Do the sword of eden
Do you have any of these for sale ?? Dave at 55.
hey do you have the layout for the spring mechanism ?
It's funny how Jacob is the one shown to use the cane sword in promotional material, but it's actually Evie who has it as a default weapon.
u r right
bro
hahahahhahahhahahah
He said default
lol you're right
I love how Ilya is always like "This part is going to be quite difficult" *does it seemingly effortlessly anyways*
These are some astoundingly-talented individuals. They know their craft well and execute it with professional precision. My hat goes off to their team.
Lmao
I've never seen anyone rock a top hat as easily as ilya
When Ilya is on screen, it usually means that he's about to do something that most others wouldn't even attempt.
Except Jacob frye
If I knew you I'd be offended cuz I rock a top hat pretty much every day
Have y'all never seen Slash from Guns and Roses then? 😂💀💯
Heisenberg
the reason u can use a cane sword is because in Victorian london is was considered proper to use a cane it would look weird carrying around a big sword around like the middle ages so they disguise a sword as a cane.
Dakota Foy It was also illegal to carry weapons.
it was in fact illegal to carry a sword (the idea was to cut down on impromptu street duels and make bar fights less lethal). Thus, to disguise the fact that they were carrying blades (more of a dirk than a sword imo), the Assassins hid them in canes. You are quite right in saying that it was considered proper for gentlemen to carry a cane whether or not they had any medical necessity for it. It was considered an accessory, almost like a piece of jewelry. There are historical examples of cane-swords, although they are usually longer and do not have a hidden scythe blade at the bottom. The pressure-activated mechanism for the scythe blade that they made however, did exist in the 19th century: but it would have been cutting edge technology at the time.
@@sophiejones7727 the assassins do have cutting edge tech nost of the time so that makes sense
I've played through this game like 3 times and I never knew the cane sword had a syth in it, I always thought he was just hitting them
Its spelled scythe
There is always a master.
@@Kim_Witt "There is always a bigger fish"
That engraving was awesome, well done long haired guy.
+Matthew Blenkey also his Hat looked cool af
Cane swords were more Evie's thing, Jacob preferred knuckle dusters.
If you played that way.
J024 I didn’t use either of those for Jacob I used the kukri it seemed to fit his murder personality better
@@travis7patriot653 Also a good weapon yeah.
Evie's Character starts with the cane sword and Jacob starts with the knuckle dusters but it doesn't matter what you give themI have both of my characters using the cane sword that's in this video so it doesn't matter
Travis7patriot+ Same, the Kurki just kinda works better
Is it just me or does the "eagle" head look more like a vulture?
i thought it was a vulture but then i remembered assassins love eagles and flying like one (my bad... falling with style)
Hot & Spicy Designs Well Vultures are the/a symbol of death so . . . .
its vulture indeed
It is indeed a vulture skull..... an eagle's cranium is fuller behind the eyes, to hold the larger brain (why Patriots always win out over the greedy, cadaver-picking politicians... bigger brains!!)
what also makes it odd is that Vultures are one of the Templar symbols.

