Written recipe: THE SAUCE 1/4 cup chicken 1/4 cup soy 1 tbsp honey 1tsp sesame oil 1 tsp rice vinegar 1tbsp corn starch or air root powder VEGGIES 1 red bell in thin strips 1 small/ med carrots 2 cups broccoli 1 small onion 1 tbsp fine grated ginger 4 minced garlic cloves 1 lb or 2 breasts boneless chicken breast
I grew up eating boxed macaroni, hamburger helper, pizza, and grilled cheese sandwiches. My mom is a wonderful mom but was too busy with outside work to cook much. Thank you for all your videos. They are so helpful as I work to a healthier lifestyle.
What I love about this is how easy and delicious the sauce is. It’s such a great way to use up whatever leftover vegetables I have in the fridge. I’ve tried with a few, but my favorites are still the bell peppers w the broccoli. I also add in some cashews and it’s super yummy.
I just finished making your recipe... and jeez does it look delicious! Your meal prep always look exactely the same as what they are IRL, they are healthy, easy to follow and gluten free. You deserve so much love for that!
I made this for dinner tonight. I had everything except carrots so I used some mushrooms I needed to use up instead. Omg, so good. The sauce is everything. I'm definitely keeping this in my go to dinner ideas during the week. ❤
I tried this recipe last night for the second time and each time it tastes different and better. The first time I made it without the Sherry and with chicken thighs and frozen broccoli. This time I made it with the sherry, chicken breast and fresh broccoli. I loved each one and I think I personally prefer it with sherry, chicken thighs, and fresh broccoli. My picky eaters also enjoyed it. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. 🥰
Looks great. Thanks for posting. Just wanted to add one note. Most sites recommend that you don't cut meat on a wooden cutting board because they are difficult to disinfect. Just saying. Thanks again. I will definitely be cutting this in my new wok.
Made this last night and it was great. Made a few small changes--*not* because I thought the recipe needed it but because my kids are somehow allergic to FLAVOR; reduced the garlic and ginger, was generous with the honey. It was still delicious. Used cornstarch because I didn't have arrowroot and nobody in the household is sensitive to corn, worked just the same.
I made this today, and though I didn't have some ingredients for the sauce, I managed to change for other ingredients in the house and it came out so good! I follow you from South America and I love your videos, the way you explain is so clear and peaceful, and I have learn so much with your videos, I always share them. Many blessings from Chile (the country lol)
I'm so glad to hear this recipe still turned out okay even though you were missing a few ingredients Ada! And thanks so much for being a Downshifter here ❤️
Thanks for the recipe. The first time I tried this from a different recipe I didn't restir the sauce and saw the buildup at the bottom after it was done so good tip there.
Made this for family yesterday. Trying to feed family healthier choices; especially when I've been diagnosed with a few different inflammation disease. They loved it! Thank you for another great recipe! Cheryl
This recipe was really good. I used the sherry recommended, used corn starch instead of arrow root powder, and used dry ginger. Really good. Everyone in the house from 4yo to 87yo enjoyed it. I even snuck in cauliflower rice and they loved it. Thanks for sharing.
I've been watching your videos for a while and they are amazingly done, very well informative and easy to follow. Besides, you speak so clear! You earned a new subscriber 😊.
Loved it! I have avoided sugar for a long time, so I don’t have a sweet tooth anymore. I eliminated the honey and halved the tamari. Thank you for a new staple recipe. I have been eating much like this for years. Unfortunately, I have to reduce the “calorie” value (I don’t count calories) and, as such, have to be more judicious with high fat, high carb foods. Although not celiac, I am affected by one of the other 698 allergens in wheat and so, have been gluten free for many years. I consider my diagnosis a life changer. Over my phases of change, I have become happier, more energetic and 96 lbs lighter! Thanks for the renewd motivation and exploration.
Greate Job Lisa you have one of the best channels in my opinion, in my free time I like to cook and if I'm being honest here I have cooked every single recipe you have made so far including the grilled corn. Keep up the fabulous work I wish you all the best ;)!!
Love this version of the chicken stir fry 😍. I make this all the time and will definitely switch to your sauce and method. It looks delicious 😋, as always 😉
WOW!! A GREAT FLAVOR PROFILES,IVE BEEN LOOKING AT BEEF IN ASIAN COOKING AND THEY SLICE BEEF VERY THIN AND THEY DONT EAT IT EVERYDAY I COULD CHANGE THE PROTEIN EACH WEEK SHRIMP,CHICKEN AND BEEF AND THEN MEATLESS IT LOOKS THAT GOOD !! THANK YOU 🔥✌🏾👍🏾🙏🏾
A perfect recipe for having guests, as it is full of zingy flavour that everyone will love I'll make it in a few days for a friend coming for lunch. Thanks Lisa
Made this tonight with a friend I haven't seen in seven-ish years! We didn't have broth or a thickener so made aqua fava instead, great! A sun-dried chili pepper added just the right amount of spice too. Also, used Bragg's coconut nectar and red win vinegar in lieu, excellent. We were please with the outcome...thanks for the inspiration tonight!
It's been a while since I've seen you ñr videos, they weren't showing on my recommendation. I leave a like and a comment to contribute for the algorithm.
I love your videos so much! Everything I have made from your blog has been absolutely incredible! Bonus, my kids love the recipes too! Thank you so much, can't wait for your cookbook! ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Lisa, this is an amazing recipe. I figured out how I got it all wrong with my so-called "stir-fried" chicken. My broccolis always ended up mushy. Thank you for all of this.
That sauce sounds perfect for me. I am on a bit of a restricted diet due to GI issues, but I can eat everything in this recipe. And, I love stir-fry meals. Thanks Lisa!
Big thanks for such an amazing and super easy recipe! I cooked that dish today, but I replaced carrot with mushrooms. It tastes so good! Chicken is juicy, vegies are crunchy. What elese I can wish for? But for the next time I won't add ginger cause I don't really like how it tastes. And maybe I'll replace soy sauce with teriayaki for the next time. Glad I found your channel. Wish you all the best!
Yum looks delicious i am making this soon can i use vegetable broth mushrooms as am a vegan can i skip red bell pepper as am not a big fan of it perfect for my after office meals love your recipes making me hungry Thanks Ramya
Do you use the same cutting board to cut both your veggies and chicken? If so, how do you sanitize your wooden cutting board after cutting your chicken?
Hi and thanks for this recipe. Do you have a recipe for beef stir fry? Is it possible to use this sauce ingredients for beef? I mean I don’t know if chicken broth goes with beef?
You can't go wrong with an easy, healthy chicken stir fry! You can also get creative swapping up the veggies, so have fun with it. :) Enjoy!
I was always wondering about the huge onions😂😂i am making it tomorrow although I know it will be perrrfect as usual👏🏻❤️
Hi, I made this stir fry today for lunch. It was great. Have enough rice and stir fry leftover for another meal. Thanks
Me too!
Miss chef you should have added that grated Ginger and garlic first before adding the veggies 😬
I made this today and realized that I didn't have anymore broccoli but it was still great! There were no leftovers lol

