Mam Tor, Lose Hill & The Broken Road

Take a walk with me on my Birthday up to Mam Tor, over the great ridge to Loose Hill and back again via the Broken Road.
My first trip to the Peak District since I was a child, I definitely felt it on the hills but it's inspired me to get fitter and enjoy stunning walks like this again in the future.

I did this walk on Saturday but started from the car park in Castleton. There were a few fell-running races happening ,but it added to the excitement! I walked back up the pass , then up to Windy Knoll,Mam Tor and then across to Lose Hill ( in a snowy blizzard!) From Lose Hill there are footpaths back down to Castleton again. A lovely circular walk . Thanks for taking the time to make this video and have a wonderful week ahead 😊

That sounds like you had an awesome day! I went back on Friday and did a walk from Castleton up through Cave Dale, I did see all the prep happening for the fell running event!
