The factory recommended way is to do it from the key fob. Step one while using the key fob lock the the door, step two press and hold the top down button. The back will open and the lights will flash to confirm process.

The manual tells you how to put the car in service mode & it does not involve the interior switch. I tried it like this before & had an issue with the top arms. Use the key FOB

Sorry for only 56 subs. The info is good, but maybe stop swinging the camera from a string and either hold still, so people can see something, or use a tripod. WAY too much camera movement for mainstream video. As a test, watch your video on a 65" screen; see if it makes you dizzy/puke.

It’s not recommended on a convertible model, but it’s up to you whether or not you want to do it.
