Amazing app, can't wait to test it out. But with all seriousness, I couldn't hold back my laughter at 9:27 when I noticed the project Dark Muffnutt I was also heavily distracted by your right middlefinger's skin sticking out, oh my gosh you need to clip those off mate
Thanks Jay - Yes, that name followed an office discussion around what a muffin / donut hybrid might look like 😂 And yes I only noticed the finger after I filmed. Dehydration apparently is a cause, or more likely eczema. I don't normally film my fingers so close up, so apoligies for the distraction - I'll take better care of them in the future!
PC/Android user here, but at least I'm (re)discovering some nice Core Library stuff with those Note videos, like those funky congas in that Vibrance Kit. Thanks for the video!
kinda...i will admit the limited scale is forcing me to practice some chord shapes i wasn't as familiar with in chromatic mode. (in guitar we would call them pattern 1 or C-shaped chords and pattern 3 (G shape)) where usually i use patterns 2 (A) and 3 (E) for much of my push playing. i really hope they add an option that gives you 64 pads. i realize that if i want 64 pads i can just play the push but i don't necessarily bring my push to work... my iPad and phone however are a different story. would also be dope to have the ability to use another device as an additional display/control surface for note. if i could use my phone for session mode and my ipad for note input omg this app would put all others on notice
A good application I find, I have already done some interesting things like personal projects and remakes but the application remains to be improved, otherwise I wonder how to import samples of Ableton Live via Ableton Note ? Using Ableton Cloud ? IDK…
i just switched back to iOS from android because there's no way to standardize apps across the android platform, too many wildly different combinations of hardware and software to adequately squash bugs, plus the inherent latency of android phones is demonstrable and crazy making. i really wanted to love my android and hate on apple but the experiences of producing both content and music on android were nightmare fuel, too many extra steps, often had to split video files from audio and adjust for sync, even with arguably one of the best phones available (at the time) - a galaxy s20 ultra. credit where due, say what you want, having none of these problems on ios.
android is really the wrong platform for music apps, you will have a way better time with ipad and iphone, thats just a given and no sign to change ever
Ha, yes I only noticed after I filmed. Dehydration apparently is a cause, or more likely eczema. I don't normally film my fingers so close up 😂 I'll look after them better from now on
@@tripleeight5608 you can manually slice whatever you want by zooming in on the waveform in drum rack or sampler but theres no auto slice, manage your expectations, its a 6 dollar app, not a 600 dollar software suite
@@davemakesnoises ever heard about Koala Sampler... Its a cheap app too, but you can expect a lot from it. That being said i know its supposed to just be a note app

@@skioakenfull haha and also thank you for the amazing walkthrough! Much love obliged
Can you drag and drop loops from splice app into Ableton note app ?

They released it on Android too?
#ANDROIDLIVESMATTER
bought it but they should implement a step sequencer. makes the workflow much faster laying down a beat
Love it! Basically Push but using an iPhone.

Cool, would be intersting with a follow up in Ableton?
Great video!

6:49 phew i thought it allowed only three channels 🎉
cool!
I find very cool, but How to produce in 3/4, 5/4?
i would imagine this would be somewhere in the pipeline
I just shared this vid on my Facebook it’s a neat program for ideas.
iPad M2 chip here I come…
Love it but need an android version.

Sorry to notice. Ha! Mad props man. Big fan of everything u do 🙏🏽
No sampling external or internal?
Dead on arrival
@theinvisibleman its not shown once in this video, invisible clown
you can import or record samples straight into sampler
