When I saw the Galaxy Watch Ultra in person, I assumed it was entirely inspired by Apple's tough wearable. However, it's worth noting that Samsung isn't new to this market. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is the immediate precursor to the Watch Ultra. While the materials and some of the design choices are certainly unusual, Samsung has already attempted to build something comparable.
Using orange for the action button and offering an optional orange watch strap feels quite "on the nose" here. Samsung isn't denying that the Galaxy Watch Ultra has been influenced by the Apple Watch Ultra. The boxy look and revised strap mechanism imply this even more strongly. I am prepared to give Samsung the benefit of the doubt, but calling this a copycat would also be rather accurate. However, despite having a rotating crown on the action button, the Galaxy Watch Ultra cannot control UI components like the Apple Watch Ultra.

The biggest difference is, for buying Samsung watch you need to go to bank, and for Apple watch you need to go to kidney surgeon.
It's not a copy, because Samsung made this model before, years ago. I do agree that Galaxy Watch Ultra is influenced by Apple's version, but not a copy.
Bands are looking similar, can these fit to each other watch ?
Ther’s already some adapters for the galaxy watch ultra bands.
You can use the old bands. You can buy adapters
Samsung had a Smart watch long before Apple. However, the point is that if you are in the Apple eco system, you will buy an Apple Watch, and if you are in Samsung, then there is no choice other than Galaxy Watch.
If you use an apple smartphone get the apple ultra. If you are part of the android ecosystem especially a samsung, go for the samsung ultra.
If you are on a tighter budget, just get the basic version. For samsung it is the galaxy 7. It has the same biosensor as the ultra. Sure it misses some of the premium build and extras, but should be fine for most people and cost half the price.
Samsung didn't copy Apple for the design of the Ultra watch. The copied actual watch makers.... which I am FINE with. Panerai are very unique watches and I, personally, LOVE the look of the sandich/cusion case/dial.
Am thinking of canceling my pre order i think the battery is not that good

@cs-ge5kx You canceled before trying it out yourself, because of some rumors that maybe software related, that's strange judgement but it's your money.

@cs-ge5kx I have the Watch 4 Classic, and could have upgraded to the 6 Classic but I specifically wanted a much improved processor and battery, you get all of that with the Watch 7 series, unfortunately no Classic edition was made, SMH; so I decided to get the Galaxy Watch Ultra because Samsung gave me a high discount deal.
