Just to vent. I discovered IWABO during the pandemic, 2 years ago through youtube suggestions after watching a Spiritbox video. I liked their 'Hail Mary' album and started to dig their material ever since. And man, I totally fell in love with their first two albums, mostly the 'It's All Happening' album. Some may disagree with me, but this s*** is prog AF! This album IMO is a total masterpiece. And Krysta? She's the best, now one of my all time fave vocalist, may it be studio or live, may it be clean, scream, or growl. Problem is, I cannot see them live. It is a frustrating experience to fall in love with a band you are recently listening to, only to discover that you will never ever seem them live. So now, I'm stuck checking their materials in the net, like Rickshaw's vlog, Krysta's new band. But that's alright, and that's life. Thanks IWABO for the music.
So glad I got to catch them twice with Krysta. Spiritbox and Empyrean Lights are good, but holy fuck this band with Krysta was just pure chaos and were so much fun to get into the pit to.
I got to see IWABO a few times over a decade ago, and was even there for the It's All Happening release party in New Orleans. They were incredibly popular here. The singer got hit in the face accidentally when someone went to stage dive, but they continued playing after she called her mom. When I met her after, she gave me a huge hug even though I was drenched in sweat. I don't even remember what I said that made her hug me. Legendary show, though. Horse the Band was amazing, also.
SuperUnicornFace awww man you for real that sucks there super awesome and talented i hate when great music and bands break up and than there is more crap music on the radio for us to listen to man i love her voice it is enchanting
This was one of my favorite metal albums in '09. Been a while since I revisited this album, but 15 years later and I remember how impressed I was with how ahead of their time they were. That sound of theirs was monumental for me. Super creative and some if the freshest ideas I'd heard back then.
I was at the show , it was at Green Street in Greensboro NC more then a decade ago. Krysta punched a dude in the face who tried too run on stage from the crowd , it was a great show I'll never forget it.
When this came out in the mid late 2000s I told my work mates about this band, I guess a couple of em became fans. Great unique band, talk about being ahead of its time
Krysta was the heart and soul of the band but I don’t hold her departure against her. Being a parent is the most hardcore thing anyone could do. Rock on babe!
Who would've known? To the lips of a failed writer To crash a cup of wine To throw a toast to an island that's slowly sinking I can almost hear you Hear you crying Momma you are killing yourself Momma what can I do? And I'll be the one putting pins into my fingertips Only to erase the memories And to laugh when I think what my father did She sits She waits She toasts her prayers Not speaks of them Momma you are killing yourself Momma what can I do? She sits She waits
This was my goto album at work in the shop that drowned out the constant Romantica and Marichi radios battling eachother. IWABO always won.. and my coworkers would headbang and shit. Was pretty rad actually 👍😆🤘
i know that but the key differance is which set of vocal chords the air passes through (either true or false) that is all i was stating, the sound doesnt resinate from the diaphram but the diaphram is needed, it helps give it power or something and takes the pressure away from your vocal chords
This is still my favorite shower song I'm just now finding out there's a new vocalist I'ma check it out but I love you Krysta! At this current moment I'm devastated.
2024
I fucking love this band
Hell yeah!!! Iwabo was and still is amaaaaaazing!!!!!
Fr they will always be one of the best
Celebrating my 33rd birthday. Iwrestledabearonce playing all thru the night. Love you guys.
can't understand why so much people don't like this ... this is an amazing piece of music.

For what it's worth mate. they were fucking tight live with Krysta
I will never get over her singing. I miss Krysta.
Amen brother. I miss her so fucking much! Love!
dank yoongi it's generic as fuuuuuuck. But it's still cool.
10 years later and Krysta is still one-of-a-kind. The 🐐.
How can such a comedic band have such an emotional impact?
i like the new stuff but Krystas haunting voice can never be replaced......
youre so right :'(
You Stoner. Why did she leave the band ?
well now the whole band broke up
SuperUnicornFace awww man you for real that sucks there super awesome and talented i hate when great music and bands break up and than there is more crap music on the radio for us to listen to man i love her voice it is enchanting
JASON B I knowwww. I was so upset tbh
I love this band more than words can describe, new music, old music, it's all good.

FUCK YEAH
She is the best!
IWABO will never be the same
69 XD
2024 still in love with her
Old person here ,saw them in 2010, she was epic live.
Those whole nine years. So old.
Saw them in ATL on that tour with The Chariot. That show was unfuckingbelievable.
They are still amazing . Iwabo 4 lyfe
@@-redacted_by_youtube she was in a furby suit when I had seen them 2011, fun set!
Dude I saw them at Warped Tour! In Idaho
This band was ahead of its time. Iconic and mind-blowing. I can only imagine the paths they paved for current acts like Spiritbox and Jinjer
Krysta is so special. Single vocalist. Destroying screams and cleans. Empyrean lights is her latest project. It’s beautiful.
2024 going strong still?
I'm here for it lol.
always
We still jammin
I’m somewhere in the back of this video ha. It was filmed at Greene St. Club in Greensboro, North Carolina
This was one of my favorite metal albums in '09.

