@@davidjairala69 I think the original comment is a joke, but...Courtney said in an interview that her and her now husband's time in iwrestledabearonce was really a mess because they were just kinda thrown into the band after touring with them and had like no practice. They didn't even get to enjoy being married because they got married while being in iwrestledabearonce. Spiritbox is something they made together and it's a more mature project that the whole band invests in. I love this side of Courtney, it's mindblowing how much talent she has. I agree with you 😃Of course she wouldn't be where she is now if she hadn't been in iwrestledabearonce.

Dude... IWABO is absolutely fucking phenomenal!!! For being like 10 years old they have progressed so far. You can tell they are better musicians as time has gone on. I'm blown away!

When did IWABO start being serious?
Force Well the band is almost 10 years old... why would you make the same music 100 times?
I think they began this more evolved mature sound with their last record Late for Nothing. I was never really an IWABO fan before because of their silliness and weirdness, which permeated their music entirely and it just wasn't for me. I loved Late for Nothing for the reasons many old IWABO fans may dislike it, but because they became a more grounded, consistently heavy, and little more mature band. They obviously still have some weirdness but it's toned way down and they seem to focus more on the music being heavy and brutal than weird and I dig that a lot.
***** Late for Nothing was my favourite for similar reasons. Everything felt more concise and like actual "songs" rather than blasts of randomness. That stuff is good to me, for me, but I preferred LfN's approach.
Force I dunno, the lyricry of old IWABO was based on Lucid dreams and delved into some pretty serious topics. I wouldn't call this any more serious than their old music really, unless you count the occasional bicycle honk as silly. I feel like this is very comparable, just a little more streamlined metal than their older more out there, old stuff.

tinkoasd this band sounds nothing like Tony Danza tbh. That band was much heavier and had more complicated guitar work than this band. this band has gotten softer ever since Courtney joined them. yeah, they went back a couple steps to how they used to sound with this album but the instruments sound sorta muffled and aren't clean. they still aren't as heavy as old IWABO and nowhere near as heavy as Tony Danza.
To say they sound nothing like Tony Danza is pretty far fetched because of their more "complicated" guitar riffs. Both tap and chug like no other and they're both pretty technical, so take it easy

Jose Bermejo People will never be satisfied and that's just that. I understand and it's hard when you like a band for a certain reason, such as the singer or guitarist or whomever, because they have a certain sound you like. I love Eddie Hermida's growls and screams and I don't know if All Shall Perish's music will sound the same without him. I love the band not only because of the musicianship but Eddie's vocals complement the music so well. But if they come out with a new album and a new singer and I don't like how they sound, I'm not gonna say the new singer sucks and wish they would break up. I'll just accept it and listen to their cds that I do like

I like this album cuz it's heavy as shit with all the random-sounding tapping sections and chugging. I liked IWABO with Krysta and I still like them with Courtney, I just wish the vides focused on the entire band and their weird, hilarious humor rather than only Courtney's obvious sex appeal.

Andy Lichtenstein As someone only recently discovering IWABO there is a certain objectivity that can be brought to their overall output.
However, can't define that opinion right now due to input of beer, but suffice to say, i also like what they did with Krysta, but IMO Courtney has filled her shoes most admirably.
Maybe the changes in lineup herald a new direction, but no bad thing to evolve musically.
As for the vid focusing on Courtney, some might see it as passe, but the fact remains that you can hear that the guys are killing it instrumentally, and for me seeing Courtney in all her glory merely enhances the experience.
God, that end part contrasts so hard with the rest of the song, gives me naughty shivers! :)