Do ice the sword of house stark from game of thrones or altair sword from assassin's creed
I love ASSASSINS Creed, bit I prefer your work dude!!
God of war 3 blade of Olympus
Fire sword from Ninjago
Please make HF blade (MGR:R)
Summary of all MaA:R episodes: We’re going to build this because you asked for it. We do this, this and this. Then Ilia does something crazy using tools he made himself out of ancient metals from a temple in the sahara and makes it look easy. Then we attack milk bottles with the weapon. Ilia wears a top hat or some other crazy article of clothing.
+Dylan O Brien See? This is what I needed - a perfect description of the whole series. Thank you.
+Dylan O Brien Nothin wrong with it
Matt Stagmer Oh, come on - you think he's talking badly about your show? Obviously it was a joke.
It was a joke? I love the show!
+Matt Stagmer Ahh, but what KIND of bar? What's it made of? That's the question. ;-) Cool seeing you around! Всем привет to you and the rest of the gang!
I like how it says that its Jacob's even though at the beginning of the video its mainly shown Evie, to add on the first wepons you are given to each character and what they were described as were brass kuckles for Jacob due to his more agressive aproach to combat, ane the cane sword for Evie due to hermore stealthy aproach to combat and the cane largest atribute is its ability to stun enemies allowing escape if needed. But ya know, Ubisoft sponsored this so who am I to talk....... *sips tea*
*sips tea* like a true English fella 🍵 idk why but I only just realized through your comment that the cane sword was indeed the perfect weapon for Evie: it's like her - stealthy, skinny and beautiful. Looks harmless at first glance but super lethal when she sticks it through your skull. It totally fits her character!
*bites crumpet*
You know they made the video before the game was released
Okay but in canon both the twins have the cane sword and the kukri blade and brass knuckles. They literally have them all. The game however makes you choose. So no the cane sword isn’t just for Evie, it’s up to the player. Yes it fits more to her stealth, but like Jacob was the one being advertised in all the trailers, not Evie. So of course it’ll be “Jacob’s cane sword”
Ilya's such a boss.
I always thought it was spelt Eliah
+Chantapat Sheanakul He's russian so it definately isn't Eliah. Can't you tell by his accent?
Chantapat Sheanakul Confession: I checked the description to make sure my spelling was right.
Let me just use this 1000 years old ivory... and use it to make a mold for our regular bronze.
+GregTom2 yea, its like throwing the chocolate and eating the plastic rapper.
+GregTom2 Yeah, Just why did they do that!? any ideas about it?
+Ivan Konishi This has been answered quite elaborately in earlier comment posts.
+Ferenc Gregor Thanks! Do you know how can I find them, besides rolling down forever?
+Ivan Konishi Matt Stagmer wrote that it holds the detail great and they still have the master.
you have to do corvo's blade from dishonored... and crossbow and mask
YESS
+Chi Kim why "please"
+Chi Kim do i have to punch you. Dishonored is an amazing game
+Chi Kim sounded like you were like "oh please.. fucking nerd"
Leevi Lehto Dude Its chill, 3am thoughts always get us fucked up lol
I'm kind of bummed that a thousand year old fossil is used only as a template for a mold. Is there a surplus of fossilised walrus tusks? Would it not have been easier or cheaper to carve it out of wax?
Amazing work, none the less!
Thys Murray seriously, I think there had to be some sort of misexplanation there though.
Thys Murray I like your profile picture. Elfen lied is my favorite anime. I wonder if they would ever make Lucy's helmet.
i think they originally wanted an ivory head to the build, but then realised either it wouldn't hold a screw being tapped into it to hold the blade, or something else, and so switched
Wow, that's what bums you out? At least it wasn't a tusk gotten through poaching live animals.
@@Project_-jq7jw yah, cause Thys thought it could be made out of wax instead. You're just sad inside, aren't ya? :(
And yes, it bums me out as well that it was made out of ancient ivory instead of wax, or another "dead" material.
Seeing Ilya with earphones makes me wonder what kind of music you guys listen to while working...
+Antonio Rocha Oh you know Ilya is either listening to screamo, industrial, or classical music. There is no in-between!
+Caleb Faulkner you never know man, he could be listening to classic music or some kawaii desu anime intro or even some rap, who knows...
+Caleb Faulkner No one listens to screamo.... I'd like to think he's listening to K-Pop.
Probably metal.
+gamerslap goddamnit
The Cane sword is less like a sword and more like a slightly longer dagger.
Bobby Blair soo a short sword?
+Yi Wan Chan lmao
Bobby Blair but it looks so cool and stylish
The character is an assassin, if anything it makes more sense
slightly? have you actually seen a dagger in your life dude? This is like three times the size of a dagger. Also I don't think a normal sword would fit in a cane...
Greatsword of Artorias its such a beautiful and detailed blade. DARK SOULS NEEDS SOME LOVE!
3:02 THEY ARE TEMPLARIES!!!
Artorias Greatsword from DarkSouls
Yas
The uncursed one, yes.
+dvssk8er3 ARTORIAS!!!
+Kikonilo Or Moonlight Greatsword!
+Kikonilo I've been asking for so long. It's by far the most beautiful sword I have ever seen, plus it's actually a practical design although it is kind of big and the handle runs a little skinny compared to the blade
Called It.
+LordDraconical My Lord, It was a surprise to see you here. Name is Aristotle Cormero btw. you'll see more of me in the future
Aristotle Cormero lol
@@aristotlecormero6677 You don't have to introduce yourself if you have it as your account name, that's kind of the point of that.
i think it would be amazing if you do a Saw Cleaver from Bloodborne
+Eternum Hm....That might not be soo bad.
+Eternum Chikage too!
+Muramasa Ryososhi Saw Cleaver cause it's the most iconic weapon of the game
Burial blade would be better because it isn't boring
+Jack Brannick Or even better, the moonlight blade.
one of my very favorite games, definately a masterpiece you created there ! congrats
Verdun is better
this has got to be one of the most devastating weapons in assassin's creed
The Cunning Experiment The most lethaly weapons is the Kukri.
Pawazel - De tout et n'importe quoi ! then there's also that. but in my eyes it's more dangerous in a more creative way. in my eyes, of course.
The Cunning Experiment | ah...ok
Well, of course it would be dangerous in your eyes. A short distance in you would be blind, a little bit more and you would be dead.
Jacob Maxwell IDK...the Phantom Blade from Unity is pretty devestating.
I love watching the projects that involve a lot of detailing work and also the kinds that need more intricate carving and jewel bezeling; I did a few years of jewelry work in a class so I really appreciate it :)
"You've asked for it. Also Ubisoft paid us to market their new AC reskin."
***** I don't know anything about a new game, can you enlighten me? I've heard some rumors about the old game getting bit of visual rework but that's all.
+Dominik Spilka seems like ubisoft has really been pushing the promotions of this game.... probably trying to compensate for something.... shitty buggy unoriginal game perhaps?
Jayce Grimm yeah, well as long as MaA get money from it, it's just a necessary evil I suppose.
+Dominik Spilka Can u take your AC hate somewhere else, this vid is for people who actually love AC,
StephySon wrong, this vid is for people who like to see cool stuff forged in real life. I can hate wherever I want, you don't need to read it.
Please, do Brisingr from Eragon. Or Zar'Roc. I would love that.
+Lucario's LEGO l MOCs, set reviews and How-To's
Yes, but not Zar'Roc from the movie : Brisingr or Zar'Roc from the books, they are very well described, especially Brisingr.
brisingr would be great
+Lucario's LEGO l MOCs, set reviews and How-To's Personally I'd prefer Naegling (probably spelled wrong, it's been a while) or the sword Galbatorix used, based off of what I remember that sounded pretty nice looking.
+Sam Parker you spell Naegling right. but the cool thing about brisingr is the fact they could replicate the forging process too. Naegling just isn't described well enough but it'd still be cool.
+Bubblemage1 Just have to get some meteorite.
Rose Quartz's sword from Steven Universe.
+TheNalvor That would be sweet!
+TheNalvor Want to see this aswell.
+TheNalvor Agreed!
+TheNalvor Cannot thumbs-up that enough.

