I understand why Unity has so much problems at first. The devs themselves told that they were pushing the engine to the limit. The outcome is clear: Very aesthetic feeling of France but requires a very strong PC to run it. Right now I can run the game on a stable 40-60 FPS with my GTX1060. Love Unity in the aspect of aesthetics (Parkour animation, surroundings, buildings, interior, etc.)
+House Lannister I agree Unity has Insane amount of detail in Crowd. If we talk about scenery then syndicate has 30 % more detail to the game than unity.
Hamza Aman The story in the AC games are called sequences. This guy called them campaign's which are usually in FPS games. Unless they call it a campaign
We are 3 months from 2020 that makes Unity 5 YEARS OLD. And even for today after all AC games this game is the best looking and the most underrated too.
@@salvatoredimartino4246 I'd say it ends with syndicate only that's the last AC game that kept similar mechanics to unity after that it's just gone pear shaped but I'd say for myself that unity is the best in the series
@@ariesteria8204 i just got origins and its amazing! I got It for only 17 euros (the original price is 70 euros). It has a very very Big map. In each región there are a lot of things to do
Get real though, that's a 7 year old game and it's a REMASTER, not a REMAKE. I'm completely satisfied with how Assassin's Creed 2 turned out - the colors are sharper, the shadows deeper, and it's just a lot better looking then it was originally - so yeah it's a pretty good remaster. People are far to unrealistic with what they expect sometimes.
Also story, it's way too underrated. Arno came from a different place and lost his father early. Joins the Brotherhood in search of redemption, has his own cafe, tries to protect his love who is actually the enemy in the eyes of his own Brotherhood. Lets himself go and loses his vision because of redemption. Belec is easily one of Ac's best characters, Arno very charming as well. Cool underground Assassin base in Paris. What was there to hate? Will never understand it. Okay they could have had better missions, I understand, but It had it's moments when you had to assassinate a Target and try multiple different approaches, really cool. Easily one of the best AC games, anyone else saying otherwise has no idea of Assassins Creed.
I am playing Syndicate and it's has good graphics, but Unity for me still has the most impressive graphics of all time! Also Population density is a let down in Syndicate. But anyway, Ubisoft worked on Unity for four years and two years for Syndicate, this explains the lack of detail.
JewTube Yeah that's what killed Unity, if Ubisoft gave four more months to dev team... Anyway, you can see how much detail Unity has by playing it (sorry if you already played), most of the buildings looks different and almost everything has walkable interiors.
Zangetsu276 graphics doesn't define a game as a whole. if lower population, slightly lower quality graphics and less interiors is needed for better frame rate, I'm all for it. also, syndicate, in terms of story and gameplay, is much more polished. For me the controls didn't seem so wonky in syndicate, it felt neat and responsive.
GunShot I like the combat in AC Unity better, but speaking of gameplay as a whole I prefer Syndicate. Also the story in Unity at least for me is better, I'm almost in the end of Syndicate and the story never surprised me.
Actually. I change my opinion. Now that bugs are actually fixed up, unity is a great game, and I really liked the story, and the side missions made my day. In terms of replayability and keeping your focus, unity is simply better
6 years later and some Unity features are still unmatched to this day: the population density, the simultaneous action, the amount of explorable venues, real time transitions
@@rappercentral703 Black Flag did have multiplayer but Unity was more of an official co-op Assassins Creed experience, like even with all the bugs and how slow it can be at times it's so fun and addicting, best co-op experience I had ina long while. I think what makes it so great is how it doesn't really feel like you're playing with random dudes online, instead it kinda feels more like your playing with random assassins out in the world with how immersive of an assassin experience it can be at times, but maybe that's just me Idk.
I always thought that Unity was Ubisofts all out attempt to make the best possible AC game they could, but the hardware they have to work with on console isn't where it needs to be. Behind Revelations, Unity is one of my favorite in the series.
Comrade Shea he’s not using some argument to say he doesn’t like consoles, he’s stating a fact which is that the consoles weren’t the hardware Ubisoft needed to make the game they wanted work flawlessly.
It's not about the console hardwares it's about the Ubisoft itself they rushed this game so much if just Ubisoft give them a little more time for fixing the bugs and optimizing it more then Unity would be the masterpiece we were looking for after Brotherhood
+naturbur Building is closed in Syndicate because of the bug. The reason why Unity was so laggy, it's was because of this and the french revolution. ''Amount of people''
+naturbur Almost ever building was closed in the previous assassins creed games aswell. And if it was not the case than it was one of the rare mission essential buildings that you sooner or later had to infiltrate. But ubisoft never randomly opened up buildings in previous games excluding the "walkable" interiors that act as escape route in AC3.
