Right?! I'm so happy I got to confirm all the misconceptions in my head about these skills.
I'm gonna be leveling up with his training program soon so let me know if you're down to join me~
We're gonna start training together at the Santa Anita Park EVERY Monday evening this month (October 2024).
We gotta do this for your drumming brother 😜

Calisthenics is great. It's literally you vs yourself.

Just like the Game of Life. We are competing against our past self.
Stephen said it best, "I've been training for 5 years and counting and I never plan to stop."
      Lets keep progressing together 🔥

      I'd say it's you vs gravity 😁

@@michaelorlev9925 we're against gravity the day we are conceived in the womb until the day we leave this earth and become weightless~

Bro, this makes me want to get back into calisthenics!! I was so close to getting muscle ups a few years ago. Good luck with your challenge!!

Seriously! Makes me wonder why we even stop.. I keep pausing my progress on these skills, but no more.
Imagine what discipline and consistency can do to our body, mind, and soul. I lost muscle up 8 months ago because I stopped practicing. Days turned to months turned to almost a year of no practice. But I told myself to take the steps forward and tried multiple reps, multiple random frustrating days, and finally being able to do them again this month feels phenomenal.
I would highly recommend everyone learn the muscle up ONCE in their life. Once you understand it, it's like riding a bike. It becomes muscle memory. Like backflip. It becomes easy :)
You got the muscle up for sure! You look strong and with proper technique you can get it before the end of the year~

i did boxing when i was a teenager (around into my 15 to 19 years old) and i was pretty strong i could do like 10 pull ups in that time, now im 29 and im very weak i can do like 5 chin ups and only 1 pull up, i started training a week ago calisthenics and you impressed me with those muscle ups is not easy you are strong 💪

Bro! Muscle ups are all technique-based so if you practice with good technique in mind you will definitely get it! I learned it by practicing randomly and trying to understand the physics. I can do roughly 3-4 sets of 10 pull ups and can only do 2 muscle ups in succession.. so I’m far from strong in my eyes, but it’s great to see others like yourself aim to improve their strength like myself. Thanks for sharing! Reach out to Stephen on IG if you wanna start training with us in-person/online 👊🏼
