ik its not xDefs focus an all, but having no killstreaks kinda removes the purpose of a low skill ceiling shooter. In csgo, valolrant or overwatch i dont need killstreaks or any reward for that matter because those games have such a high skill ceiling that the process of winning a game and doing well is satisfying enough. But when you play a very casual shooter like xDef the shooting wont ever be satisfying because oyu learn it in 5 minutes, so killstreaks is what gives you the octane you need.
I feel bad lol. But I completely stopped playing XDEFIANT for BO6. In BO6 I actually get camos, I get calling cards, I get emblems, I get actual XP. In XDEFIANT, the only thing there is to do is be at the top of the leader board. There is 0 progression. I am working a full time job and I still have diamond AR’s and SMGs with snipers on their way and with a few pistols gold. In XDEFIANT nothing gets achieved for putting time into the game. There is nothing to keep me playing. 500 levels for each gun is retarded. 100 headshots, and then a different challenge is so much better. And when I got my nuke, I actually got a calling card to display for other people to see that I got a nuke. I got a calling card for getting 7 executions in a single game.

On the PC subject that's one of my biggest gripes with crossplay existing. Yes, there's the M&K VS Controller debate, and yes, it's an objective fact that PC forces console players to deal with more hackers, but if you have more frames, you have an objective advantage. Joe Six Pack and Timmy No Thumbs are at an objective disadvantage if they're playing at 60-120FPS and the dude on his $7000 PC is at over 300 frames. There is only so much skill you can employ when the other guy moves like the matrix versus you. I wish devs would just make a console-only crossplay instead of the "input-based matchmaking"
The difference from 60-120 fps isn’t as big as 120-300. It’s negligible. Factually, there are more cheaters on console than PC. The amount of cronuses and xims sold is beyond outrageous. Meanwhile a cheater on PC has walls and aimbot but are rare to come by compared to the script kiddies. From the 300 hours I have. I can only think of two instances where I ran into someone aimbotting. And with sbmm not existing the average player will not be able to discern the difference between a good player and a cheater. It’s so annoying hearing people complain about cheaters yet they have zero clue what they’re talking about because they suck. We basically are at the point where this console vs PC debate needs to stop. The average PC players has a $1k rig at best. Not even high end builds are $7k 😂

Hackers just have to hack a free game vs hackers have to jailbreak a current firmware on Xbox or PlayStation, install custom firmware, bypass Sony or Xbox and hopefully not get console banned. Then bypass Call of Duty. There is hacks on PC immediately when games come out just like how BO6 beta had hacks

We talked about this a long time ago. As long as you're happy with XDefiant and the other games you enjoy, there’s no limit to what you can do. I distance myself from negativity, like forcing myself to create content I don’t enjoy or embracing toxicity. Let me say again, I don’t play XDefiant or COD-I’m a Quake player. Quake changed my perspective, showing me that skills and fun have no limits. When you adopt the mindset of 'I have to do this or people won't notice,' that becomes the problem. So don’t push yourself-just enjoy creating content.

Take that break man. Do whatever you need to do to prevent burnout. I definitely ventured into playing other games and even picked up a few shows to watch. Whenever I get the itch I will come back to XDefiant and play a few matches. Usually check out the shop and knock out the dailies
I left when they broke the audio at the beginning of season 2. Pretty clear fixing it is a low priority for the devs, so playing this game a low priority for me.
Thanks for watching. XDefiant on PC is significantly more responsive compared to console in my experience. If you have a PC, give it a try. The best comparison example I can give is the difference in how Black Ops 3 and Black Ops 4 felt on PS4 compared to XBOX. If you had both and played on both with those games, you will understand.
Try it on ps5 where it’s still running at 60fps for most as many people can’t use 120 fps on ps5 without special ports on their monitors it’s stupid lol. I upgraded and the difference is night and day.
man i'm just having fun with the game. i probably will be thru the end of the battle pass. I know its not for everyone but I like grinding for Pyroclastic. I dont mind repetition as much as the next guy if I happen to be having fun
Im running a RX 6600 xt with a 144hz 1440p monitor, i found that fixing the FPS to 120 instead of variable up to 144 and it keeps the game fluid and 99% no lag or jitters. All other settings are medium to low, it works for me.
Season 3 needs to be solid. They are dripping the maps fine they want to do that, but everything else needs to be there. Season 2 was half the stuff they promised didn't come or didn't come right away. Season 3 one map ok but killcam etc better be there otherwise they really don't care and its done.

For some reason I get more fps at 1440p then 1080p, I’m using the 7900gre gpu and 9 5900x cpu with 165 hz dell curved monitor. But gaming on pc is way better than console.
The pc cheating situation is really gonna kill the game for me. It's honestly my biggest issue right now. I refuse to even attempt ranked until something get addressed. It's to the point I see the same few cheating players every night and it becomes frustrating.
I’ve played this for 8 or so hours on PC but the desync is bad like it is on COD. Hit detection is also very poor and inconsistent. I get 200 fps and have good stable fibre broadband but this doesn’t play well. Such a shame because I hoped it would be better than BO6…
I came back after a Month and the dying around corners is worse than even and the netcode is also fucked again. I have no idea what they are doing but the game is done with those devs so I guess its time to wait for Delta Force to come out.

Did the stupid mistake of re installing the game this weekend. Matching with cross play, in Europe during daytime took 45 + seconds. And the netcode is still broken. The tkk because of the different health between classes, taken fire damage, and the delay in game ( netcode issue) and not least Getting sniped two meters behind cover and install die. It was a quick uninstall. What a pice of crap game. Holy f.
You should disable Vsync. But I don't think that is the "problem" here. I am pretty sure you have a bug where it limits you to 138FPS, no matter if you have frame limiter on or not... If you were playing with Vsync, it should still get to 144, and not be stuck on 138. Try going into video settings, changing you Hz down to 120 or something like that, and back to 144. And you will get all your FPS. I would say at least 200+ with your PC

I played bo6 and man that shit feels terrible, camping 24/7, the movement feels clunky, tried cancel reloading and im just stuck staring at the guy spamming R2 and no bullets, the maps look nice but the layouts are completely trash. The only cool thing they got are the weapon skins but then again that’s why people are camping so much cause they want to get these bs camo challenges done and I feel like Xdefiant needa some like that but i fear it would turn Xdefiant into a camping sim if they add bs camo challenges like, multi kills with the same mag or stupid shi like that which promotes camping

I found playing differnt games helps with burn out, at least recently.

I took a break and restarted Skyrim special edition even playing more space marine 2. This game is boring to me at this point