Zabuza's Executioner Blade!!!
Yasss that would be sick
they already made one
RaccoonManGamer no they didn't
+Meaty Gorak Yes. They did. Not in reforged, but in their old original series of Man At Arms
CorePlaysEverything no they really didn't, you might be getting it mixed up with Cloud's Buster Sword or Ichigo's Zangetsu Sword, which both look really similar to Zabuza's Executioner Blade
i dont understand why you could cut it out of 1000 year old ivory and then use bronze
+awesomesauce Yeah, this literally makes no sense to me. Why couldn't they have just used wood or something? I'm no expert at all but I'm not ignorant enough to not know that was basically a massive waste of a very rare material.
+Logical Reason This has been answered elaborately already a few times. Make no,mistake, nothing was a waste.
+SZOBRÁSZ STUDIO Care to elaborate?
+Logical Reason
In regard to some questions about why the use of the fossil material for the cane sword head. Here are a few facts;
The use of" Fossil"material, has quite a few assets. It is a very high quality and stable carving material, that receives high detail that will not be damaged in mold making processes, and retains its full value as an original carving in a high quality material. It does NOT lay to waste. It remains 100% intact as a high quality hand carved original. The material is thousands of years old, and harvested from the glacier permafrost layers when the active layer melts once a year, exposing literally tons of various ancient materials. These are extinct species. These regions during the period that the material originates was harshly uninhabitable to humans for the most part, resulting in scarce if any interaction. In other words. In any remote interaction, they would have been used by primitive cultures for survival. Thus, any fossil materials from these periods that had human interaction, would be discovered "artifacts". Not blank material. Fossil materials actually promote the non use of modern ivories, as they are strictly regulated and all gleaned from extinct species. Therefore easily identifiable as such.
The choice of using this material is relevant to the concept of the cane sword. As Matt mentioned in the video, the cable being used was turn of the century. This material is a popular traditional material for Victorian period cane toppers. That is another factor that was considered. So why then, do a bronze reproduction for the build? It is a dual purpose. 1. use the traditional material for the original, and cast the bronze for the build, to keep consistent with the cane sword look and feel that Ubisoft is producing. Using this material, RETAINS the value and integrity of the original "Master, and Makes it very relevant to the context of a Victorian cane sword. Frankly, it would be more wasteful, to put the time and expense into carving a disposable material when you think about it. Time factors also play in. I can carve faster with more precision, than most can model a wax. A couple of other reasons, is that true carving is a process of subtraction techniques unlike " Modeling" a piece. Thus, the natural progression of carving and the subtleties that result, are different, and more traditional look to the concept of the design. What the original will be utilized for now is not in my discretion. However, it certainly is not wasted, and it's value only increases, not depreciates. As was stated in comments by BKS/MAA, there were plans for the master original that preceeded the build as well.
+SZOBRÁSZ STUDIO I still think it's a waste of ancient resources though...
Why not just take the tusk of a dying animal instead?
OMG I WANT THAT THING SO MUCH