Honestly I prefer unity, even though syndicate is so much smoother in terms of framerate, Unity has a special vibe and atmosphere to it, and I loved unity, it feels like a game that had so much potential and achieved 70% of that potential. Would’ve loved to see them continue improve upon the engine.
ive always liked unitys rustic charm, as that game was revolutionary. syndicate takes everything unity had and puts it at the bottom of its list. i feel the main reason why unity failed was because it was to far ahead of its time. you have 300~ civilians in one area in unity, and 20 in syndicate. the dense areas made unity feel special in its own way. i personally like unity a lot more because of its overall design.
+George Thorney but that's what you guys don't understand, you dont look at the whole game. some of the little stuff, some of the big stuff. you guys think the game is trash, but i see where Ubisoft was trying to go with this.
+Zach Marik well leave the bugs aside, unity is a beautiful game, but the gameplay and story is shit compared to the previous ubisoft games. if ubisoft actually spent more time working on unity instead of rushing the game, unity could've actually been a revolutionary game, but ubisoft is ubisoft.
+Zach Marik I have to agree with you even tho the story wasn't the best. They clearly tried to show what the new gen could do in terms of graphics and tech but it was pushing those new consoles too hard. The PC version, on the other hand, ran great after a few patches and hopefully the extra month will put those features back in for Syndicate.
Unity was a true revolutionary and ambitious Assassin's Creed game. Unfortunately, it was stained with a lot of bugs. Once these were eliminated, Syndicate looks cartoonish and generic in comparison to Unity. I enjoyed both games (funnier and more diverse missions: Syndicate / Best ending and narrative: Unity), but I applaud the breakthrough attempts in graphics, textures, denser population, attention to detail of Unity. A 1:1 rendition of late 18th century Paris... Come on! :)
@@sergi5519 what? What an exaggeration, there is Odyssey, Origins and Black Flag. Syndicate is far from bad, but the best? neither in graphics or history, it doesn't even have the best city.
+Γιώργος Κ. Yes I agree, but you have to take in to account that Ubisoft designed Syndicate to look old and rugged yet beautiful in its own way. Yet probably only to attract a Brit like me😂
Too bad there not using the Pc editions of these two games : i own both games & enjoy both titles, the textures in Syndicates Landmarks are much more detailed butt the fog & Dirty haze Ubishit injected into London ( understandable ) takes away it’s beauty ...... i went into the Config files & disabled the effects = Tremendous difference !! Butt after playing Unity, Sydicates population feels empty 🤨 butt Evie & her Secrets of London Outfit made up for it 🍷
Temmo Rijken it is the fact that unity looks better, but syndicate runs better and(imo) it has better gameplay and story, minus the parkour, which is nonexistent due to the rope launcher. I get that the streets are wide, but it's just overused
Unity is a better assassins creed game. people who choose syndicate over unity do it because of other things. unity is actually about finally being an assassin and playing assassin missions. for me the best assassin creed games are assassins creed 2, brotherhood, the original and unity. those are the only ones where you feel you are actually an assassin. now games like black flag, 3 and syndicate are good games on their own but not as assassins creed games they are more adventure games.
juggernuts1000 "do it because of other things" I'm sorry what does an assassin feel like? I know it's your opinion blah blah...I understand Black Flag feels like a pirate game. But Syndicate is not that bad. "because of other things," bro Unity was glitchy, the story was bland, they had a british accent. Syndicate was innovative that's why it stood out, same with Black Flag and Ac3. "Finally being an assassin" the assassin creed games go through different eras where we're not just restricted to just walking and climbing, no they had to learn how to adapt and later on in the 21st Century, learn how to hack. You're just use to the notion of hiding by sitting in the benches and running forever.
Happuhkilling its not my opinion but a fact. the assassin creeds i mentioned are the ones where you primarily focus on being an assassin and thats a fact. we get it that you and many more people love black flag 3 and all the others. i like them too. but you cant argue the fact they are less about being an assassin than the ones i have mentioned. again not an opinion, FACT. look at your argument, you are stating bugs in syndicate and crappy story, but you only prove my initial point. that maybe the other games are better than lets say unity as games, but not as assassin creed games. glitches, bugs or story has nothing to do with the subject here. we are not talking about which game is better overall but about which game is the better assassins creed. black flag is pirates of the carribean for all that i care to be honest. the others are not focusing on being an assassin and have just action missions majority of the time like any other action game. if you didnt call them assassins creed but gave them another name, nobody would even say they are about being an assassin.
unity was just full of glitches but still assasins creed games are different and really good.As of syndicate it did feel like an assasins creed game and it's great.
Right? Why don't people like unity then? I really liked the game. The combat mechanics were amazing! The storyline was great. Sure there were some graphic bugs but that shouldn't matter.

