Boy!! It’s about time someone came up with a video about how to use these rulers!!! I had most of the information, but not the measurements!!! GREAT HELP!!! THANKS!!!!!🥰🥰🥰🥰
Oh my goodness. You are a lifesaver. I just bought a ruler and was so confused as to why it started out in alignment and then went wonky mid canvas. I learned so much from this tutorial that will serve to keep me from being stressed and strained. You're so smart❣️ Thanks ever so much❣️❣️
Thank you for explaining how to use these rulers. It was very helpful, it will make it much easier to use them. I too spend a lot of time adjusting the drills so these tools will save me a lot of time.
Thank you for this video! Made me feel way better about what I was doing. I've found I really dislike round diamonds because of the anxiety I get with them not being straight. The ruler helps so much.
I felt the same way! I started doing rounds with the ruler all the time. Now I feel comfortable doing them either with or without. When I find a canvas that does not fit my ruler, I can now do it comfortably without the anxiety because the ruler kind of trained me to place then straighter. Not as perfectly straight as it would be with the ruler, but I'm not constantly straightening rows anymore. Only part of the time instead of all of the time 😂.
Thank you for posting the info. I’ve been trying to figure this out before I purchase any rulers. I hope it’s the same for squares. I will wait to purchase any until I see the square painting video.
Thank you for your video! I’m looking to order one of your rulers. I have measured and on my canvas the 14 mark goes past the far edge 50th drill. So to be clear, that means I need a larger ruler than the 140. Is that correct?
You need to measure 50 spaces from left to right to get the measurement you need. You can find every size available here: drillpenfrenzy.etsy.com/listing/723421622
I challenged by anything measuring, numbers, & mathematical so I’m thankful you were able to figure this out. I’m confused which is frustrating. Would you recommend a small ruler for a beginner trying to get the hang of it? I get anxious at the thought of trying to measure a canvas to figure it out myself, so any advice you can give would be appreciated. Thank you!
Yes, if you are a beginner, the smallest ruler is a great place to start. A lot of people will just buy all of the sizes so they know they will have the correct size for the majority of canvases 😂.
You need to push your ruler up against the last row you placed as far as you can to give a seamless look. I still sometimes get that line if I'm in a rush to place the next section.
@@karenolivier9537 that shouldn't cause a line unless when you do it, it is pulling that last/first row up a bit. Try pushing it toward the other placed drills as you are placing it over the last row to ensure the spacing will be consistent.
How can I order the rulers from you? I’m not having any luck finding these four sizes. According to your directions, I need a 141.5 for my Diamond Art Club kit, SPACE FOR REFLECTION. I really don’t want to mess this up!
I hate that every canvas spacing is different. If anyone sees this and got “voyager” from DAC could you tell me what size you got? (I know it’s a long shot)
@@DPbyDoni I don’t have a ruler at the moment, the closet thing I have is the DAC light pad and it’s in inches and would probably difficult even if it were in cm 😭

Thank you. I understand the rulers better.
Excellent tutorial video! You did an exceptional job explaining how to measure and how to use the ruler. Keep up the excellent work
Starting my first DAC round soon. Thanks so much for a great explanation and demo on how to use the mesh rulers!

I love my round mesh ruler. i did a whole painting with it and it is beautiful. I think it is not difficult to us
The place that a lot of people have difficulty in is finding the correct size ruler for their paintings. I hope this video helps!
Do you have a video that shows you diamond painting using the ruler? I’m interested in seeing the process.
Excellent video! Thank you!!!

This is aweesome! I've always wondered if I should get them since my lines don't start out straight until I go through after and push them in line.

@@woods1066 if you could take a photo of your measuring and send it to me via Etsy, I will be able to see it much better 😊
My painting right now isn't long enough to measure to 14.but im not done watching yet so hopefully she says something about it lol.thank you ❤

@@DPbyDoni thank you!
Hi Doni, I love and use the ruler. My question is how do I keep 'lines' from forming if that makes sense. Thank you in advance!
You need to push your ruler up against the last row you placed as far as you can to give a seamless look. I still sometimes get that line if I'm in a rush to place the next section.
@DPbyDoni thank you, sometimes I have to overlap on the previous row to get it in the grid and that's where I sometimes get that line

I found that if I aim to completely cover the letter/symbol my lines come out straight, I do want to try the ruler though.
How do I purchase the rulers from you?
Thanks for explaining the numbers. I thought maybe it had something to do with how long the ruler was. lol
That's what I'm here for, to help as much as I can 😸

@@ohyeahoh693 yes, not having a ruler would make it quite difficult.
