Been to Vietnam twice, it’s a fantastic place, so many interesting places and people
I am a constant visitor to HCMC my wife and son are there. I have to say while the market is crap the food inside is well worth stepping into the gauntlet for. So it’s not all crap.

Ho Chi Min City Traffic is insane. Crossing a 10 lane street near the river is a “Mr. Magoo” experience. You just close your eyes and start walking. The scooters just flow around you. One experience was enough for me.

Another great vlog mate, video quality & sound was great, apart from when it was getting dark, but then came back maybe you switched cameras? I visited there about 10 years ago, I remember there were a lot of beggars & people wanting to polish your shoes even when I was sitting down to eat, staff moved them on, don't remember the street with all the loud music, things have obviously changed a lot.....

You can also try out East West Brewery, Heart of Darkness or Pasteur Street Brewing Company! Have a good time mate. Not just Vietnamese food, you can get awesome burgers & pizzas/pasta or French food in Saigon also.

Great work mate…I don’t know what district I stayed in 3 or 4 times…but the people are so friendly and the street food is better than the fast food places. I walked down the back alleys no problems! Day or night….
Just got back from 3 weeks in Japan and your video is encouraging me to go o/s again. Actually my favourite memory of my only trip to Saigon was meeting Vietnamese students in a local park who wanted to practise their English on me. As a former English teacher, I was only too happy to oblige. Lovely people. Love the vids mate, keep up the good work! (By the way, have you done any vids from Japan?)

@@EsquireUnlimited For anyone who has not been before I guess Tokyo would be a starting point but following there, it has to be Osaka, Kyoto, Himeji and Hiroshima. I've been a few times and have seen many of the major sites so now I limit myself to doing out of the way sorts of things that I discover through web browsing. As an example, my wife and I (we're both over 70) found a sumo museum on the outskirts of Osaka. If you happen to go when a sumo tournament is on, it's a The people there were lovely (no English) but we were invited on to the actual ring and we "wrestled" for some pretty funny photos! Went to a Kyoto J League football match and the atmosphere was amazing. I guess it depends on what your interests are and what you think your viewers might want to see you up to. I did the whole 3 week itinerary myself as I hate organised tours and the whole trip was just great, start to finish. Highly recommend you go, especially as the yen is weak and it's very cheap in Japan right now. Just make sure you get a rail pass before you go otherwise the shinkansen (bullet trains) are expensive without one.

Just got back- things seem to be going well in Saigon. Not a place I would settle in. I had to be there a few days with my girl.
I don’t stay where Lj was. Too much geared for tourists. Higher prices.
Go away from District 1- it’s still only a 4 $ taxi ride away.
The people are very friendly.
Smile, say hello.Grab a coffee and watch the motorcycles go by.
The women are great. Young , middle aged women are interested in YOU.

At 15min 33 seconds, behind you is a prominent sign for 'De Montfort University, Leicester', which is where I graduated from in 1994. I knew they were expanding, but that is a big surprise to see there in Saigon.

Anyways nice video and yes the Vietnamese people are very nice and I have too say Da Nang is stunning. The architecture is quite nice, old influence has remained.
I see prices are rising but still very affordable.

Cheers mate. I did shoot with the DJI in 4k but as the first half was filmed on the M50 1080p I could not edit in 4k. Unfortunately the M50 doesn’t perform well in 4k.
Both are good...the camera is clear and the mic is GREAT!!!!!!! It is funny.......Your speech pattern is like Vietnamese........although you are speaking english.(when you had Ban Mi) If that makes sense.