+Kay Simon Jr. I really disagree with the fact that Unitys world was nicer since Syndicates world is more variated, more vivid, and more realistic to the actual setting of real life
+Christopher Caro I feel Unity is more realistic to the actual setting and Paris was practically (if not) made 1:1 whereas London's Syndicate isn't... they didn't even put the zoo... I was really hoping for it to be in the game and it makes me wonder what else they took off of London's mid/late 19th century.

+Noob Style These companies think if a game doesn't sell in its launch day then its a failure we should teach them otherwise by not *FUKING PRE-ORDERING* their crap whatever you do just dont buy first day or preorder, thats it. a video game success is not as dependent on its launch day as an hollywood movie. we would have a lot healthier industry if people understood this edit: more clarification
Unity has aged really well. Playing it now in 2020, it feels like the definitive Assassin's Creed game. It's not an RPG like Origins or Odyssey, it's not a pirate game like Black Flag, it's a game about Assassin's accomplishing their missions the best way they see fit
Unity was way ahead of it's time, it was a next generation Assassin's Creed game. A time when developers really cared about the game rather than making money.
We can make photo realistic games that with be the standard for games in 20 years but its just the hardware and its gonna run like shit just look at crisis

I think AC:U will be a very good game but in the feature. When standard PC's will be capable to run this game on ultra with stable frame-rate 60FPS. Then people will really appreciate this game and its potential. Imo It's AC:U better than Syndicate. For me Paris is much more soulful than London.
you have right the AC:U has stunning interiors and the populate its amazing, a lot of npc without framerate drops, i always waits 4 moths to play a new game cause the early bugs are fixed in that time
Are you saying that PCs are not powerfull enough to run Unity? LMAO, It's the GAME'S SHITTY OPTIMIZATION FAULT. Just look at the fucking texture popping ffs.
Suzuki Shinji "When STANDARD PC's will be capable to RUN THIS GAME on ultra with STABLE frame-rate 60FPS", I have a GTX 1070 OC and can't run this shit game at stable 60fps. If by "standard PCs" he means mid-end PCs that would be possible in probably 5 fucking years.
nice gameplay if u play on pc cause at least on ps4 it can turn into a nightmare sometimes with huge framerate falls and lag. I simply dont understand why they didnt just turn down a little bit the npc density so the game could be smoother, or at least make it optional
+Cool Mood (darkdrift1000) Todays graphics are still extremely far from being photorealistic. But i find Unitys interiors one of the best looking i have ever seen.
Cool Mood ,,paintings or other images that are so realistic they are hard to distinguish from photos" Exact definition. I am right. Today's graphics are far from hard to distinguish from photos and real life.
I think that unity flopped because it was trying to peacock by showing off its 'amazing' population density and walkable interiors even if it reduced the frame rate to crumbs. Syndicate seems like a much more playable game, granted there aren't as many walkable interiors or dense crowds but overall it's easier to look at and, hopefully, play.
Syndicate has no walkable interiors at all. Crowd population is 20-30% of Unity's. The detail is reduced quite a lot on NPCs, buildings look less realistic. If ubisoft spend this year fixing Unity, I would be much more happy playing that, than the downgraded piece of Ubi's work called 'Syndicate'..
+Nik Mas The sacrifices they had to make to reach relatively stable 30 fps at 900p on PS4 and XB1. These consoles are just too weak for ambitious games like Unity (just talking about the tech)
Greg Smith Unity ran on almost constant 25 fps, and I doubt the downgrade only gave a 5 fps boost (considering the draw distance was reduced as well). So it should have been at least 10-20 fps boost. So the only reason of downgrade is Ubisoft rushing the development, so people don't have time to think if it's worth buying this shit. And they buy it.
Nik Mas If i remember correctly Unity used to dip down to 15 fps at times. All these downgrades are there to make sure it's more stable 30 fps. They probably could have optimised it much better with less downgrades as you say, but we know Ubisoft and their annual releases, it probably was quicker and cheaper to just downgrade the game til it runs fine most of the time.
Greg Smith after the patches it ran almost constant 25fps on my ps4. My point is that their optimisation is even worse than last year... And I thought last year couldn't be worse.
Unity is always gonna have some of the best graphics in Assassin's Creed simply down to the baked in lighting. Every other game opts for real-time lighting with day/night cycles and stuff. Unity sets specific times of day with custom drawn shadows and stuff. It'd be like taking a photo of a room, and mapping it to a 3D model, compared to making an entirely 3D room from scratch with in-engine lighting.
@@wilddude1710 Dude just go and play AC 2. Then compare it with the gameplay in this video. Damn both would look the same. Ive personally played all games and can tell u that this comparison is total shit. Unity looks way better than this

