Hey major. Loved that proud ending for lizardmen, and I'll admit got a little tug of emotion with mazdamundi and Kroak. Though I'd only change Nakai's death, but I'd have him die in a 2-1 team up with Grimgor against Archaon. But all in all amazing POV dude

"SETTRA DOES NOT SERVE! SETTRA RULES!" -Settra The Imperishable to Nagash, when Nagash offers to spare his unlife in exchange for servitude.
That is the only good thing we got out of the End Times.
Who can give a more epic finale to the warhammer fantasy series?:
A) The company that created it, developed it, helped in making it more known to the common public, knowing the intricasis and suttle details that made it an icon in the eyes of fantasy fans around the world.

End times done right is now my 2nd most hyped youtube series after TTS.
Picture this.
The city was about to fall, its brave defenders retreating to the final plaza. Grim soldiers getting ready for their inevitable last stand. Women tried to calm their frantic children, some taking their own lives before Chaos can. The doors begin to batter, the roars of chaos erupting from the other end. The wounded captain stood at the front of the defense, sword in hand. The last of the cities mages readying their last spells as the door nearly gives way. Soldiers ready to go out like men.
Suddenly the mages sensed something, a shimmer.
The roars of Chaos die down. The survivors exchange nervous glances.
Suddenly there are screams, and roars. But not Chaos roars.
The gate shatters as a bright light sends a flaming Chaos warrior splattering onto the wall.
Alarmed the defenders brace for a charge.
Instead they are greeted by the sight of numerous reptile creatures tearing their way through the invaders. Huge scaly monsters with three horns and smaller lizards on their backs smashing Trolls aside and goaring several of Chaoses servants.
Stunned the defenders watch in as the new creatures tear into the ass of the assault. Unsure wether the new army could be trusted the Captain orders his men to prepare and to hold the line as the Chaos Warriors caught in the middle decide to charge the defenders. The battle is bloody and hard fought, but eventually after hours the army is defeated.
The Lizardmen regard the defenders with cold and emotionless eyes, save that of the fiery fury burning in their souls. Go_Rok and Krok-Gar order their army to sally after Chaos and leave the defenders. For they did not have the taint of Chaos upon them.
This is bloody amazing.
And perfect reasonable. Once the Ruinous powers were exterminated there was no reason for them to be there and moved one. Perfect ending for an amazing moment.

@@changelingman9687 ohh Makes sense. I felt like after the end of times- The Surviving Lizardman went on to continuously fight Chaos in the 9 realms. And humanity would see them as strange creatures since they forgot what the Lizardman actually were.
As a huge lizardmen fan this made my heart both happy and sad. Goddammit this was an amazing ride.
Mazda's death here made my heart ache and a cold blooded tear ran down my eye. A tear of joy this time, not rage.
I want to see the lizardmen get a little more justice in the new warhammer old world
Either they need to start building ships or reconnect to the Temple City in the Southlands. That would easily introduce them to the Old World, so they could take part in more literature, as most stories take place in the Old World.
That being said, I’d love a book series set in Lustria!

I would add that Mazdamundi and Kroak get to telepathically say good bye to their beloved Saurus guardians, something along the line of "our plan has work, our race would continue. You are our last gift to this world, our last defenders for the old world, and thank you for all your service" , before they get teleported .
Like a last good bye as friends, not just master and guard, this would even warm a cold blooded heart

The Mazdamundi/Lord Kroak moment was just beautiful and epic. And the music was a nice touch. I teared up for at least the last 5 times I repeated that part.

How would the Forerunners fair against the current Warhammer 40k galaxy with the Imperium, Chaos, Tyranids, and est in a invasion with the Forerunners invading? How long would the war take, what would be the result, and hiw big would the casualties be?
Needs more info about the scenario to give any kind of a real detail. Is this like, pre-Flood forerunners? Are the 40k factions working together? Are the chaos gods involved directly? etc.

Pre-Flood Forerunners when they are at their height with 3 million systems. And basically the galaxy is as it is currently. The factions can wish to work together if they want or serves their best interests. And the Forerunners territory is about Andromeda distance so it could take little while for them to reinforce their invasion force their Slipspace is pretty fast of course. If you want we can even throw the Ancient Humans into the mix and maybe they could play as a wild card with supplying 40k factions with weaponry. Who knows maybe the Orks will finally have the fight they always wanted and become almost as big and powerful as they did during the War in Heaven era. I heard the normal Ork back then was like 40ft tall of something like that.

