black-Americans and Black-Caribbeans so obsessed with Habeshas [(G) ሐበሠተ (A) ሐበሻ] especially when that region of Africa has nothing to do with Blacks in the Americas who came form the Guinean Cost (i.e. West Africa). Did Haile Selassie I (ዓፄ ፡ ኃይለ ፡ ሥላሴ) under his Ethiopian World Federation (ኢትዮጵያዊ ዓለም ፌዴሬሽን) initiative dedicate the Oromo city of Shashamannee (ሻሸመኔ) to Black-Americans as a gift for their intervention in favour of the Ethiopian royal family during WWII? Yes 💯. But do Habeshas still call non-Habesha Blacks shanqella (ሻንቅላ) which roughly translate to burrhead❓Yes 💯.
The whole narrative that the country today known as Ethiopia 🇪🇹 was never colonized is false and problematic. Let’s speak on it👂🏽First of all, the word Aethiopia (Αἰθιοπία) is Greek to denote the land of burnt-faced people in the upper region of Nile who were Nilotic people. The Habesha race did not exist. Meroë was the capital which was at the southern bend of the river Gihon [נָהָר גִּיחוֹן (i.e. the Nile)] in today’s Sudan 🇸🇩
But being that that region of Black-Africa is at the furthest peripherals of the Black race on the brink of other racial nation, wars and mixing were bound to happen. You have the Coptic nation and Arameans to the north. You had seafaring Persians that established Mogadishu. You had Persians and Arabian tribes trafficking and enslaving people in Zanzibar, Mogadishu and up and down the Swahili coastline (الساحل ). You even had the eunuch ZHÈNG, Hé (鄭和) that came to Pate Island. So, the land of Axum (መንግሥተ አኵስም) was pillaged and brought under the fold of the Arabian Sabaeans(𐩪𐩨𐩱) and Himyarite (𐩢𐩣𐩺𐩧𐩣). That my people, is what you call being colonized. The Ge'ez script (⇒ግዕዝ / 𐩴𐩲𐩸⇐) for heaven sakes is transformed from Sabaean, South Arabian script called Musnad (𐩣𐩯𐩬𐩵 ⇐).
But, let’s fast forward when Italians came on to the scene. The Amhara people have been oppressive towards Oromo, Somali (Ogaden) and all the 50+ ethnic groups they marginalize to the SNNPR (e.g. the people from the Mursi, Dorze and Karo nations). They have forgotten their history of being invaded and oppressed but held on to the attitude of being superior because of their hair texture and skin complexion. They treat shanqella [ሻንቅላ (burrheads)] w/ low regards while they aspire to be Ashkenazi or Arab. This is what started the whole clash between the Tutsi in Rwanda 🇷🇼 who are Habeshas like the Amharas in Ethiopia. They looked down on the Hutus who are unadulteratedly Black ✊🏿 The Belgiums left the Tutsi the gov’t and the Hutus as their labourers - pretty much a caste system based on race. This was only reinforced when Tutsi begain to discriminate against the Hutus in employment, gov't and marriages. Wealth stayed with the Tutsis. Black-American are too simplistic in their love for Habeshas. I feel it is in part due to Black-Americans needing to grab on to any history that shows victory but also in part because Black-Americans also have been beaten to believe that unadulterated Black phenotypes are ugly and so Habeshas for them are worth praising.

Dr. Vince Bantu Gratulations without the prefix Con on the Topics instead of Sub-jects you do share with us all.
As a Wordologist, Bibliologist and Bible Detective, I have been reading, and decoding the King Jane's 1611 English published Bible, of whom he authorized 47 freemasons to translate not Transliterate previous Bibles and scriptures.
As a Bibliologist and Bible Detective, I do detect most alleged Zionist Christian Bible scholars do not teach the KJV Bible of the Kwan-kwa-och or High Frequency, An'cient languages as Aramaic, Everett they call Hebrew, Sumerian, Akkadian Gilgamesh Languages.
Disfortunately, most people especially Christians do not know the etymology of God, Lord, Jesus, Christ, Amen 🙏, Immanuel.
How do you say God in Arabic? How do you say Jesus in Hebrew? How do you say Amen 🙏 in Arabic, Hebrew, Mandarin, Latin, Greek, Aramaic?
What's the linguistical difference Immanuel, Emmanuel, G'juss, Jesus?
What's the etymological difference KREATHER, Creator?
What's the etymological difference Truth and Fact?
What's the etymological difference Make and set?
Is English an alleged language or an international dialect?
Why in the Gospels Matthew Mark Luke John we do NOT see the pagan word Christian?
Why we do NOT read that Khrist the AMEN 🙏 (Matthew 6:13; Revelation 3:14) the True and Faithfull Witness said in His own words, that his name is Caesar, Herod or Jesus Christ?
Disfortunately, most people do NOT know the demonic word god or God is not an English word originally. The British English borrowed it from the Dutch Germanic pagan gentile tribes.
Googletionary states there are 7,000 languages spoken in the World 🌎🌍. How many dialects or languages use the word God?
Answer: Only 2 dialects or languages use the word God, which is Dutch of the Netherlands Holland and England UK.
What is the etymology of the word God,?
According to Ancient Dutch Germanic pagan, gentile, European God means material fortune or wealth 🤑💵💲💰💎💍 🪙. God is the abbreviation of a cast down angel name of arrogance, jealousy, Pride of Vanity.
G.O.D. as an acronym means Gold Oil Dollar$ 💵💸 🤑💰.
Is NOT by coincidence that the alleged Greatest Country in the World 🌎🌍 is The USA, has on it's Currency, "IN GOD WE TRUST".
Note, it is not written "In The Creator We Trust".
If Jesus they do not pronounce as Jes-us but G'juss, is God.
Therefore, AMEN 🙏 the Khrist is the Sun of Righteousness (Malachi 4:2).

Emperor Atsbeha Ezana (brother of Abreha) had become Emperor of Aksum and both brothers were taught Syrian-Roman Christianity by Abba Selama (Frumentius). Ezana proclaimed Tewahedo as the official faith (Haymanot). This started a civil war with the Beta Israel for 1,700 years until the time of Emperor Susenyos II.