There shouldn't be any fewer people in Syndicate because it's taking place during rapid industrialisation with higher population densities than ever before.
Of course but London in the midst of the Industrial Revolution was no better considering how fucking packed and dense it was, London was the centre of the world by that point and considered the greatest city in the world after the defeat of Napoleon and beginning of the Victorian era
The lighting and textures of unity are spot on. It's probably the closest to reality I've ever seen in a game. Ac4, ac3, and syndicate have very beautiful lighting and textures but it seems more like showcasing and fabrication compared to the real clothing, bricks, contrast and sunshine I'd find outside...
Times are very different. French rev and industrial rev were two very different things that happened in history. Except that in unity it required many people to fill the the streets but in syndicate it was not necessary. Also i understand the windows and houses being all opened up. But imagine me walking in a house that wasn't mine.
Victorian London was a proper civilized place, the start of the modern age , u could just walk through people plea house, because of the modern day police, but in 1789 while Paris was revolting , ruining through s house wouldn't have been as bad, with everyone out revolting I guess.
Su unity had problems? Don't worry. Just reduce people's density, remove the interiors and low the graphics. Problem solved HAHAHA. Ubisoft, please just give some rest to this series. Work on it for 2-3 years, then give it to us.
+Poolback I'm not talking about Unity, but syndicate. Cutting contents isn't the right way to make improvements. They simply delete all the extras that Unity had to make syndicate run better. But they've lost the online coop (which I think it was great and fun to play), the tthousands of people in the streets, and the amazing graphics of Unity.
+MancVandaL They could have improved lighting and crowd performance by incorporating some form of dynamic and static batching in their engine, if they haven't already, as well as optimized occlusion culling. The texture issues could be fixed by simply having more VRAM on the machine it's being played on (Which isn't an option for consoles, I know), while the rest of the performance issues could be resolved through more effective coding/scripting.
Syndicate is actually a great game. It has a GTA V feel. It feels more grounded and you don't go flying in parkour. This game is awesome. Compared to Unity.
+Blackblade95 I was actually disappointed the brother got the zipline. When he got it and was so interested I was like "why"? But, then she took it from him and I thought "there we go, the parkour girl gets the zipline, makes sense". But NOOOO .. the brother had to have one too. FFS, he's supposed to be on the ground more. I was also disappointed that SHE, on the other hand, was able to command gang members.. THAT part should just be for him. Also, the fact that, when you switch characters they're just on top of each other and not in a separate part of the city like in GTA5 was lame. I totally thought it would be like GTAV, but NOOOO.. Ubisoft went "soft" on that part too.
The point of Assassin's creed is not to have a GTA V feel. It's to have a historic feel. Some people are just too obsessed with other games and they don't understand the point of other games
The Random Gamer There's not a damn thing wrong with comparing game mechanics that are outside the story. GTA5 - 3rd person Assassin's Creed - 3rd person GTA5 - open world Assassin's Creed - open world GTA5 - vehicle theft Assassin's Creed - vehicle theft I think I've made my point.
love how they didn't show going into houses on syndicate and you can ive almost 100% complete the game and i can say there is heaps that you can go through
I have all the assassins creeds and in my opinion syndicate has slightly better graphics than unity but unity has a better storyline and I think is generally a better game This is only my opinion but I hope this helped you
I know this is ur opinion and i respect that but the reason i think syndicate has a better story is because unity is pretty similar to ac2 because both main characters had their fathers die at a young age discover they are a part of something very big and go on to assassinate templars , while syndicate from the beginning the main characters know what to do and how to do it , they came to save London and they did
@@Miidnatt i cant answer that directly each one has a preference, i liked unity but imo syndicate was just a masterpiece 2 characters who ard twins ? Thats just amazing
I haven't played Syndicate yet (although I've bought it), but that's because I haven't finished playing Unity. Mostly because I always find myself so intrigued with the amazingly detailed graphics, density, and the walk-in interior -I could spend hours just walking around Paris and zooming it at all those details, listening to the crowds/people murmuring and chatting. Everything is just so lively, sure there are some bugs but I really do not mind. It's just totally tolerable considering the quality of graphic this game has to offer. Sadly though, seeing this video, why does it cross my mind as if Ubisoft lowered the quality of graphic details and density for Syndicate? To reduce the bug? And is there no walk-in interior for Syndicate? If there's any, is it any good compared to Unity's?
He mentioned dynamic day night cycle which unity clearly doesnt have.It only changes during missions or through the option menu. You can even see it in the video itself where Unity's shadows are still while syndicate's keeps moving.Learn proper English so you can understand what dynamic day night cycle means instead of harassing others.
In paris it is mostly day time it becomes night only after 10:30 pm at night.. Hence it HAS day and night cycle which goes slowly with respect to the location the game is set. STOP thinking yourself a genius u turd
+Slimy Finger okey then sheati your sword because it glitches unity is a smaller game syndicate doesnt have intiriors but the exstiriors are amazing and way more detailed
In my opinion Graphics: Lighting: Syndicate Particles: Unity (3D clouds) Shadows: Syndicate (On nVidia GPUs thanks to PCSS) Story: Originality: Tie Telling: Unity Main character(s): Syndicate Secondary characters: Syndicate Story length: Syndicate Gameplay (Details)/Controls: Responsiveness: Unity Ease of control: Unity Artificial intelligence: Syndicate Small details: Syndicate (On nVidia GPUs thanks to PhysX) Population density: Unity (R.I.P processors)
