Lol right? It goes to show how talented Jamie really is. He's once stated that he would listen to and observe when studying for impressions very closely. But in this case he was just casually watching a lot of Chapelle work like the "Chapelle Show" and it naturally got embedded into his memory... not realizing that he absorbed his impression. Lol he was surprised that it even came out.

Well if Stern exposed him than it must be true. Generally closeted gay men don't feel comfortable dressing as women for roles/parts due to extreme homophobia. I really doubt he is. He doesn't appear to be. But, if he is in the closet that would mean there is some kind of struggle he is going through and other celebrities "exposing," someone else's personal struggle for entertainment value is pitiful. If he was barely 30, that would make him a teen a little more than a decade ago in like 2007, which is obviously false. He looked way older than a teen in 2007 and before. And Ray came out in 2004 and he looked old there. He didn't even look like a teen in In Living Color in the 90s.

Some years ago he came back to Terrell to do a small speech/performance for the town and he was the funniest, kindest dude ever.
We turned around and named the street he grew up on after him, renamed the performing arts center he built for us to have his name on it, and gave him a key to the city and he cried.

This interview was probably one of the most fun and interesting I've seen. It's not often I stick around for all the interviews, but this got me hooked in. I haven't seen an interview from Jamie Foxx before, so this was a pleasant surprise!
i'm from new orleans and reeally appreciated the shout out to the second line they did in the intro, since i recognized it immediately but wasn't sure if they were gonna call it by name. turns out the interview starts with that, and they even shouted out the city itself and gave me some of that accent haha. i see you jamie, i see you lol