It would be really funny if Mannfred did go derp, but Slaanesh closed the portal himself and laughed at the other Chaos Gods while everyone just looked around in confusion.

As an ex table top lizardmen player and a fan of the lore, thank you for doing justice to my favorite race in the Warhammer world! Your version kicks so much ass!
The best part about your ending is seeing the other races interacting with the lizardmen. Most of them never do in the lore. Markus wukfheart just fights them the dwarves have had little to no interaction with them, the vampire counts(not the coast) haven’t met them. The high elves are the only ones who have had multiple encounters with the lizardmen that haven’t ended in their deaths. If there was at least one slann there I fell like teclis could communicate telepathically with him also I believe slann themselves would all individually be strong enough to hold a wind of magic not just the names characters

Vampire Coast might be fun, primarily because as far as I know there isn’t much on them so lots of creative freedom.
There should be a brief reprieve during the finale battle or leading up to it were all the survivors talk to the respective counter parts and talk about there final thoughts like kroq gar and the slayer king talk about how they used to look down at one another for there own reasons but they see there fate even in victory will be there deaths and they come uf not to respect but understand one anothers reason to fight in the face of armageddon. We see so little interaction between the factions out side of fighting it would be good to see how they feel at then end of there journeys.
The Lizardmen were my second favourite faction in Warhammer Fantasy (Bretonnia is first) and I will be honest with you, your re-write of the end times made me hard.
I liked this rewrite, although I'd add one minor detail. When Tehenhauin died and offered his last prayer to Sotek he didn't just pray, no the Prophet seeing that his death was immanent carved out his own heart and raised it to the sky as a final sacrifice to Sotek before placing it atop the tablet he carried.
Then the tablet began to glow and a twin tailed comet appeared in the sky (since the Lizardmen see it as a sign of Sotek), which is mentioned in another story from a human perspective giving the humans hope, and Sotek answers the prayer. But not just by how you said, instead he also give Tehenhauin a final gift by raising him as essentially a Greater Daemon of Sotek.

@@majorkill Glad you like it, I figured that would be a fitting end for such a devout servant of a good. Hell you could even send him with the small hero team in the Old World. Perhaps making a scene or two that ties to the twin tailed comet being seen as holy by both humans and Lizardmen.
If I had to rewrite the Lizardmen end times I‘d make it a Noah‘s Ark type of story. Tehenhauin one day gets a vision from Sotek (secretly Dracothion), telling him that the world is about to be destroyed in a deluge of fire, chaos and Skaven and there will be nothing to stop it, so he gives him a mission to load the Lizardmen, dinosaurs and anything else worthy of saving on a giant space-ark secretly buried somewhere underneath Lustria, so they can depart for a new world. The main story would then be Tehenhauin convincing the Slann of his vision and finding the ark before the Skaven do. Similar to the Russell Crowe movie, the final climactic battle would be how the last heroes defend the ark while it is starting to take off and the moon comes crashing down, to prevent any forces of Chaos from escaping the planet with them.
Not gonna lie man, the way you describe Mozzdamundi's death plus the background music was truly a beautiful scene. If it wasn't apparent already this is an amazing series. But I have to ask are you going to touch upon the Norsecans or Skaven or are things fine as it was?

Seems like getting Skaven'd is just an excuse for poor writing in the End Times. Literally just "Skaven dropped a rock, everyone died". I mean, with Araby Cathay and Nippon it's kind of okay because they were never really in focus for the entire setting, but the Lizardmen? Bruh.
For real. Coldblood Bois deserved better, and Majorkill gave them that real classy loved that they deserved.
Yeah, Skaven were less of an actual story-telling point and more of a plot (in)convenience, like fuel in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

I have a suggestion, because I don't know the lizardmen very well it would have been comfortable if you had pictures of them like animation. Think about it.
Could Sargaras from Warcraft survive in the 41st millennium since he's quite powerful on his own and could grow some influence in the galaxy as long as he stays out of the Warp where the Chaos gods live?
As long as he stays out of the warp, I'm pretty confident nothing that's active could so much as touch Sargeras. He's massively FTL, can destroy celestial bodies with a single sword swing, has a pretty good amount of hax, and emits enough heat just by passively existing to render planets uninhabitable in relatively short order. Some spacecraft *might* have the firepower to damage him (probably only just the Necrons, tbh), but they have to be able to hit him to do that. And yeah... *maybe* Necron tech with their timefuckery could do that? They'd need to bust out the same level of weapons they used to shatter the C'tan in any case, and I really doubt that stuff is on the cards in the 42nd millennium. Besides, what happens when Sargeras convinces a bunch of orks that they should follow him? 'Cause that would totally be in his MO.

