Thank you Robby for sharing your journey with mental health! As a veteran I have struggled with a lot of mental health and other disabilities since leaving the military and it’s hard af!
This week was my first week back in the gym and I had a miserable mental health day Thursday! Friday morning I finished out my 5th day in a row at the gym and I didn’t leave until I felt better! I told myself while working out if I felt the racing thoughts or memories pop up to stay longer! I was at the gym for more than 2hr and I felt great when I left!
My goal is to compete one day but I know it’s going to take me continuously pushing through!
So again thank you for your vulnerability and persistence!

Where he's in his house, he's in a controlled environment and he can eat well nutritiened healthy meals. I trained for 3 years before I could hit 225 lol. Thing is, after year three I started JUMPING by 30 40 pounds every few months. I trained like a bodybuilder, but I was able to crush powerlifters. Where you start has nothing to do with where you finish. I was 18 when I started, 155, now I'm 45 205 and I can still bench 405, at my peek I was 245 and I could bench 315 for 20 reps and my pr is unknown, I never trued to go above 495, I was afraid lol, and like j said I was a bodybuilder not a powerlifter, and injuries was a big issue for me. What your pr is doesn't matter honestly, work your way up to what your goals are , keep adding every few weeks .

Robby don’t beat yourself up, did amazing with the transformation. It’s best if you take it abit slow on your fitness journey. Bodybuilding is a grueling process and requires a lot of lifestyle changes (which isn’t for everyone). Slow and steady wins the race. Respect for both of you guys!

Ryan has so much potential for gains. Its just he was massive in size that he didn't look fuller and on otyer hajd Robbie got some insane strength for his weight. He had big guns too.

as someone who has never had a problem with loving the gym and being dialed in, watching this was interesting. I forget how weird I am that I am so passionate about fitness while most people aren't as into it. The receptiveness of the splits and trying to make dieting fun is never something I think about, but for most people that is a deterrent. W vid and W for the boys for sending it for the 45 days
