Can confirm. I've seen them live 3 times, and every time I've seen them, they put on a really good show. I love Maria's vocals. She has some really good natural rasp, and she sings cleans really well. Keep it metal. \m/

It's a survivors defense mechanism. People don't realize, she has been through tons of hell in her life. Christmas, like Easter, All Saints day are based off of Pagan holidays. They are in no way biblical at all.
You have to see the live performance of this song. It's truly amazing. Now to see the other end of the spectrum that In This Moment has to offer, you should check out "Gun Show"

I believe this song is about the cycle of abuse...going back into abuse over and over again..continuous need to survive and fight..trapped in in a constant cycle.."dont save me because I will go back because I'm trapped in my own poison"..the cycle of abuse sucks..breaking the cycle can be tough.

I'll just say, this woman's vocals are POWERFUL in this song. Regardless of what critique is given, she has much more than her songs portray. Their older stuff is kinda fluffy, but regardless, I love this womans voice and the band.

It was so good that it felt like she had used some vocal help. I am not saying she lip synced but hard to believe she hit those notes. Anyway this a really great song and probably my favorite by them. I think the best song live is Oh Lord. The live version is better than the studio version. So I would review the live one.