The Orks are a good candidate for services, get a couple chaos demons to join, and some dark elves and you have a good starting point.
Depends on what continuity you go with.
OG WC1-3 = nope, especially since even Arthas/LK would have likely killed him along with the rest of the burning legion after converting azeroth to undeath (hell pre-WOTLK retcons LK is quite literally a better undead version of big E without a chance for a HH style event... well with less delicious TTS snark potential; while sargy fell for the hot topic propaganda of space goats and vampires)

Or have something Like One Punch Man, where Nakai is thrown at the moon by Sotek and he punches right through it, shattering it to pieces, and the Slaan erect powerful shields over the temple cities to protect them from the debris.

Great video! I love my lizard dino boys gets their time to shine, but just one note: Nakai had single-handedly killed a demon army, I really doubt a Verminlord would be able to kill him...
I choose to believe that the End Times was a massive trap by the Chaos Gods to trick Sigmar into traveling to another dimension, thus weakening his power and the spiritual defenses of the Empire. How GW would reset the timeline after that is hard for me to say, but considering this is one world sitting on a Warp Gate and all 4 of the primary Chaos Gods are focusing a lot on this one planet... Maybe they just agree to restart the Great Game and not tell Sigmar? Then there's a tie-in of Sigmar trying to break out of the Age of Sigmar universe to get back to his original dimension and try and save humanity. Meanwhile every other race besides humanity is getting massive deja vu because their patron gods are in on it.
Undead as a whole next. Tomb kings and Vampires.

I have a few questions.
-Why would a city's worth of Slann decide that Tetto'Ekko, a skink, was more important to teleport away to safety than the Slann?
-Why did the Slann commit suicide by meteor after teleporting Tetto'Ekko away rather than casting a second mass teleport spell?
-If Lord Huinitenunchli was able to "hold back an endless horde of Skaven" by himself in his last stand alongside Chakax, how did the Lizardmen lose that battle so hard that only those two were left alive?
-Why didn't Lord Huinitenunchli **start** the battle with making the Mists make all the Skaven go into a blood rage and kill each other rather than wait until everybody was dead and then doing it?
-How did Oxyotl survive for more than a second in close combat against Deathmaster Sniktch when Oxyotl was a sniper and Sniktch was a melee blender.
-Why did Sniktch, the ultimate assassin, bellyflop onto a spear and kill himself? For that matter, where did Oxyotl get that spear? His only weapon was a blowpipe.
-Why would you have the Skaven get utterly crushed and decimated by the multi millions up to and including the resurgence of Sotek only to have the Lizardmen lose regardless by getting Majora's Masked? Not only does this do the Skaven a major disservice because the entire story is them getting massacred endlessly and having their best assassin die to a static javelin embedded in the ground, but it also invalidates the work of the Lizardmen by having them triumph completely and without problem before handing them the loss anyway.
I know I’m late to this but I feel like if the hero’s of old were in full power everyone would be fine( anerion, kroak as a living slann, Nagash with the resurrection done right,sigmar) they would have butchered chaos

Lizardmen after 5th edition and onwards: Created by the omnipotent Old Ones to serve them as a benevolent, always-lawful enforcer of order
The Heresy known as the End Times: Fucking Worf effect up the ass x10 as they get swamped by skaven and forced to leave the planet before getting yeeted by morrslieb moon fragments
I still feel as though GW couldn't make up their minds on what to do with the lizardmen and in a manner that is considered appropriate for all parties concerned.
They backpeadeled on making them an evil race, reworked them with favorable regard as a uniquely distinct creator's pet, and then suddenly turn against them like a diseased leper and stab them in the spine.
So I'm all the more happy for this revision which does right and proper justice for them.