That looks sooooo good. I have a garden that I can harvest bell pepper, carrots, and onions from. I think it'll go great.
Fresh produce will make this recipe taste even better!

I made this today and served it over quinoa. It tasted so delicious and healthy! Best stir fry ever :)
Awesome! Glad this was a winner for dinner 😉
I used apple cider vinegar because I didn't have rice wine vinegar and a mix of white and dark chicken. So good! Will definitely make again

Broccoli are the best part of stir-fry's because they're like little flavor mops for the delicious sauce! 😋
Wow that's looking very delicious. I love stir fry chicken and vegetables. You cooked a delicious and healthy food.
I tried this tonight. It didn't look as lovely as yours but I so enjoyed it!

THANK YOU SO MUCH. THAT CHICKEN STIRFRY LOOKS SO GOOD.
This actually looks nice and easy to make
Thank you so much for the recipe 😘 I appreciate. Du bist toll!.
You could use the stem of the Broccoli as well 👍🏻 just remove the skin part with a knife and cut the rest into smaller bits to reduce green waste 😊
Great idea Claudia! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, that's one of my favorite bits to add to a soup or sliver into an omelet, too.
Great!!
Made this tonight with a friend I haven't seen in seven-ish years!

Hi Lisa, this is an amazing recipe. I figured out how I got it all wrong with my so-called "stir-fried" chicken. My broccolis always ended up mushy. Thank you for all of this.
Ah, yes! That used to happen to me as well. The trick is removing the chicken then adding it back in. ;) Hope you enjoy this one, Alain!

JUST want to say that was amazing thank you thank you
Made this tonight. Very good!
I prefer adding Ginger Julienne in the end, it keeps Garlic flavor not mixed up with ginger and gives that separate Hotness of Ginger for the food.
Can you tell me how you clean your wooden cutting board since you use it for both meat and chicken.
She shouldn't be using it for both, no matter how she cleans it. Hello Salmonella?!!
Looks scrumptious-I can almost smell it😋
Enjoy 😊
Love your recipes!!! Thank you!
You are so welcome! Hope you love this recipe 😊
How come the garlic and ginger was not added to the oil before the vegetables?
