  • Celery is the crunch in your tuna salad, the log in your ants on a log, and an anti-inflammatory, low-calorie veggie that's high in antioxidants. But if your recipes call for just a rib or two, how do you store the rest of the stalk to keep it fresh for weeks to come?

An easier way is to put it in big container, after cleaning & cover it w cold water, and keep in fridge. Container with lid is fine. I’ve got some at all times and it will stay crisp for 6-8 weeks. Seriously. I have some now, I’m still using and it’s been in fridge for about 6 weeks.

What helpful advice! I'm assuming that you change the water every few days. Is that correct?

I blanched the celery and put in the freezer. Never again! When I took it out to use it, I thawed it and it was soggy and like rubber! I couldn't even chop it! Ruined my whole dish!