The Lizardmen are a favorite faction for me w/ the Dwarfs. I really like Mazdamundi and Gor Rok. It was an epic end for Mazdamundi to die there, w/ Kroak behind his back. Justice had been done!
I get the feeling that if the writers actually remembered that Gor-Rok existed, that there would be at least one lizard fighting against Chaos. Think about it: The moon crashes into Lustria, flattening the entire continent. When the dust settles, Gor-Rok shakes himself off and looks around, wondering what the hell hit him.

I was really disappointed when i knew how GW killed of my favourite race of Warhammer and pretended thath my favourite character of the Lizardman, Gor-Rok, didn't even exist

It's kind of a waste to let him die like that, he is the 2nd most oldest lizardmen next to kroak, we gotta give respect the chad deserves mate

Ah… After the indignation of seeing my favorite faction done so dirty by GW, salvation has come in the form of a glorious Australian fuckboy injecting some honest to god effort into this glorious mess of storytelling. I'm pretty late watching and commenting so you probably won't see this, but thank you so much for your effort so far. All my favorite characters are getting their time to shine. The bit with Oxyotl and Snikch reminded me of my comment all the way back on your Snikch lore video when I asked you how you thought he'd fare against Mazdamundi, Kroq-Gar, and Chameleon Rambo (your reply, which was detailed and a joy to read has since been deleted ever since that hacking jizz-addict 'did nothing wrong' to your channel, but the memory of the time you took to answer me will stick with me, so thanks again for that).
I also really like how you've given a few of the Lizardmen characters hints of bigger personalities. It's the only thing about them that I always had a hard time with, that they were, for the most part, basically flesh robots created to serve a specific purpose and not have a capacity for much else. It's an interesting worldbuilding point, but makes it harder to have good fluff for a character beyond "He showed up and beat the bad guy and was very good at it." Your scene where Mazdamundi stumbles to his favorite viewing spot and actually sheds tears is something beautiful that I've wanted to see in the Lizards for some time, and it's a shame it's not actually cannon (I've been thinking that phrase a lot over the course of this series so far).
And of course, my favorite character in Warhammer Fantasy, Kroqy-G, who's really earned my old nickname for him (Kroq-Gar Pimp-Hand), gets to survive and take part in the final battle. I have a bit of an idea pitch for that that I think you'll like: Kroqy-G and Settra the Motherfucking Imperishable fighting back-to-back. I mean, we have the immortal mummy king of kings and chads alike, and an Aztec dino-man Doomslayer, each wielding weapons of their respective gods and having some serious beef with those chaos bitches.
I'll shut up now, but thanks again for doing this series! I eagerly await the next one! Can't wait to see what Kroq-Gar and the surviving Lizardmen do in the final battles!
Also, what about a Slann that interpreted the Great Plan as getting as buff as possible so he lifted for 2000 years, and when the skavens invaded Lustria, he jumped extremely high into the sky, grabbed a meteor and dropped it over their heads?

I've never truly known what happens in the end times so this series is great. I love the changes which add more depth to the characters and actually some relatability, for example, Malekith seeing that he is a monster and chooses faith rather than blood to win over the elf races is crazy amazing, or maz spending his whole life working out what the great plan is to choose his own great plan. Love it. I think the one I want to see next is the undead factions specifically the deal with nagash and the tomb Kings
As a fan of the rats this is so good! You can really tell you actually care about the TRUE fantasy! Please keep this up! I’d love to see you do a dedicated episode of the Skaven some day but I would keep with the order forces for now as the Dwarves! Thanks again for great content!
Right now The End Times need to be fixed in the game as well. Chaos invasion gets stomped by the first few guys they come across...
I use a couple mods to try fix that - hoping that Game 3 will have a fully revamped hardcore Chaos invasion
That is a better ending of the lizard man race the end time wasn't great I like your scenario what should happen the lizard man survive against the end times
Oh btw, the dawi got SHAFTED during end times. To the point that I'm not even sure HOW once can make their ending better.