what was the point of using the most likely expensive as hell petrified Ivory Tusk for a mold of wax?
+Matt Stagmer wouldn't clay be just as good, if not better?
Thank you for the reply Matt! it's just when I saw you use it I was hoping it would go on the cane even though the cane head in the game is Metal. so I was a bit dumbfounded.
+Matt Stagmer Oooh that makes sense.
+Matt Stagmer eh, fair enough.
+Matt Stagmer That was my question too, Thanks! Yeah, that ivory head looked awesome. Make yourself a cane and use that as the head! Your choice to put a sword in it or not. :)
I wish they would actually sell stuff
ikr! they would make good money and good profit
Adam Davies they do sell swords, just not the ones shown on the show
Kult of Athena is better
Adam Davies Kult of Athena might have better delivery times/ service etc.but BK&S sell custom weapons and armor, whereas KoA only sell items that are mass produced by other companies.

After a while returned to this video, because I'm in love with the cane sword, the design, the features.

I just wanted to study physics, but then you uploaded another super awesome video :(

In honor of RWBY's 3rd season, make Wiess's sword
+Jacob Lippman Weiss's sword is so much more practical to make than the other RWBY weapons... since it actually looks like a weapon and not some kind of crazy transformer.
Yes, make Weiss's sword from RWBY!

dKJustwon It's also silver and hella shiny and cool.
+Jacob Lippman why not Rubys or Somting else from Rwby Series
+Jacob Lippman dude, that'd be to easy. I think they should make blakes sword. tat would be more of a challenge, and the end result would look amazing

do the dishonored foldable sword and mask!!!
Grim Reaper i would like to see this
Nice work on the sword guys! For your next project, you should forge Thanos's Infinity Gauntlet! It would be an excellent challenge indeed.
They carved the eagle head in fossil ivory just to create a form when they could have simply used a carve able plastic? That's one way to drive the cost of doing business up a lot.
I agree. I think that maybe the thought behind it was that it could be an ivory pommel/handle but then they decided to stick closer to the original maybe?
TMI dude
they probably used it for something else but wanted to get footage and show an interesting style
Bro you should totally make a page to compete with theirs.
They probably use it to make a lot of copy's for something
I can’t believe that you guys have finally built this. Me and my sister love to play and act like we are the assasins. I don’t get to hang out with my sister a lot considering that i had to be striped away from my mom because she used to not have enough money to fend for me and her altogether , but i hope i didn’t make you cry or anything i just would love to have something like this to remember my mom and sister when i have to go back to my grandmas. If you could, me and my family would LOVE the cane. It’s fine if you can’t i just love your guys channel and try to do as much as i can, thank you so much.

