☺️ you've blessed us with this right at the start of my wash day!! I can't thank you enough for your content I followed your method of brushing gel through for the first time this week, and also using your protective style for sleeping. For the first time in my life I'm completely comfortable with my natural waves and even proud of them. You've given me my dream hair
Absolutely love the way your hair looks. Going to try this styling method. I have this diffuser and would love for you to do a full diffusing video using it.
So pretty as always-Thanks Sophie! When I visit London for the first time, I'm going to take a look for those Aussie products-we don't have them in the US ❤
I’ve also realized recently that I prefer to simply rake/pray hands my gel into my hair instead of brush styling. Takes way less time and my curls are so much fuller! Brush styling makes my hair flat, and, to your point, creates those big curl clumps that I have to go through and manually pull apart which I do not have time for! Convenience over everything and my results are so much better. Would love to see what your favorite one & done stylers are! I tend to skip leave ins because, again, convenience, and I feel like I get better hold when I go in directly with gel and nothing else.
I loved this video. Even though I have a lot less hair than you, it always takes me at least an hour to style and dry it, and it always leaves me with back pain! Thank you for dropping lots of helpful nuggets throughout this video, I'm going to try to implement them into my routine... The one thng I don't do is section my hair when styling, simply because as I brush through, I've hardly got enough hair as I've lost a lot of volume, density and actual curl since becoming ill, five years ago. My hair has never fully recovered, but since I started using your styling method, I definitely saw a huge improvement in definition and less fluff. Is it worth me sectioning my hair to add more volume? I really liked the tip you shared where you layered the lengths of your hair, I'll definitely be trying that! Thank you, Sophie. Even at my age, I've learned so many useful tips from you. I love how you always explain what you do and why. And I think I need that hairdryer! Love it! 💖🫶🏽😊
I would love to see a full difusing video! Also, I have one question: Has your spray bottle ever broken before? I had two, but both started failing and the water wouldn't come out in a spray anymore, just in small droplets, and I'm scared that if I buy another one again, the same issue will happen
I'm curious, does it hold after sleep? because its very time consuming and looks like something I would like to try at the end of the day, and then go to sleep~ Your hair is super pretty btw, mine is half curly half frizzy, whether I brush it or not
To me this doesn‘t look time-saving or effortless at all. 😝I think brush styling in general is just too time consuming and can be quite rough on the hair. I have similar hair texture probably thicker and just put a leave-in conditioner in (especially at the back of my head where the hair tends to frizz up easily) right after the shower and thats it. Letting my hair air-dry has also helped a lot with reducing frizz and having to use less product. Brushing my hair is something i do in the shower.
It probably doesn’t look that way because I’ve naturally stretched it out to explain the process and talk through each step, but it’s simply; brushing cream and gel on soaking wet hair and scrunching. So it definitely is on the lower effort side. This realistically takes me about 4-5 mins maximum, then I diffuse or airdry
