    The Tree Interview Question (Part II) -> ruclips.net/video/D1Tv5cCs1d8/видео.html
    I have added "English Subtitles". Apologies for bad audio folks, I thought to divide this video in 2 parts - the other one has perfect audio. I got into some issues with the microphone.

    I think there is a chance to make better solution -
    Merge the both sorted arrays it will take (m+n) time.
    Then find pairs sum, it will take time (m+n)too for the merged array.
    So we can find the pairs in linear time.
    Note: If we ignore the space complexity.

I am selected in IT company (mass recruitment) but when I see ppls like u, gaurav,yk it really motivates me to enter into product based companies. I have learned c, core java and very basic data structure. Can u plz guide me how to get into these product based companies? What core thing they really look for? One thing I have observed is DSA plays imp role in product based companies so how to improve DSA skills and logic so I can solve unseen problem. I know it's too long . Thanks for reading

    Did you get the offer letter then said no to them?
    Or if not, may I know what if you would have accepted the offer when goldman offered you and later on receiving the better offer during your notice period, you could have joined the latter. Only thing I want to know is there any clause in the offer letter that you have to join necessarily on accepting it?

    Hey,
    I have bad interview experience with GS. That was my second round interview. The interviewee cancelled my interview just after 15 minutes because he didn't know python and I was more comfortable in python. When I tried coding in java I was mistakenly writing python syntax and correcting it. So he said better not to proceed with the interview. And yeah after that I have never heard from GS.

    If you are a already employee of Microsoft why Goldman Sachs takes a long interview as just like any freshers interview. Is they are having some doubts about the person calibre who is employee of Microsoft.?

    • @RachitJain
      @RachitJain  5 лет назад +8

      That will be too stupid to simply hire anyone without grilling down and testing their skills. Microsoft can serve better in getting you shortlisted, but what you speak in interviews is your skills and knowledge.

      @@RachitJain But bro you are not having a ordinary background which need to be get tested I'm not against it but I'm wondering that the guys like you also have to give such a long interviews. One thing I get it here that is they don't care about whether you are employee of Google, Microsoft apple or any startup they test you according to their parameters for getting hired. Hello Rachit bhaiya, thankyou for making such interesting and informative videos.We appreciate your content a lot. I had a question that i hope you would elaborate upon. I am in my final year of my B.Tech course and want to apply for jobs. I am checking the careers website of the companies that i want to apply for, but there seems to be not many open entry level positions in India, however there are many such open positions in Canada, Russia...etc. So my question is, can i apply for the position in a foreign location and what would be the process for that. Thankyou.

    • @RachitJain
      @RachitJain  5 лет назад +4

      Its a bit difficult to go into US. I have seen my friends going to UK/Germany a lot though. Some went in established firms like Amazon while few in startups. The process is still same, you apply at their career website or ask a referral and while you do so, you select the appropriate location. Then, there are couple phone screening rounds, followed by optional onsite (optional because they need to cover visa and travel expense) and then you get the offer.

      Experienced ppl stop going to interview at GS for
      1. Work life balance if selected
      2. Too many rounds and months of interview
      3. Less or similar package to other companies
      I remember I did not get an offer from Apple, skipped GS, skipped Amazon after clearing 3 rounds but got better pay offer from a startup.
      Most bigger companies like Amazon, GS negotiate hard and make you over work.
      Are data structures re-created in these companies ? From my knowledge it's used in some places for low level java programming where own data structures are used instead of java own library to help with jvm performance. And this code has been written and no greenfield(other languages don't have them ?). The interview panel was checking how long will you work and be focused. 10 -6 pm interview is a lot of time.
      Are you trying to please yourself to get in GS ? 😀
      Hedge funds which I have interviewed at don't even have hacker rank type test but entire day in the office with the team coding and personality check.
