Hi, I just happen to see your video & thought I'd share that I drop the ruler down a row - rather than lay it over a finished row - & fill in that open row as I go.
I found by dropping a row it allowed me to place the ruler so I could see all of the symbols clearly & still allow the use of the entire ruler!

Those straight drills are 😍😍😍. I haven’t bought one of these yet because all the ones I saw were too short. I will definitely check out the links and get a 141! DAC is the only one I have rounds in. Thanks for sharing!
I use a roller to help me lift the mesh ruler off after drills are down.

These mesh rules come in 2 long sizes 140mm & 141mm. The holes line up different for each one.
This is the best I have seen to using the mesh ruler. Thank you.
I know there are different length sizes for the mesh rulers. Are there different sizes for the holes in them. I have a round one and it’s not matching up with the holes.

And on another note....do you have any idea where I might find that Smart Llama painting, I just LOVE him. I know there were "issues" but he is one of my unicorns. Huacan does not have him anymore and I have searched and searched the web - even Ebay to no avail. If you have any idea at all please toss me a hint :-) Have a very blessed day.

Just wanted to let you know I saw a square ruler on AliExpress...no one has reviewed yet so not sure how it works. I check often.
Wow! Awesome tutorial! You did a great job! Think I may have to try this. I can't believe how much straighter it looks in real life. I always think my diamonds are straight, but wow....yours are much straighter! Thanks for taking the time to do this! Oh, and do you know what size mm this is? Like some rounds are 2.5 and others are 2.8. Do you think it would work for both? I guess I would just have to try it. I have a ton of DAC, so now I know it will work on them!

Great video! you’re very eloquent! So, the edge of the ruler is resting on the plastic cover?
What do you do if the numbers don't line up??? I'v had this happen so i was wondering what to do. Do i need a different ruler or is it just the painting that's not right? HELP PLEASE
Queen it could be two things - 1) you need a different size dot ruler, I'm unsure if you have a 141 or a 140. 2) lay the ruler a different direction - sometimes the dots do not line up horizontally so you need to lay it vertically. How would know what size drills I have. Every painting I have is from Aliexpress. I would love to try this tool

I can imagine its a dead link as it was over 3 years ago and links change - however if you go to amazon and search mesh ruler diamond painting there are dozens that pop up. You will want to verify the size you are looking for. Here's an example: a.co/d/eLQt9zc

Amazon has one for twice the price - I can't remember if its prime shipping.
