Randy, all of the videos you have produced are so beautifully put together and the music sets the tone for what we watch exquisitely. I'm a big fan.....
OMG! Your videos are so impressive! You choosed the best music for supporting the atmosphere! Could watch it a thousand times.. feels like daydreaming. So Wonderful! :)
The Universes connection with each and everyone one of us is all encompassing and total. The sight of it all humbles me and loves me at the same time :-) Thank you for all your pleasurably hard work in getting this to us, So Beautifully beyond words. What a part you played, congratulations :-)
What do you say when you're left speechless .. Thank you , woow , great , cool ? My little girl always wanted to be an astronaut ,and every time we watch one of your videos , it feels like she's one step closer. .. Dream on, Go on , get closer to the stars.
From the 3:03, I just do not understand how you managed to record the Milky Way on clear day with Sun in forward, really fascinanting. Awesome shots and great video editing.
the moonlight in a sky full of stars, so bright the ground is perfectly lit, talkin about 3:10 or so, the green banding at 3:16 is really nice too, atmospheric pressure waves and skyglow... finally get to see how good my monitor actually is, with a 1440p stream, WOOT. excellent vid!
Fabulous work! I was wondering how you exposed the sunset while still capturing the milky way. It looks like a blend. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it.
What is it? - at 3:20 in the middle of the screen. The movie even slows down (probably for this effect to be seen) and then speeds up again after the effect ends. Looks like meteor but its hard to tell with this frame rate.
Nathillien from the description - Meteors With Persistent Trains 2:29 very fast and short persistent train to right of the Milky Way, a better one at 3:20
Persistent Train at 3:19! Very cool!!! Is the key to capturing these by using a shorter exposure time of 10-15 seconds? I typically use a 20-30 second exposure and I am thinking that its more about actually capturing the appropriate meteor that has this phenomenon. Am I on track with this thinking?
como hacen para que la cámara se mueva lento y el fondo rápido? osea por ejemplo: 2:51 la cámara sube en cámara lenta y el fondo sigue moviéndose rápido les agradecería si me explican o me pasan algún vídeo :) :)
I am pretty sure I didn't take a breath for four solid minutes. Great compositions. Tons of work! Total respect!!!
WOW that thunderhead @1:25 is spectacular. It really looks like a furious white eagle charging into the wind.
Randy, all of the videos you have produced are so beautifully put together and the music sets the tone for what we watch exquisitely. I'm a big fan.....

That is a crescent moon, not the sun. You can't see any stars when the sun is up.
For best experience, watch it in 144p

Adam S It is long exposure (30 seconds) and high ISO (6400).
dakotalapse can you recommend any books that can help me along my way love landscape and nature photography, but I am just learning
+dakotalapse What app are you using for a camera app to allow you to adjust the ISO and exposure?
+Joshua Banks I don't use any app, the night shots are all manual, the sunset AE in camera
Thank you for sharing.
At 2:51 - Is that near Bear Butte in North Dakota? I visited that little abandoned shack if so. :D
