Im a man, (31y.o) and i can 100% feel the lyrics of this song. I've had/have my own issues like we all do and i dont want someone to want to "fix me or save me" i want someone to want me for who i am. and thats something ive struggled with in relationships. These songs im gonna recomend are from a band thats not super huge but still amazing. Aesthetic Perfection - All beauty destroyed / Bye bye bye (cover) / Vapor. Hes a really under rated Artist but so talented.

The rest of the band is amazing too but the live shows I've seen is dominated by Maria, She is the show basically and the band is along for the ride.

I love Marias voice. Her range is really astounding also the whole vibe she is portraying. Her bodylanguage does not look like an act at all if so shes brilliant! She truly IS a goddess! i don’t know if you know her prepare to cry song called „into the light“ or on of her more recent releases „the in between“. both songs give me goosebumps however the first one is sad and there is no music video just a lyric version.

I think that the singer of this song, although she has a very good and appropriate voice, but she can't feel the song, which means she doesn't believe what she is singing. In order to understand what I mean by the fact that the singer can also convey the lyrical feeling with the song, just go to the song "flying" by Slipknot. Niki, I also did not understand the reason for the lipstick on the singer's chin, but I think it was meant to evoke the blood drawn from the mouth, considering the type of poetry and the text of the song, I don't think the makeup was appropriate. Currently she is 17yo and about to be released to the world with her debut album. She was sign to Republic Records after years of turning every music exec's offer down.
I wish they would get back this more "pure" vocal style that seems to have disappeared in the last couple albums. They use far too many effects on her vocals now.

In a way your guess about it being more intense is correct. The music may not have been but I'd argue the lyrics are extremely intense.

Sometimes I dont like the way she pronouncesw some words. And sometimes theres too mch Cry=ey to the singing. Like Mix of crying but not crying.