What's cool about this iteration is that the sheath is lethally functional too
I love how you called it "Jacob's cane sword" but in the little demo video Evie is the one using it.
RWBY Volume 3 is out now so a RWBY build would be awesome!
+Xander B Considering they did the Gunblade from FF VIII then Weiss' sword or Adam Taurus' sword would be perfectly possible.
shigiaroah Weiss' sword would be easy, Jaune's sword would be easier. Adam's sword would be pretty simple too, it's just getting the red colour, and the gun sheath would be just a sheath probably
+Xander B they must make ruby's scythe-gun !!!!!!!! and guys all RWBY weapon's but Jaune's are half guns
+Feather Dungeon Crescent Rose is un-buildable because of its transformation system. The handle/rifle barrel collapses upon itself using fantasy /transformers level stuff. Only Blake, Weiss, Adam, Jaune, and a few others like Emerald whose weapons do not have wild transformations, or don't transform at all, could be built using Man At Arms forging/CNC style building.
+D Chappell I know that I was lazy to name it
Considering it's Evie's starter weapon, is it really Jacob's cane sword?
I always saw him as more of a brawler
That cane sword is so stylin, please keep making awesome and attractive builds.
Ludwig's Holy Blade - Bloodborne
Please do this
For me any trick weapon would suffice. Kirkhammer would also be pretty sweet.
The blade of mercy and burial blade form Blood Borne
Question... Why did you use the expensive ivory instead of the regular wax that you usually use for the eagle head? Isn't it way more expensive?
+bummer6 it was explained and honestly people will keep asking just find the answer yourself cause it's getting boring already to say it over and over again but long story short there's a good reason for it.
+Zakusho Bullshit. They explained why they stylized it to suit the material they were working with (fossilized walrus tusk), but at no stage did they explain why they used ivory rather than wax to do they sculpting in the first place.
Then you clearly haven't been paying attention. I'm talking about the comment section not the damn video.
+Zakusho Then it's a valid question. Not addressed in video or description. The fuck am i scrolling though almost 3,000 comments to find the answer to that.

MONADO FROM XENOBLADE
Eyeland from TF2?
+Toxic Cookie Its not unique. Just a claymore.
+Oscar, Knight of Astora what about the Blue Moon GreatSword from Dark Souls 2, is that unique?
This is the absolute PERFECT sword cane! The blade's broad enough that it'll cut as well as thrust effectively, long enough to do serious damage, but not so long and unwieldy as a rapier blade. It's able to get in closer when needed.
And if you do need to keep your foe at a distance, that's where the scythe blade comes into it's own. Certainly capable of slashes, but far better suited to more of a pickaxe motion, granted the locking mechanism and the blade itself is strong enough. Makes for a lovely hook as well to ensnare an opponent's limbs and disarm them before the coup de grace with the main blade.
Seriously, make this in a sivertoned metal instead of bronze, and have it be a raven's head instead of an eagle's (Soy CUERVO, bitches! lmao) and I'll sell a kidney to buy it!

+Jack Kluchinski They are readily available through select suppliers of carving materials.
i like how Matt uses a tophat to keep his hair out of he way while smithing.

I'm pretty sure it's Eevie's cane sword rather than Jacob's cane sword
Hanzo's bow from Overwatch
Please do Hawkeyes bow from The Avengers:Age of Ultron!!

You have to do Perseus's god sword from Clash of the Titans 2009
you guys do my dream job. Also do Abraaz's sword from Assasins Creed Cronicles
This could be a nice family relic to pass down from generations
10:18 you can see something flying off the cane. Hope you guys found that part lol
All that trouble to make it perfect... piece of bronze falls of after stabbing plastic bottle, yikes.
Thats the rest of the cane behind his back.
That collectible is horrendous! I bet a lot of people were disappointed when they bought it.
History Channel
Jacob is such an underated badass
Very interesting to watch the process. Incredible artistry by the builders!
make Destiny's 3 exotic heavy weapon Swords Dark Drinker, Bolt Caster, And the Raze Lighter Now Here's the challange
Tony swatten did the habbit Sting weapon Not only did he make that with a lot of detail he Made it glow Blue lets see if you can carry on the travelers Light into the forge and make not only the crystal guard piece blue but the actually blade of each sword its Elemental color
Dark Drinker: Void Purple
Bolt Caster: Sky Blue & Sapphire blue
Raze Lighter: Hot rot orange
But the sword has to still show that Nice shine of the travelers Light
Are you ready Man At Arms? the traveler is awaiting your answer
P.S. the sword can't be plasma cut!
one more thing If you could make the Hunter knife from destiny that'd be awesome to see it as a functioning death threat on the test field
How about Nero's Red Queen from Devil May Cry 4. or something from RWBY.
make me a girlfriend pleese
Out of metal?
I don't think that's Possible
OML lololol
Fullmetal Alchemist
Even god ilya doesnt have the skill to do something that impossible
If I could buy this, I would. It's just about one of the most beautiful weapons I've seen.
This isnt an eagle, its a vulture. 19th century assassins used it in real life. And this version hasn't got that eyebrows.-You could decorate your cane swords. This shows your status.