2023 indeed
@@gibberishface literally introduced a good friend to this song yesterday
2024 :)
As much as this will be missed, their newest album is still epic and if you haven't given Courtney a chance, you should.
Agreed, too.
.
that bitch blows
dontre hill How?
ZayneThyler wait what, the original singer left? why? These guys were great with her!
She had so much range in her voice. I miss this band
I saw Krysta the band open for Otep down in Pensacola several years back. Hell of a live show, they are fucking insane!
How is her throat not bleeding inbetween songs? BRAVO! I love this band so much!
Always has been one of my favorite songs. She's got an immense amount of talent, I love it!
IWABO and Exotic Animal Petting Zoo were on constant repeat back in the day. Both bands deserved so much more notoriety.
0:43 is such an aggressive yet melodic drop
You know this is more than emotional and I feel it to the core.
To the metalcore?
Still pop in to enjoy kristas voice every now and again 🤘
When this came out in the mid late 2000s I told my work mates about this band, I guess a couple of em became fans. Great unique band, talk about being ahead of its time
Love Krysta and the whole band vibe here, shame they had to split. Bands likes this are almost non-existent these days.
Pasan los años y no deja de emocionarme esta canción, es dulce y agresiva a la vez waaa :') ❤
Favorite song off the album. Love this!
they dont make music like this anymore, this was/still is my favorite song by them
Krysta was the heart and soul of the band but I don’t hold her departure against her. Being a parent is the most hardcore thing anyone could do. Rock on babe!
2023 still rockin it 🔥🔥🔥🔥
When the song came out I only cared for the intro. 2017... still here for that intro boiiii
I keep coming back nothing is better than this
Who would've known?
To the lips of a failed writer
To crash a cup of wine
To throw a toast to an island that's slowly sinking
I can almost hear you
Hear you crying
Momma you are killing yourself
Momma what can I do?
And I'll be the one putting pins into my fingertips
Only to erase the memories
And to laugh when I think what my father did
She sits
She waits
She toasts her prayers
Not speaks of them
Momma you are killing yourself
Momma what can I do?
She sits
She waits
Favorite singer of all time 💖
She has the voice of a archangel or something yo
& The guitars go so crazy
Lyrics hit deeper than the pacific ocean 🌊
Ah, I love Krysta's voice.
This band is still the cats pajamas 🤘 we need a Iwabo reunion tour
"Describe moshing to IWABO?"
"Yes"
"It's kinda like being on drugs"
Love random videos. This right here is fucking genius.
Rediscovering this awesome song after finding Spiritbox.
Love her melodidic voice. I hope I hear something similar when I die
Thanks Krystas, Spiritbox came from this

2:30 always gives me goosebumps awsome band :o
Dude, I know the feels. This is my fav song by them just cause of that reason.
i wish they had more songs like this
This is more focused on clean vocals and the screams add an effect. This one is straight up melodic metalcore.
this is the best song in the world
idc if this isnt their heaviest song its my favorite and will remain giving me goosebumps until the day i die i suppose :)
This is perfect. Thank you.
The song totally goes straight to my heart thank you
Masterpiece of a song

This is my favorite iwabo track
her clean vocals r hypnotic
This was my goto album at work in the shop that drowned out the constant Romantica and Marichi radios battling eachother. IWABO always won.. and my coworkers would headbang and shit. Was pretty rad actually 👍😆🤘

Damn, i'm in love with this intro
The best version of iwabo i wish i could go back 😭😭
still love... can`t find anything same. best of da best!
Hope you all tour again, Miss seeing you guys perform live
this is pure genius
her voice makes my eyes water and gives me the chills
This band was ahead of it's band. I miss them so much
I love how the guitarist just flails his guitar around during the calm parts.
Am i the only one that finds a similarity between the intro and the song hyper-ballad by Björk?
It truly is the cat's pajamas 🤗
i miss you krysta
2:20 onward gives me chills, every time. Works so well!
This is still my favorite shower song I'm just now finding out there's a new vocalist I'ma check it out but I love you Krysta! At this current moment I'm devastated.
Playing with them April 25th super excited!
Krysta is pissed, I love it.
I'll throw down to Iwabo till the day I die
PURE ART!!!!
Yes Sir!
There is so much unseen talent in this band and it is saddening to see all the hate towards them, but I love them!
IWABO is just awesome!
One of the best songs i ever hear!!
This chick is the best singer/screamer that has ever been. I doubt anyone can top her, but if they do they're gonna be fucking amazing as well.
@Century Media Records, yo where is your iwabo playlist?!?! Didn't see one on your page which is bunk af.
iwabo is dead without that voice as far as I'm concerned great musicians no doubt but her voice was the glue :(
Minha adolescência 💞
