I could never take Berberine because it upset my stomach so badly, but I don't have any from this Super Berberine (Dihydroberberine). It controls my glucose levels beautifully; I thank Dr. Ergin.
how much do you take and how long did it take to work

Are you saying that sugar MDs super berberine it's not a good reputable product? I've been taking it for nine months with no side effects except for having my cholesterol drop 75 points!
Hi Mary, I'm not saying that and I'm glad your cholesterol has declined so much. While I would like to see more studies on dihydroberberine, it seems to be working well for you.
I resently spoke to my Dr about Berberine and he said it is a supplement and there needs to be more investigating of this supplement. He said if someone is thinking of trying Berberine make sure that it's ordered from a reputable company because those questionable companies can put anything in their products and call it a natural supplement and he said Do not buy it from any company like China, etc. So can you recommend a Berberine supplement to buy from a reputable company in the United States ?

I agree getting it from a quality company is paramount. I agree with your doctor about the word "natural" which has no official definition. Id avoid supplements that contain the word natural. Looking for companies that are 3rd party tested for potency is also helpful.
As for China, this will be difficult.
Most dietary supplements in the US these days are sourced from China. As an aside the dihydroberberine ingredients in Super berberine is made by a Chinese company.
The only way to know is to call companies and ask them what country they get their supplements from. I'd also ask for a 3rd party independent testing to verify potency.