I am playing both the games.According to me Unity falls behind the syndicate in terms of graphics. Graphics look great in both but unity looked a little dull and whenever you go to a viewpoint the buildings far away look bad due to texture-loading and way too many NPC popping and syndicate looks great and the reflections you see on water puddles give more realistic look. During rain in syndicate light reflects from wet ground and less in case of unity. Coming to combat system syndicate killed the main aspect of sword playing. Now we cannot fight like we used to fight in previous titles and weapons like cane-sword, knuckles and khukri don't match with the game. Unity has good system and with good swordplay. Also gives us a chance to use axe and Spears which is present in previous titles. But in both games we cannot fight with hidden blades as well as with fists(Similar to using knuckles in syndicate) which completely removed the fun we had in previous games. Parkour is good in both the games but in syndicate it takes time to scale up and down the buildings and it's perfect in unity. Yet it removed the fun we had climbing the buildings in proper way in AC3,AC4 and Rogue. Other aspects-Unlike in Black flag where we get a chance to spend money and resources on upgrading hideout and jackdaw it is also present in syndicate but not in case of unity. In unity we can only buy buildings whereas in syndicate we can use resources for gang upgrades as well as crafting. In syndicate we get a chance to use transport to reach our destination faster like in previous titles where we use ships in Black Flag and Rogue and horses in previous ones before them. But its absent in unity. Missions-In unity we get skill points on completing the missions and in syndicate we get money and XP. In syndicate if you have good amount of money and XP then no one will complete secondary objectives whereas in unity we have to complete secondary objectives which reward us with a skill point or two. So unity allows users to complete secondary objectives which can allow us to upgrade characters easily. Side missions-Syndicate has diverse side missions as to unity(depends if you own a dlc) and it allows us to win certain items by completing missions which level up certain characters. And murder investigation quests are available in both titles but syndicate offers detailed analysis of characters involved in case as well as of evidence found. In syndicate we get to use two characters which allows us to use their certain abilities like Evie is specialised in stealth and Jacob is specialised in combat and In unity Arno is merely similar to both but with less skills available in game.(Disguise skill is the speciality in unity) Enemy NPCs in unity are more powerful as to in syndicate. If your character is knocked down in unity then enemies will attack you even if you are down unlike in syndicate. In syndicate enemies only try to attack after certain actions. Final-Syndicate is polished well in terms of graphics and collectibles and unity offers better single player as well as multiplayer experience so it's a draw for me. Good day to you and sorry for detailed analysis.
I feel the need to say this, because no one else has, The reason AC Unity failed was because they started building the game before they had the specs for the "next-gen" consoles, and they had guessed it on the trend of PS2-PS3 jump, sadly the PS4 and xbone were both disappointments(hardware wise) but they didnt want to scrap this as they had already put a lot of work into it, so they released this over-ambitious piece of work and as expected the consoles couldn't take it, and Ubisoft alone was blamed it, its sad what happened but maybe Ubisoft alone isnt at fault here, Sony and MIcrosoft both released underpowered Hardware and Ubi was just unwilling to dumb down their Graphical masterpiece...
You have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. AC4 was released on the PS4 and xboner. AC Unity is just shit because they rush the developers into making a new game within a 1 year timeframe and it turns out trash. They need to spend ATLEAST 2-4 years to make a good game, but sadly this will never happen because ubisoft are greedy fucks similar to ea and they need to shovel shit every year just to squeeze enough money out of assasins creed until the cash cow dies and then they will throw it away.
AC Syndicate is my favorite game because i love England and i also love the witty character of Jacob.. So, i enjoyed playing with him in each and every moment
+Fares FSB I am not sure if you got the key intention of the video, but Unity looks better than Syndicate, because of serveral things. But that costs performance and causes many issues such as texture popping, framedrops etc. Syndicate has been graphically reduced, but in a subtle way, to gain performance. I show some of these points :)
+Monkey D Luffy i doubt syndicate is more optimized, they didn't change quality, only quantity - a lot less population on streets, no accessible interiors. The AC engine (Anvil Next) hasn't had dramatic changes since its introduction back in 2012 (AC3 being the first one using it). Back then they boasted how it can show 3000 AIs with different models + textures at any given time (it was supposed to be used for the war battles in AC3, but if you remember they were quite miserable and I guess ACU was the first time they dared to try and put a lot more population, since it wouldn't be ran on x360/ps3 like AC3/AC4.
+Monkey D Luffy The graphics is truely next gen class OFCOURSE it's more laggy. U guys always says ubi is bad in optimizing but never consider what graphics they offer. Just think about GTA5, is it really that well optimized?? Nope, it's just last gen graphics, not even very good even on next gen. But everyone just care about the smoothness, hate the lag just becoz our hardware isnt good enough yet
in terms of tech AC unity is one of the most important games ever, i've never seen crowds in games before it's just stunning what kind of optimization work they've made, and it actually gives a lot of hope for the future
Mijangos Aroche Let me get this straight...Syndicate was fully prepared to have crowd congestion similar to Unity with the same tech, but you're suggesting the developers decided that because Victorian London "had more peace" most people stayed indoors? Wow that is brilliant. I'm glad we have Sherlock solving the case. Or you could stop defending/apologizing their ineptitude and look at photographs of Victorian London streets to see the reality where throngs of pedestrians walked around all day working and purchasing like the bustling city it always has been.
The fact that Unity and Black Flag were only a year apart is amazing in terms of graphics

