    About my hair...
    I have fine, chemical-free hair. Chemical free means no relaxer...no color...no nothing. :) I mainly wear my fine, natural hair in TWIST OUT styles. For me, twist outs are a protective style that have allowed me to retain length while enjoying wearing my hair 'out.'
    I also love for my fine natural hair to have lots of bounce, curls and volume!

    Hey I am over 50 and just found your channel. I am a straight natural and I find that this is the easiest style for me to maintain since I do not like dealing with my hair. I can go as long as 5 weeks after a silk press by putting my hair in one Bantu knot with a silk scrunchi and then tying it down with a a silk wrap scarf. I occasionally put oil on the ends but that’s it !

      Ohh my gosh-- FIVE weeks?! I’m so jealous and in awe 🤗. That’s great! Does your scalp get itchy or dry at all please share your tips because I’ve gone as long as four weeks before, however, I had so much oil in it. It wasn’t really cute anymore. lol.

      @@NaturallyCorporate no my scalp does not get oily nor does my hair and it rarely ever itches. I really could go longer but I figure 5 weeks is long enough and by that time my hair gets a little puffy in the roots. The secret for me is to only apply oil about every 2 weeks to only the ends and never applying additional heat for touch ups, but what you are doing works well for you and I am impressed by the length and health of your hair.

    Thank you! I love your 3rd method. Silk scrunchy with two satin covered sponge rollers, and I have them, so I was doubly excited. Thank you for this tutorial. I'm a gray hair natural, just celebrated my 70th, still salt and pepper and feeling 50 and fabulous. Thank you💕

    Hey Regina! Thanks for sharing your tips on maintaining straight hair. Your hair looked really good after putting in the flexirods; it was boucy and full and really pretty. I wish you the best on finding out where the eye irritaion is coming from. Having irritated eyes is the worst.

    How long do you go between wash days when your hair is flat ironed??
    And once washed will you flat iron it right away again??

    • @NaturallyCorporate
      @NaturallyCorporate  3 дня назад +1

      Hi 👋🏾!! The days I go between flat iron styles really just depends on weather conditions, season and if I’m being a Sweaty Betty. 😆
      Typically about 1 week. My last flat iron lasted 2 wks and 2 days. The only reason I shampooed is b/c of the dandruff.
      Sometimes I flat iron back to back, but only 2 times then I go back to a twist out. I also use a lot of heat protectant.
      Thank you so much for watching!! 🤗🤗🤗

    Hello, I appreciate your video. It was very helpful! I wanted to ask what type of flat iron did you use and what type of products did you use to achieve your silk press. Thanks!

    • @NaturallyCorporate
      @NaturallyCorporate  3 месяца назад

      Hi! The flat iron is by Hot Tools, and I used a leave-in conditioner by Rucker Roots plus 2 different heat protectants - It’s A 10 leave-in and Kenra Blow Dry Spray.
      Thank you so much for watching!
