It's similar to saying you'd rather play Minecraft with Keep Inventory or rather play Mario Kart with smart steering on during time trials.
I would personally suggest the corporate restructure mod instead of shiploot as shiploot is ugly and also counts keys which don't sell for anything. I would also suggest trey's health text instead of health metrics as it fits the hud better. I think that reserved item slots take away from the game and make it less about proxy chat and resource management, which is contrary to the game's intended loop. I would also recommend solos bodycams as I think that it is much higher resolution. This is just my opinion on some mods, not you.I love the videos, keep it up!
It's not host only, it's client sided, but it works best if the host also has it due to desync. (Read the README of ReservedItemSlotCore for info on this). But even if that was true, why would that be a reason to avoid it?

Reserved slots seems like cheating more than quality of life to be fully honest. Part of the game difficulty is item and equipment management.