If they wanted to give us an actually good full scale war between the Lizardmen and the Skaven, they should have done a lot more than even your recomeded changes included.
Elements of all 4 clans should be present, we should get a sense that this is a huge endeavor, one of the most ambitious ever launched by Skavendom. There should be Skaven Lords complaining that the huge numbers required for this campaign are hurting other warfronts, and forcing them to abandon other plans, that supplies are stretched dangerous thin ect ect. The Skaven's entire stick is how mind boggling their numbers and resources are, so there is no better way to impress us as readers than to signal that this is straining even their capacity. Remember, their numbers are prodigious, not infinite.
We should then get a prolonged section where the Skaven are are going into Lustria, and dealing with the nightmare attrition there. There should be battles with wildlife, skaven clearcutting miles and miles of jungle, dying in droves from fever, predators and everything the jungle has to throw at them. Slaves dieing of exhaustion and cannibalizing one another. The Skaven should essentially pave their way through Lustria on a road made of their own corpses.
At some point, the Skaven forward teams start being harried by Skinks. The Skaven lords laugh at this, saying they have slaves and clanrats to spare, and plan to just ignore these pitiful raids. Not soon after this Oxyotl infiltrates the Skaven lines, and gives either someone lowkey popular like Trench Craventail, or several random Skaven Lords/Greyseers a poison dart to the neck.
Complete panic ensues in the upper Skaven leadership, they demand these raids be stopped immediately, and a large scale low intensity battle under the trees starts between huge numbers of Skink skirmishers of all types, and the Clan Eshin Night and Gutter Runners. This low key battle/extended series of skirmishes lasts several days. At first the Skinks are doing very well, causing real problems for the Skaven, especially Clan Scryer war machine crews. However, the Skaven keep adapting and there is no end to their numbers, and before the Skinks realize it, the tide has turned, and their own tactics are being combined with Eshin gutter runner tactics and used to slaughter them. Lord Tiktaq'to is injured or killed in one of his raids, and the Skinks panic and flee.
After this, one of the Slann, having recently just awakened and still not completely sold on the Skaven as something that could wipe them all out, decides to lead an army and vanquish them in pitched battle. He brings out a huge Lizardmen army, really gives it the works, and several Lizardmen characters show up. Along with them come the Amazons, also in considerable numbers, and bringing with them Goril monstrous infantry. Then Tehenhauin shows up, along with the Cult of Sotec and more snakes than you can shake a stick at. The audience should really be worked up to think that they have a chance here. Stress the Lizardmen's impressive turnout, and create a moment of doubt.
To work this up even further, Lurhor Harkon decends on the Skaven from the rear, alarmed by the size of this huge Skaven Armada. The Skaven have a battle with the Vampire coast, and, never having done very well against the undead, they start takeing a real pasting. Then, while major segments of the army have turned to deal with the Vampire Coast, the Lizardmen/Amazon army strikes. All fucking hell breaks loose, as the Slann unleash their magic, giant snakes start going berserk, Kroxogors are eating rats left and right, Amazons are running around with their tits out and renacting Nicki Minaj's Anaconda, but with rat blood spraying everywhere.There is a moment of serious doubt, during which the audience should be asking themselves "Oh shit, is the Skaven invasion going to be crushed early?!"
That's when the turn around happens. The sheer numbers of the Skaven are reemphasized as the narative camera zooms out to reveal that, for all the carnage they are wreaking on the Skavens front lines, neither army has even managed to penetrate very far into the Skaven camp. What they mistook for the Skaven army, is simply the outermost ring of a series of concentrically placed camps. Huge numbers of reinforcements lead by Stormvermin and backed up by clan scryer gun and poison mortar teams are brought into position, and start dealing murderous damage to the attacking forces. The momentum of the Lizardmen, undead and Amazons continues for a while, a lot more rats die, but they are slowly forced back and brought low by the endless waves of Skaven, and well placed ordinance. The attacking armys break, pursued into the jungle by Clan eshin forces, leaving a trail of injured and dying as they go.
And that would be my INTRODUCTION. What I would have BEFORE any of the sieges even began.
Ive never read the book of warhammer fantasy, i know little about the overall lore except from the corebooks of the races in the tabletop. When i found out about the endtimes i was pissed . But this, this is so much better than canon. Lizardmen were my introduction to warhammer and it made me honestly tear up hearing some of these brilliant final battles, and the deaths of some of the most legendary lizardmen heroes that the end times didnt give justice.

Everyone already commented on how emotional that scene was, so I'll say something different: assassin duel between Snikch and Oxyotl would be so fucking badass. Kroak dabbing on Chaos also never gets old.

Hey, thank you for the video. I only have two problems with your cannon. 1. Oxyotle doesn't have feelings so I don't think he would care for cool lines.
2. Mazdamundi's death is too cheesy. Remove the crying and add-in the dark gods' laughter which ENDS when Kroak puts his hand on Mazdamundi's shoulder.
