@@skaybaltimore well maybe because cheap bikes are made of steel, not aluminum or carbon. you can weld steel but not aluminum or alot of other more expensive metals
First of all you need to have creativity, imagination and good ideas. Secondly must do it, give it a try. While others break their heads, draw something, have sleepless nights etc., you just do it. You actually really work on things. And this is extremely great! Of course sometimes it needs improvements, but your work and builds are amazing! You are a great inspiration!
No, first you need to have money to afford the tools, materials, and time to even start a project like this because we live in a broken world where we must weigh our dreams against our survival.
Just because it all in a few minute video does not mean it didn't take days and days to make or that there was no drawing, sleepless nights, re-dos of things that didn't work etc. That is the magic of video editing. But to me all that work and determination we don't see makes it even more impressive, not less.
Becareful at speeds over 25 mph. Those are not speed rated tires it’s no joke they pop and peel instantly and your on your face in a second and there’s no controlling it I blew one at 30 and bout got killed. Nice build ! You should specialize in utility fat tire bikes for off road lots of hunters buy em. They buy trailers to. I have a upgraded Pc control I can’t figure how to marry it to by hunt bike( I upgraded to a sine wave unit) I have 5 wires out of like 20. No schematics 😡 no support.
I really love your work, but in my actual country (Perú), there's a law prohibiting motor bikes likes yours (self-made). It can only be use with warranties from a well-known brand.
Also I'm curious because I've often wondered about this but I've never seen one before. Have you ever tried to make or seen anyone else make what I guess you could essentially call a skinny trike where the distance between the two rear wheels is only about a foot apart but which I'm speculating would have the stability of a 15 - 18 inch wide rear tire and effectively a very stable platform for a huge DC motor (DIY Deathtrap). Ideally out of 3in wide tire to minimize drag while still maximizing stability
LOL, So all this great work to make what is already available in parts or the whole on the market. What you could have done was rebuild/build it to use Honda C90 wheels and tires and a mid drive motor. That would have made it a uniquely durable, puncture resistant, long lasting, easily maintained and less expensive to own in the long term E-bike. But fun video, Thanks!
You had an excellent vision of what you wanted and set out to accomplish fabricating it but I'm having trouble understanding why it is you started with a fully functional working bicycle when it seems like you could have easily done the same thing with a bike that has been completely destroyed run over or just a handful of bike parts from bikes that no longer worked and no good for any other purpose then taking up space in the landfill or recycling bin rather than what looked to be a brand-new bike.
Good evening! I looked at your Master class on creating a bicycle bike - fantastic sticks are great !!!! Please tell me what material is the bicycle frame aluminum or metal, which one? and with what electrode did you weld? Best regards, Alexey Nastenko Kazakhstan
Seriously? You might as well have just made this completely from scratch. Like the average person has an entire machine shop at their disposal with welding tools and skills, metal cutting blades and good construction skills to be able to put something this complex together? LOL. This is waaay more than just some simple Bike conversion. It's simple in your Tony Stark lol
Good day dear friend! Please tell me the size of the rear wheel motor 1500w and if possible the size of the self-motor I have a motor from a fatbike 1000w of the forward stroke I want to choose a rim for knitting. Thank you very much in advance! Sincerely, Alexey Nastenko Atyrau Kazakhstan.
I was digging this video until I see green slippers . Learn safety before you try and teach people about building stuff with machinery that can cause serious injury
Absolutely admire your idea and on same hand hate execution of your project. Definitely you have knowledge but fabrication quality is very poor. I hope to see more projects from you, just please pay more attention to details because definitely you got potential to do it way way better.
I'm curious about stability issues because at 40 miles an hour something being just a little off centere or not balanced properly can extrapolate out to be quite a problem and a small vibration at that bikes normal intended speed could make it ride like a bucking bronco you're hard-pressed to stay on for 8 Seconds. I've seen someone warp a motorcycle so badly from welding on it's frame without structurally changing it very much to the point where it was quite unpleasant to ride once it was up to speed and there's quite a difference between a 40 mile an hour bicycle and 200 mile an hour motorcycle but it seems the same problems could easily manifest proportionately speaking when you scale it up. Is that why you change the frame so radically to compensate for those type of problems or was that just Whimsy because I was a little confused by that part where you flip the back end over and compressed it vertically with a pivot point just behind the bottom bracket and very different suspension from how it started? Also did you purchase the battery pack or fabricate your own because it looks to be a real Beast of a battery filling most of that triangle completely so could you tell me a little more about it, specs price where you bought it or if it's your own creation specs and capabilities and how it's working out for you as far as did it meet your expectations or is there something that in hindsight you would have done differently?
that/s a great job but i would be more impressed of the bike was taken from the junk shop its look like you are destroying a newly built one which can be donated to workers who does not have cars in thirld world countries like the philippines
Unreal, but for your welds and lungs, take off the paintwork around the area. Some decent skill you have though👍🏽 that torque arm will help with the spreading but have something that can enclose the axel so it can't drop out. The regen will cause alot of rocking on the axel. Unfortunately I'm speaking from experience on that one 😕

I'd be surprised if that rear frame lasts, it needs more that one fixing point, not counting the shock, it will just twist under the pressure
Maybe, maybe not

Yep the rear end looks a little rinky dink. And that's a lot of steel I wonder what the bike weighs?

Amazing work with very basic tools, scrap metal and old bikes. 👏👏
Great work but the changes to the frames integrity seems very dangerous.