We are 3 months from 2020 that makes Unity 5 YEARS OLD. And even for today after all AC games this game is the best looking and the most underrated too.

And underrated

Get real though, that's a 7 year old game and it's a REMASTER, not a REMAKE. I'm completely satisfied with how Assassin's Creed 2 turned out - the colors are sharper, the shadows deeper, and it's just a lot better looking then it was originally - so yeah it's a pretty good remaster. People are far to unrealistic with what they expect sometimes.

-Interior Walkable
-The city
-And Elise :)
Interior Walkable
Paris is beautiful (Best graphics of all games in history)
Fight's system
Customization
Parkour is more fluid and doesn’t require a grappling hook
Elise is dead
Game Master yes she dead
Zangetsu276 In this time in London there was'nt that much people lime the time in Paris so thats the reason why in unity are much more people

Don’t forget the only game with co-op
Zachary Michael Nolen Really?
Zachary Michael Nolen Unity is my favorite aswel!
Nolen Jr that’s a terrible argument that’s really just serving to say that you don’t like consoles. I like Unity too though.
Has anyone ever noticed that adds never take any time to buffer where is a video can take as long as fuck..
Here. The reason may be the lenght. Ads are shorter than most videos, lower resesolution and more compressed. But maybe there is more to it.
+MrGesellenstueck I doubt about the lower resolution. And most adds are either 30 seconds, or 2-3 minutes long.
yeah the add are always in hd where the actuall video plays first in 360p.
ad-blocker, yes?
it's an illuminati agenda
but syndicate looks so empty compared to unity
+naturbur and why the hell are all building closed? that seems so lazy by ubisoft
Unity it seems to me was a very accurate representation of the French revolution with all the mass amounts of people don't you agree?
+naturbur Building is closed in Syndicate because of the bug. The reason why Unity was so laggy, it's was because of this and the french revolution. ''Amount of people''
+naturbur Almost ever building was closed in the previous assassins creed games aswell.
And if it was not the case than it was one of the rare mission essential buildings that you sooner or later had to infiltrate.
But ubisoft never randomly opened up buildings in previous games excluding the "walkable" interiors that act as escape route in AC3.
+naturbur there is a lot of building is opened
Honestly I prefer unity, even though syndicate is so much smoother in terms of framerate, Unity has a special vibe and atmosphere to it, and I loved unity, it feels like a game that had so much potential and achieved 70% of that potential. Would’ve loved to see them continue improve upon the engine.
Syndicate isn’t smooth, it’s locked at 30fps on consoles meanwhile Unity has an fps boost
ive always liked unitys rustic charm, as that game was revolutionary. syndicate takes everything unity had and puts it at the bottom of its list. i feel the main reason why unity failed was because it was to far ahead of its time. you have 300~ civilians in one area in unity, and 20 in syndicate. the dense areas made unity feel special in its own way. i personally like unity a lot more because of its overall design.
+Zach Marik It wasn't ahead of its time, it was just trying to run before it could walk.
+Evil 1 Yes you said that.
Come on! :)

Unity is a better assassins creed game. people who choose syndicate over unity do it because of other things. unity is actually about finally being an assassin and playing assassin missions. for me the best assassin creed games are assassins creed 2, brotherhood, the original and unity. those are the only ones where you feel you are actually an assassin. now games like black flag, 3 and syndicate are good games on their own but not as assassins creed games they are more adventure games.
amen to you brotha!
juggernuts1000 "do it because of other things" I'm sorry what does an assassin feel like? I know it's your opinion blah blah...I understand Black Flag feels like a pirate game. But Syndicate is not that bad. "because of other things," bro Unity was glitchy, the story was bland, they had a british accent. Syndicate was innovative that's why it stood out, same with Black Flag and Ac3. "Finally being an assassin" the assassin creed games go through different eras where we're not just restricted to just walking and climbing, no they had to learn how to adapt and later on in the 21st Century, learn how to hack. You're just use to the notion of hiding by sitting in the benches and running forever.
Happuhkilling
its not my opinion but a fact. the assassin creeds i mentioned are the ones where you primarily focus on being an assassin and thats a fact. we get it that you and many more people love black flag 3 and all the others. i like them too. but you cant argue the fact they are less about being an assassin than the ones i have mentioned. again not an opinion, FACT. look at your argument, you are stating bugs in syndicate and crappy story, but you only prove my initial point. that maybe the other games are better than lets say unity as games, but not as assassin creed games. glitches, bugs or story has nothing to do with the subject here. we are not talking about which game is better overall but about which game is the better assassins creed. black flag is pirates of the carribean for all that i care to be honest. the others are not focusing on being an assassin and have just action missions majority of the time like any other action game. if you didnt call them assassins creed but gave them another name, nobody would even say they are about being an assassin.
unity was just full of glitches but still assasins creed games are different and really good.As of syndicate it did feel like an assasins creed game and it's great.
but your right the old games were great
What exactly are you trying to say assassins creed syndicate has walkable interiors just not as many as unity

