I love her hair and I too did want sisterlocs. After really paying attention to my hair I knew that my edges couldn’t take the retwisting, so I opted for small locs. Best decision and non have fallen out. My edges are stronger than they’ve ever been ❤
You can let the roots grow out a bit and start joining together/ palm roll at the root. I would do that sometimes to make a loc thicker when my hair was loc’d.
Same I wanted my hair small just like hers & just found out from someone telling me & my live that it's call sister locs so I searched it & now im here her hair is so long & pretty hair goals for sho✨️💖💯
What are your reasons for wanting micro over sister please? I want small locks but not too tiny? Keep going back and forth? Money is not the issue, but the future integrity of the locks. Hope you can share... 🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾
Well 1 is because I love to color, 2 is I can't keep my hands outta my head, and if there's any damage to occur for any reason or another could be post partum, medication, stress. Already having tiny SISTERLOCKS would be quicker to damage because they are already small. So it doesn't take much to get to the breaking or damage point...if you do decide, you want regret it. But if you do and decide to color, swim etc, just continue to protect your locks, stay on your retie regimen ENJOY YOUR JOURNEY. DONT BE AFRAID... LIVE AND LOVE YOUR LIFE. AND LOVE YOUR LOCK CHOICE..ANY SIZE😊@@christine1962ful
After 3 years of sisterlock retights , I switched to knotted locks. Constant retights every 6-8 weeks was causing thinning, but your locks are beautiful.. .
Do what the clients asked & paid for. As a professional, yes give your opinion and let the client make their decision. My loctician gave me med-large sisterlocks and i absolutely hated them. Took days and a lot of hair loss to comb out my sisterlocks.
It's a Ginger color. I use Advanced Coloration hair color line. It's 7CH mixed with 40 volume. I have two videos explaining and showing my color process. Check these out and let me know if you have any questions.
Can you please tell me how do you keep them healthy and not thin out? I hear that locs that are too thin will thin out and fall off. How do you prevent this from happening? Thanks.
Wow that's a lot of locs.. how long are your retie sessions? Someone does it for you? I have around 330 and I maintain my hair myself. That in a relaxed week is like 4 days off and on. Like 4 COMFORTABLE easy going days.
@Mrs.Adrian, so you're saying I'm not so badly off huh.. 😅 one time I frightened myself because I did my Retie in under 24hrs so I know it's possible. I just don't know how I did it 😄
@plumercrs1386 sisterlocks are "technically" smaller. The people installing microlocks are making them sisterlock size for short...everyone has an opinion on it though. Imo the largest sisterlock size is still too small for my liking. 💯
Fact of the matter, the work that is being passed by sisterlocks, as sisterlocks, aint even sisterlocks according to the sizing. The small size is ridiculous and majority of people don't put the small size in their clients hair.
Beautiful locs. They look great on you.

I have been sister locked for two years and I was recently thinking that I should have gotten micro loc.

I want my locs to be the size as yours. I'm not sure about sister locks but I've definitely been looking at micro locs
I'm cutting mine off and going for the microloc next time.
Gosh she's beautiful.
Drop dead gorgeous
I'm watching long micro loc videos to keep me motivated to keep going lol❤
I'm so glad!

Honesty. Take this advice. TY
Ur locks are beautiful
Thank you!

.
What's the difference between a retight and knotted? Is retight the same as retwist and is knotted really interlocking?
@PlusVK22 knots last longer (they don't unravel) and you have the option on how tight they get.
Those look beautiful omg
Simply beautiful....
Omg yours look so amazing can’t wait to do mine
Beautiful
Hey there !! Hope things are working out for you and hubby.... miss doing business at Lotus Moon ✌️
Hey!!! All is well! Miss your business as well!!
Subscribed, thanks. I'm planning to join the journey
Come on thru!!!
You are my hair goals but 😢 I have very thin hair with no edges. My locs are getting better but it’s so stressful
Keep at it. Don't stress...it adds to it.
Omg you are so beautiful
Thank you!🙌🏾
Your hair is beautiful
thanks
Your hair is beautiful & this is such helpful information. ❤ Would you have preferred interlocking or two strand twist to start?
Yes! I feel interlocking gives a more fortified foundation and the lock locks smoother. IMO
Thank you❤
You look beautiful 💕
Thank you!!
Do you have to lock the edges? I don’t want my edges locked at all because I know how fragile they are. But I do want smaller locks.
Don't lock them. Everyone's journey is different.

Why not small locs. It was recommended to me.
Sisterlocks are too small. Micro are bigger but still considered small.
😍Beautiful...💞
Thanks 🤗

It's hard to say. I have a few color videos on my channel. Check them out!
what are the differences between sisterlocks and microlocks?
Sizing mainly.
@@goddessvlogmedia which would you say are bigger since sisterlocks come in 3 different sizes? Or are micro locks smaller than the small sisterlocks?
@plumercrs1386 sisterlocks are "technically" smaller. The people installing microlocks are making them sisterlock size for short...everyone has an opinion on it though. Imo the largest sisterlock size is still too small for my liking. 💯
@@goddessvlogmedia got it. Might be why there are some that end up combining their locks to make them bigger. Thanks for the insight!
We're can i get the lock pin please help
I'm not sure what you mean. Can you clarify for me?
