Was thinking no gloves when you was welding lol then next scene your bleeding 🤣 no f3cks given just cracking on!! Nice work! Found your channel from your comment on the video of the place the xr2i came from, look forward to more updates 👍🏻
Looks good!! Getting there slowly can’t wait for the next video!! Some people having nothing good to say, keep up the good work Liam and have you thought about what road your going down for the rebuild, factory looking or custom etc ??
Liam, I thought you had given up on the XR2i. The last video I watched was from more than 6 months ago, and the car looked rotten with rust. And looking at your most recent videos, it looks worse that the last video. I don't mean to diss you and I commend you for tackling the job, but really you'd save yourself a lot of trouble just reshelling the car. However you might be a bit too invested in it by now. I noticed the water getting in on the floor, and said to myself "he'll have to remove the dash". And I see you did. Regardless, I'll be keeping an eye on your progress. Btw, this is coming from someone who is doing what you're doing. I've stripped the car to a shell, and sandblasted it. It's not needing as much work as yours, but it takes a lot of work anyway. Best of luck with the rebuild.
Why are you applying primer on red oxide? Red oxide is a primer itself. You can use gray anticorrosive primer and you don’t need to paint it twice, or am I wrong?🤔
Got to do this myself on my turb. So this was great thanks