nice gameplay if u play on pc cause at least on ps4 it can turn into a nightmare sometimes with huge framerate falls and lag. I simply dont understand why they didnt just turn down a little bit the npc density so the game could be smoother, or at least make it optional
I love the photorealistic graphics on Unity better
+Cool Mood (darkdrift1000) Todays graphics are still extremely far from being photorealistic. But i find Unitys interiors one of the best looking i have ever seen.
kung111cz You clearly don't know the definition of photorealistic.
Cool Mood ,,paintings or other images that are so realistic they are hard to distinguish from photos" Exact definition. I am right. Today's graphics are far from hard to distinguish from photos and real life.
+kung111cz Actually, a lot of racing games can pull it off easily.
noby cares about the graphics

The reason that there was lots of people in unity was because there was a massive revolution
We need a AC Brotherhood or AC 2 remastered with this generation graphics but with same physics and animations.
Won't happen. That would be cool tho
Just remember that unity had an even more dense npc population. It felt so much more lively to me.

+Warme Suppe Channel yeah, just believe it.
+battiterra Well they did probably work a long time to develop the engine. But it obviously needed even more time yeah.
+MancVandaL yeah right, now let us blame the consoles!
Syndicate is actually a great game. It has a GTA V feel. It feels more grounded and you don't go flying in parkour. This game is awesome.
Compared to Unity.
+SKETCH MAN you clearly didn't use the zipline much lol
+SKETCH MAN agreed!

@@theguy3129 ikr Paris was such a BEAUTIFUL place in AC unity
Anyone else not a fan of syndicates combat and levelling system?
J.Taylors I hate Syndicate, period.
Me
Me too.
the combat is ridiculous, it feels like a comedy movie
Its a big joke, 50 hit and the guys is still alive-_-
black flag was a great pirate game, assassins creed III had an amazing story. its a shame Connor doesn't get talked about much
Omfg the music kill around 6:10 is hilarious xD
I think the busy streets wouldn’t work in London with all the driving and stuff
love how they didn't show going into houses on syndicate and you can ive almost 100% complete the game and i can say there is heaps that you can go through
I have all the assassins creeds and in my opinion syndicate has slightly better graphics than unity but unity has a better storyline and I think is generally a better game
This is only my opinion but I hope this helped you
I know this is ur opinion and i respect that but the reason i think syndicate has a better story is because unity is pretty similar to ac2 because both main characters had their fathers die at a young age discover they are a part of something very big and go on to assassinate templars , while syndicate from the beginning the main characters know what to do and how to do it , they came to save London and they did
@@Mohaimenxo is syndicate a better game?
@@Miidnatt i cant answer that directly each one has a preference, i liked unity but imo syndicate was just a masterpiece 2 characters who ard twins ? Thats just amazing
Urr right Bilbo Baggins
@@Miidnatt yes it is
I haven't played Syndicate yet (although I've bought it), but that's because I haven't finished playing Unity.
I had to climb something in unity and my hands were stuck in the wall .-.
People often forget unity doesn't have dynamic day and night cycle while syndicate did
It has actually
Unity have a day and night cycle you turds
He mentioned dynamic day night cycle which unity clearly doesnt have.It only changes during missions or through the option menu. You can even see it in the video itself where Unity's shadows are still while syndicate's keeps moving.Learn proper English so you can understand what dynamic day night cycle means instead of harassing others.
In paris it is mostly day time it becomes night only after 10:30 pm at night.. Hence it HAS day and night cycle which goes slowly with respect to the location the game is set. STOP thinking yourself a genius u turd
@@aniketlahiri8296 why tf u labeling people a genius then calling em turd, what an asshole
i bought AC unity and far cry 4 instead of AC syndicate. did I make the right choice?
yeah
Nope enyoy that laggy gliychy oile of ass that is unity
+Danilo Otasevic they must of updated it because I still play it and it's fine.
+Slimy Finger okey then sheati your sword because it glitches unity is a smaller game syndicate doesnt have intiriors but the exstiriors are amazing and way more detailed
+Danilo Otasevic i agree with you but I've only ran into one glitch which was a woman feeling like she wanted to levitate for a while.
Unity is more crowded because it took place during the French Revolution! I preferred Unity.
It is sad that due to bugs and other errors, Unity has been undervalued
In my opinion

