We just sold our home. Before we put it up for sale I took so much inspiration from your home and used it to stage mine. Our home sold in one day on the market and we have 9 back up offers over asking price. It is a crazy market now, but we had so many people dying over the decor and style. So THANK YOU for your inspiration. I will be putting your cottage look into our new home as well. Its so inviting.
I am in love with your entire color scheme & style! It’s gorgeous. I am currently painting & redecorating. Would you mind sharing the color of your walls, the cabinet above your mantle, and the exact roller shades you have? lol thank you 💗
You’re so pretty🤍 great tips👏🏻🤍👏🏻 I just used drop cloths for my house🤍Love your curtains too🤍 🤍lol:) I iron on a towel too, especially on busy Sunday Mornings 🤪🤍🤍
Great advice. Had a house fire during the Texas Deep Freeze in February. Need to replace all the drapes and found out how expense they are now. Will use IKEA and your advice, Thanks. Hope you are feeling better and over the first trimester stomach issues. I had them too.
Hello. I’m new to your channel and so glad I discovered it. It is so my style and love seeing your home/projects. I also want to order some prints. They are beautiful.💕
Morning Andrea thank you so much for sharing do you know so project with draperies they turned out beautiful! I have been wanting to do that for my living room curtains in my case I do not have an extra pair so I will have to have my husband measure for me. You have a blessed weekend you’re looking beautiful for a new mama again
I like your lamp and also you have a sconce in your entry way I was going to ask you about the other day so I will just do both at the same time!😊 also I plan on getting IKEA curtains too because the are such a good price! Thanks for sharing the process so they will fit just right! Hope baby journey is all going well!!🥰
I love your curtains! I also love the decoy ducks. I have several from my Dad who passed away and did not know what to do with them. Did you just hang them up or did you add a hook onto them? It was difficult to see.
Perfect timing! I was just about to hem my Ikea curtains. I love your black curtain rod and clips and am thinking of switching mine from chrome to black. Since most of my light fixtures are chrome do you think black rods would look okay? I love your decor, you give me so many inspiring ideas. Thank you.
Love the easy hack! I will have to use it on my new curtains. Also, Love your wicker blinds in the living room windows! Where did you get them? and your plaid rug- where is that from? I am looking for the perfect rug, and I think that may be it!
The blinds are from Select Blinds, here is a blog post I wrote on it! www.pineandprospecthome.com/woven-roller-shades-window-covering/ and the rug is from Target, a part of their new collection! I hope this helps!
I didn't realize that Ikea had such nice curtains! I will check it out. What rods did you get? Are they from Ikea too? Thank you! Mu sewing machine is in the cold attic, so ironing in the hem would be great!
Hello Andrea! The curtains are beautiful! When you wash the curtains will the stitch witchery come off? I also love the decoys. They are going upstream! Is your husband a duck hunter? Thanks for the tip on the curtains. (✷‿✷)
Yeah surely that must have been a mistake in the video. If she left 4 extra inches and each fold was 1 inch as she said they would still have been 2 inches too long…
sadly, that stuff does NOT hold up well in the washer. Most no sew tape/glue/whatever just does not stand up to even the most delicate of delicate washes. If I had to say, the Seam a Steam (or however its spelled) 2 works by far the very very best. Steam a Seam 2 will sometimes last a few washes (maybe 2, 3 if you are lucky). But moreover, it is the easiest to use. Your stuff will stay hemmed unless you wash it (if you use that dritz stuff, your hem will fall out faster even sans washer). Lastly, it also gives you a really strong seam you cannot get with any other no sew method out there.

I have the same curtains and love them. Make sure you wash & dry them before cutting, they do shrink quite a bit.
Nice quick hem. I always use a towel underneath, it helps.

I love your curtains! I also love the decoy ducks. I have several from my Dad who passed away and did not know what to do with them. Did you just hang them up or did you add a hook onto them? It was difficult to see.
The curtains are beautiful and so are your shades. May I ask where you got the shades for your windows

Question, you measure then add 4” then fold up twice so do you fold up 2 inches each time? I can’t believe how perfect you got these !!
Will you please post the brand name and type of tape used for this hemming project? I'm looking for take to use for my project. Thank you!

Did the ottoman and chair come from IKEA, cute kitty on ottoman.
Yes they did! www.pineandprospecthome.com/ikea-farlov-chair-review/
I purchased the Ikea curtains, ( love them), but having difficulty finding the curtain rod and clips. Where did you purchase them?
Hello Andrea! The curtains are beautiful! When you wash the curtains will the stitch witchery come off? I also love the decoys. They are going upstream! Is your husband a duck hunter? Thanks for the tip on the curtains. (✷‿✷)
I was wondering the same thing.
No, that has not happened for me. Thank you!!
Where are your bamboo shades from? I like that they look more of a neutral/cooler tan
Would you please share where you found your window shades?

So if you cut leaving four extra inches, each fold was 2 inches?
I wondered the same?

I would love to work with you. I sent you an email, hope to hear from you soon! :)
What am I missing? Did someone take the letter "t" out of the word "curtain" ?
