As a diehard IWABO fan, it’s so nice to see people pass by up to this day and have their eyes opened by this band!
I feel so bad cause I really did not like this band back in the day but I absolutely love spiritbox now. And upon learning that they were originally in this band, I've come back to find I actually do like all these songs. Maybe they were just ahead of their time. definitely ahead of my musical tastes that's for sure lol
I heard about iwrestledabearonce back then. I saw them on alot of bills. But I didn't get into their catalog until I heard about Spiritbox. That's a fact.

Them and suicide silence that's the year I got really into deathcore I was already a metal head and kinda emo typical millennial lol.
I was already listening to heavy stuff I just wanted to listen to different bands doing the same shit and different things and then everyone became hip hop heads lol now I listen to everything.
My daughter loved this vid. She's 8. Metal bands that don't take themselves too seriously is a great gateway for kids (and adults) to appreciate metal.

I didn't like it that much since I really can't like female singers screaming (yeah, maybe I'm an asshole), but after your comment I'll definitely save this video to show it to my 3 years old daughter. She already likes Arch Enemy ("the blue hair girl"), Nekrogoblin and Belzebubs. I think she will be a metalhead. I'm incredibly happy hahah ...Her mother likes pop music, so I have to do all the job, haha.

I think this band is really under rated.
they have awesome musical ability, and phrasing that seems pretty original. I'm also glad they keep it real and dont immulate that "anger" and "seriousness" that most metal perpetuates.
They are incredible players. Spend almost a decade in orchestra and I can't even step to their time signature.

I guarantee that if Mike and Courtney stayed in this band it would not have ever been as good as Spiritbox is. While I don't think this is bad really, it isn't that good either. Spiritbox is a lot more serious and more musically focused than this band ever were. This band were a singing ship, and were only taking IWABO fans with them.

Metal is a genre that definitely requires a developed taste.

I remember when this was posted, and I might not listen to it religiously, but it's definitely one of those songs I find myself listening to every year. Definitely one of the most profounding songs that affected my life. I never thought to say thank you in the past, but thank you for this.