In syndicate we get to use two characters which allows us to use their certain abilities like Evie is specialised in stealth and Jacob is specialised in combat and In unity Arno is merely similar to both but with less skills available in game.(Disguise skill is the speciality in unity)
Enemy NPCs in unity are more powerful as to in syndicate.
Good day to you and sorry for detailed analysis.
holy shit
how much free time do you have
TheMudu alot i think I don't have much time I complete assassin creed 3 in 25 days or 28 days
TheMudu Its been a month or 2. I have not finished Syndicate and unity yet.
looks like you spent more time writing that than playing the two games
Unity is one of the most beautiful games ive played. Gonna try syndicate too
I highly recommend you try Origins too.
Salim Sadoune is origins good some people say it’s trash
@@harrisfootball982
If you like assassin's creed then it's good
@@harrisfootball982 Its an amazing game, you should definitely try it.
Don't waste time and money on Syndicate, buy something better. Syndicate's combat is super boring and the story was not interesting at all.
Syndicate also takes place something like 50 after Unity historically, and it’s London vs. Paris, so common…
Unity is better!
ummm...yeah
ummm.....
...
Martin Kolafa and it has online co-op!
+Peter Nelson Ikr unity is a lot beter than syndicate
I feel the need to say this, because no one else has,
The reason AC Unity failed was because they started building the game before they had the specs for the "next-gen" consoles,
and they had guessed it on the trend of PS2-PS3 jump, sadly the PS4 and xbone were both disappointments(hardware wise)
but they didnt want to scrap this as they had already put a lot of work into it, so they released this over-ambitious piece of work and as expected the consoles couldn't take it, and Ubisoft alone was blamed it, its sad what happened but maybe Ubisoft alone isnt at fault here, Sony and MIcrosoft both released underpowered Hardware and Ubi was just unwilling to dumb down their Graphical masterpiece...
Greenmonkey552 Unity was in development since Brotherhood came out.
it seems U dont know what u are talking about
Greenmonkey552 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assassin%27s_Creed_Unity#Development
It took so long to develop the new graphics engine
The Joker But the game itself was a rush job that they only made in one year.
+The Joker Just play Unity for PC it's far more epic.
In syndicate walkable interiors
But you just made him walk around the street 😟 pfft
Yeah man, if only this comparison is neutral tho
4:20 the nostalgia hits hard.
Yeah the lovely music ( That's why Ac 2 was best )
*4:20* laughs
unity has coop sadly syndicate doesnt have :(
we going back to the past. yeah thats ubisoft..
Unity has, to date, the best lighting I've seen in a game.
So Ubisoft thinks downgrading is the solution.
AC Syndicate is my favorite game because i love England and i also love the witty character of Jacob.. So, i enjoyed playing with him in each and every moment
It's really weird that AC Unity's graphics are better than AC Syndicate's.
It actually isn't
wow you really doing your best only to make UNITY look so bad
+Fares FSB I am not sure if you got the key intention of the video, but Unity looks better than Syndicate, because of serveral things. But that costs performance and causes many issues such as texture popping, framedrops etc. Syndicate has been graphically reduced, but in a subtle way, to gain performance. I show some of these points :)
+Candyland None of these thing happening on my PS4 I guess bad PC port?
+Jason cause the unity on PS4 looks worse than unity on PC. And so does syndicate
Yeah..but is worth bad frame rate and bugs? I don't think so..
Jason bad framerate on pc? Nah bro. Mine always runs at 50-60fps. Bugs? I haven't experienced any bugs so far.
I loved Unity..I hope they make another one like unity❤!
With Shay Patrick Cormac and Arno
Why everyone likes unity I like syndicate
@@carljohnson8704 I like ACU and ACS but I prefer Unity.. maybe because I lived in Paris lol.
I have just purchased AC UNITY from eBay for £9 I truly loved that game, and I am going to play all again.
lame Unity was better but not optimized
hnitg
+Monkey D Luffy Yea I guess the devs expected more from the new gen hardware... They played it safe with Syndicate, unfortunately.
capsaicen true, the next gen hardware is not even impressive
Syndicate is still living my heart.Characters are so nice. Evie is my favorite assassin xD i like female assassins pog
Unity = serious story
Syndicate= have fun
in terms of tech AC unity is one of the most important games ever, i've never seen crowds in games before it's just stunning what kind of optimization work they've made, and it actually gives a lot of hope for the future
The population density in Syndicate is abhorrent.
Meanwhile Unity has more on screen than Syndicate has in 3 whole blocks.
The french revolution had over population in the Paris' streets. The victorian London had a lot more of peace
Or you could stop defending/apologizing their ineptitude and look at photographs of Victorian London streets to see the reality where throngs of pedestrians walked around all day working and purchasing like the bustling city it always has been.
haha ok so
SlyRy more people means less fps...
4:54 Bugisoft Confirmed.
I loved both but i like syndicate story more.
Unity is the best AC game for playing with friends.
