Considering the price of cerakey keycaps, a full pre-built board for this price is a pretty good deal honestly. I don't know if I'm just blinded by being an enthusiast or not but the value is definitely there
Seems like the $160 nada 65 only comes in a single color scheme while cerakey offers a dozen different keycap styles at $120. You're paying for flexibility. On the other hand black isn't bad, but I'd be all over the 'blue crazed' with a metal shell. Would probably weigh 8 pounds though. Lol.
I actually purchased a set of Cerakeys V2 white with black legends keycaps and am using it on a Keychron Q6 Max keyboard with Kailh Jellyfish Y switches along with some clear Glorious o-rings. The sounds of the keycaps are very silent with maybe a slight ping noise but the overall feel of the caps are a bit awkward only because of how smooth the ceramic material is. The one gripe I have is the F and J keycaps have no homing bars, you would have to purchaser a separate set for $5 plus shipping. other than that I think these are very nice. Also the material allows the RGB on the board to shine through with the help of the clear switches.
Got mine yesterday. Love it so far. I was curious how it sounds on vertex switches but I can't really hear the difference. The only complain I've got is there is no battery check combination.
@@cerakey if you make a full white keycaps variant or a full black one I would instantly buy it. I dont really like the partly white/black and I think others would like it much more too if they had a choice colorwise
Great video, I'm curious what you would think of this keyboard with akko rosewood switches, they are very thocky, more so then the vertex v1 from my testing with ceramic keycaps
Hey Lewis! Thanks again for the amazing review! Do you know the name of the yellow switches that they use (in the space bar)? More specifically the design name of that switch.
Which switches are the most creamy sounding matched with the cerakeys? My mic isn't picking up the difference, all I hear is slightly higher or lower pitch.
Love this video! I was wondering if I could have some help in finding good keycaps for my Keeb I currently use a Tecware Phantom+ Elite w/ white and grey doubleshot keycaps. I do wish to find some custom keycaps where they dont look too simple, and the colors matches with the white board. What sets do you recommend? Apologies for the loaded info T^T
One day i hope a company/more companies come into the competition and start selling slightly budget ceramic keycaps. Just like how it is for the keyboard market now.
Heard cerakey is plagued with crooked/loose stems. What are your thoughts on the value at this price point when other premium budget boards like TKD cycles and Neo series exists?
yeah that was the v1 versions i have this keyboard and with the keycaps i noticed on my one that the bigger keys can tilt to a side if you put enough pressure on it
nobody seems to get that (based on the weight) you have to use a 100g spring for the spacebar. not only does this fix the sound issue - but in my opinion you don't have a usabie built before that (from a haptic perspective) clipping a 150g als works if push comes to shove (writing this on one)
Most of that price is from the keycaps though, you're getting a solid deal kinda. I mean everything else looks bottom of the barrel, but it sounds good so there's that. You're essentially paying $24 for the keyboard xD 3
You should do a review and Top/Bottom Mount build of Rakk Hanan Ultra, that prebuild has taken over Akko ACR in being the cheapest Aluminum Top/Bottom Mount keyboard being sold. Yeah it has gaskets but it also had holes for top/bottomount too, they didnt provide the screws for it for some unknown reasons.
Can you imagine the price what would it be then? Easly 3x more expensive that this. It was actually pretty clever to go with plastic because they could make it shiny and it goes well with shiny keycaps. Yeah you get somewhat imitation of ceramic/glossy case, but considering the price it was the best option to go. I can imagine they try to make full ceramic board in the future as they grow quite nice, but for beginning it's a very solid board, quite fairly prices.
@@maxchopin409 And? I've put in more than 700$ into the keyboard I'm currently using, in the keyboard hobby price isn't a huge problem for those that want it.

Hi, that's very cool!
Looking to get a similar set up, able to get in connect with you see some pic of this Board.
Thank you
this is amazing. just wish they were a bit cheaper 😔😔
for ceramic keycaps, might take awhile for them to lower their price, BUT if they manage to do it the board would go crazy
an A and B set is less than $100 right now bc of black friday
if you can pick some up now it’s a steal!

Thank you soooooo much for create such great content featuring our Nada 65 Panda!!
can you provide it with different color keycaps?

Very fair price considering the manufacturing costs that the keycaps must have
frfr
I really don't understand the fuss about the price considering there is none if you are GMK and put the same tag on ABS.
I wanted to get a ceramic set for a while now. I might order from them soon. I love the video thanks for making it
sounds like the perfect time for you
They have 15% off of the panda 65 now I bought one and cannot wait
Thx for the vid
Cheers all
are the keycaps cold to touch tho ??? genuinely curious cuz i want ceramic keycaps but idk if they're cold or what
I read very often that they are yes :)

hey lewis, great vid! wanna ask if it is worth it to switch to these ceramic keycaps from doubleshot abs ones? thanks

the price tho
yooo all of that for only 159? thats a steal but the spacebar is kind of mushy type of sound

The problem I have with ceramic keys is the spacebar is heavy and never sounds right IMO, I own cerakeys and they look/feel very high quality.
Cerakey always sends 2 87g switches for the spacebar.
