Thank you, my 2009 malibu isn't locking or unlocking with the switch. I'm more prepared than I was expecting to be when I go to look at the fuses tomorrow.

my door locks are going crazy for my 2010 Malibu and I honestly had the bright idea to take out the fuse because the locks were draining my new replacement batteries dead constantly. def wanted to see a vid before doing so and this just confirms it for me. thank you for posting!!

Nice troubleshooting job on the door locks. My 2011 Malibu door locks all work except the righthand rear passenger door lock. I am thinking I need to replace the actuator in the only one that does not work. What do you think? Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
I would say check to see if you have voltage to the actuator first before you replace it.

on the back of the fuse panel there is a fuse map. Most cars also do this.
My 2015 malibu rear doors aren't opening. When i push unlock button i hear the actuator working. Is it possible the child lock is malfunctioning?
What if you can hear them trying to lock but they aren’t locking or even unlocking? All my doors are doing it
You message does not give me enough information to properly diagnose. My best assumption is to check the ground connection(s). Why I say this? It sounds like you are sending the command to operate the locks but the motors are not receiving enough amps to perform the task. Best of luck and have a great week.

If I did not place them there. They are aftermarket junk.
Why not try to reprogram the fob and see if the lock button starts to work?
Please explain more. If the fab works for some functionality how would it have loss other functionality? What would have caused the fab to not command the problematic button, leaving you to believe it needs to be reprogrammed?
@@MotionDesignStudio I don't know but it only takes a few seconds to reprogram to see if it may resolve the fob locking button. Just a thought.
