I've been in the tech industry as software engineer for 20+ years. Anyone that asks leetcode is lazy and doesn't know how to find good engineers. In the past, when I interview people, I focus on problem solving. I give them an example of the type of problems they will be asked to solve and the candidate to talk through it.
I'm much younger than you but I think for a giant like Microsoft does need to test leetcode. Of course it's not practical but it does help filter out the slow thinkers. People with high IQ can adopt and use any technology very quickly.

When a interview is ready, my students are prepared and passed the interview. In return, I want 25% of their Microsoft salary and the company secrets 🤌 But they're exactly companies does this today... Like communism countries... So... @@randomname6444I would just try till I run out of time. I think the only way to pass leetcode question is to have a mastery of the langanguage at and common Search algorithms. You might even need to build a Graph and search it.

If you weren't aware of it, you'd be surprise how thick the iceberg of connections is when you look inside a company. So reach out to people you know that may or may not have an opportunity lying for you
